Video games have been in existence for decades now. They’ve spawned hundreds of media icons, Mario and Sonic being key examples. Millions of games, covering just about everything in your imagination and more. However, in every single video game, there’s something you have to do, a way you have to do it in.

Not anymore.

Welcome to the Get Violent Video Game RPG, the RPG that lets you take control of your favourite video game character and do just about anything with him. Solid Snake vs. Bowser, Leon Kennedy vs. Kratos, Master Chief vs. Gordon Freeman, the possibilities are endless. Get writing.

The Layout

This is the first Season, and the location is New York City. Players first posts will feature their character in familiar surroundings, possibly a key point in their history, before mysteriously finding themselves in the modern day city. From season to season, the location will change, next season could be Ancient Greece from God of War, or Talon from Metroid Prime for example.

It may be that a player may take certain other character’s/items with them to pose as interesting plot points, say Liquid Snake could be hold of a Metal Gear, or Master Chief brings his war with him, its up to you.

The Rules

- No characters from video games based on comic books or movies etc, this game is designed for video game characters and nothing else.

- No killing taken characters without the player’s permission. That may be harder with some characters so be careful.

- Stay within your character’s limits. Mario isn’t going to be jumping sky scrapers anytime soon.

- Check what you’re bringing with you with an official. Don’t want someone bringing World War 2 with them for example.

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Clokwerk, chief antagonist of Sly Cooper and The Thevius Racoonus, and the cause of all the trouble in Sly 2: Band of Thieves, although he isn't in it.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Clokwerk is a genius inventor, who developed computers and advanced cybernetic technology thousands of years before they were even imagined by Science Fiction writers. His most impressive, albiet in an unsavory way, is his almost psychotic obsession with and determination to kill ever member of the Cooper family there ever will be. This obsession allowed him to survive for hundreds of years before he turned himself into a cyborg. He is massive in size, is nigh indestructible, is capable of flight, and posesses a small arsenal of weapons, including machine guns, missiles, and heat vision. His eyes also have a hypnotic gaze.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: No. He's setting up shop from scratch.

Why have you chosen this character?: He has the chance to be a major villain. And he's a giant robot.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character?

Clockwerk was a rival of one of Sly Cooper's ancestors back in ancient Egypt. Somehow, their rivalry turned into pure hatred, and Clockwerk killed Sly's ancestor. He then procceeded to follow the man's descendants all over the world (the Coopers are globe trotters by nature, you see), wait until they've had children, and then kill them. As he did so, he lost more and more of his humanity (or, birdishness, I guuess), and eventually was entirely mechanical in nature. He was "killed" by Sly Cooper, and his parts were used by a corrupt Interpol agent to transform into an immortal, all powerful cyborg (who was subsiquently killed by Sly. Immortal my ass). However, the atentive player would notice that, out of all of his body parts mentioned, his brain remained unaccounted for.

The sun sets in the Egyptian desert. Dr. Richard Teller has been digging for two weeks now. He believed he's found the remains of an old burial ground, from before the days of mummification. Not a truely spectacular find, but it would tell us more about where we came from. Which, as far as Dr. Teller is concerned, is what archeology is really about. He hears his name called out, and rushes over to his assitant, Randall.

"Randall, what did you find?"

"...th...this!"

He looks at the object in Randall's hands. It is a brain, in a class orb, suspended in fluid and connected to a series of metal wires, which in turn connect to metal circles on the surface of the orb. Dr. Teller suddenly thinks of how huge a find this is.

To those who have not realized by now, this tale will, eventually, and in his very bloody death.

The spell that Ganondorf cast upon the Tri-Force that caused the teleportation to modern day New York City brought Zelda, Ganondorf, and the Tri-Force itself to New York, and all three characters and the Tri-Force are scattered in different places in NYC.

Why have you chosen this character?: Link is one of the most legendary heroes in video game history!

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? In the ancient land of Hyrule, an evil wizard named Ganondorf tried to open a door to an evil world holding the legendary Tri-force by capturing seven young maidens that were descendants of seven mages that sealed the door forever. He believed he could harness the magic of the maidens to open the sealed door and steal the power of the Tri-force to rule both worlds. Link is a boy, now a young man, who one fateful night woke up to a mysterious voice, a female voice of one of the maidens, one named Zelda, and thus his journey began to save her and defeat the wizard and protect the Tri-Force.

After a feirce battle, Zelda, or Sheik, used a powerful magic spell to weaken Ganondorf, I then gave one more powerful slash to Ganondorf and he fell next to the Tri-Force.

"If I can't have the Tri-Force, NO ONE CAN!!!"

Ganondorf then cast a spell on the Tri-Force and a burst of white light came from it, engulfing all three of us in it.

And everything went black, and I woke up in this strange place with tall structures and beeping contraptions...

Nightmare is the main antagonist in the Soul Calibur games. He is the wielder of the posessed, evil sword, Soul Edge.

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Naked Snake (or Big Boss) from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater/Subsistence, and Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPS. An older version of the character appears in Metal Gear 1 and 2, but I will be playing him from the end of Portable OPS so it doesn't really matter.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Naked Snake/Big Boss is the ultimate warrior, possessing mastery of close-quaters combat, perfect sneaking skills, and experience with any weapon. He only has use of his left eye after his right was shot.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Just his bandana and eye-patch.

Why have you chosen this character?: Metal Gear Solid is my favourite game series, but Solid Snake was a little too obvious a choice, I figured playing Naked Snake, from a different time would be much more interesting.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character?: Years later after where I play Snake off from, Les Enfant Terribles project commences. Bascially, the clone sons of Big Boss are born, Liquid, Solid, and Solidus Snakes.

"I've realised I'm not living unless I'm in battle, so I have to find my own reason to fight, I have to pass on what's been handed down to me." Jack looked out over the air field with his good eye. His squad were being led off the airplane, saluting him as they went. He gestured back as a sense of pride fell about the place. He's spent the past month or so with those men, everyone single one of them, a brave soldier. It was an honour to fight by their side, especially as they were willing to give up their lives to bring down Metal Gear. Roy Campbell slowly walked away from him, back to his duties. In turn, Snake too left the scene.

The car ride was uncomfertable. As Snake rocked in unison with the bumps, one thing stayed on his mind. "Your son will bring the world to ruin. Your son will save the world." Elisa's final words. Snake had already told her he wouldn't have children, and yet still she persisted. What could she mean? Bring the world to ruin and save it?

Only time could tell. Snake had to live on, had to survive, had to find the answers.

Training was a breeze for Snake, now back in his sneaking suit, bandana equiped and eye-patch secured. Darting to the next wall, he snapped his paintball gun into action and landed one into a guard's head.

"Excellent Snake, that ordeal on the peninsula has left you in top form." Major Zero stepped out, marking the end of the excersise. Snake approached his old friend, interrupted by a tremor at his feet. He looked up at the Major, who had stopped moving. Completely.

It was like he was frozen. Snake cautiously reached for his survival knife, before the wall exploded. Snake managed barely to stay on his feet as a woman floated through the gap.

"Elisa!?" failing to keep his jaw shut, Snake edged backwards. She was meant to be dead, stabbed by Gene. Snake could see that same powerfull glow she'd emitted before, but her expersion was... twisted.

"You're son will bring the world to ruin, your son will save the world."

"What are you trying to say to me?" he growled, slowly picking up his MK from the Major's hand.

"See for yourself." light covered Snake's eye instantly blinding him. As it started to fade, the noises of motors started to come closer and closer. Slowly, Snake opened his eye.

"Where the--"

"Hey, ya one eye'd nut! Get off the freakin' road!" a bulky man stepped up to Snake, appearing from what looked like a car, only... there were hundreds of them, and the designs we nothing like what he'd seen before.

Confused, he backed off of the road and into the bustling pavement. Sky scrapers, everywhere. He knew where he was. This was New York City. The question was, when was he there?

Yeah, that's a good place for Vergil, he's mainly concerned with his own power and will go through anyone who gets in his way, good or bad.

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Liquid Snake- Metal Gear Solid/ As an arm-Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Liquid has received black ops training from the SAS which he was a part of and would later join the group FOXHOUND. Liquid is an expert hand-to-hand and weapon combatant. He possesses an extensive knowledge in many different fields of the military. Liquid is also in peak human condition allow.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: A small group of soldiers and Metal Gear Rex

Why have you chosen this character?: One of my favorite games and one of my favorite villains.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Liquid is the son and clone of Big Boss. He is also the twin brother of Solid and Solidus Snake. He is head of the special ops group turned terrorist FOXHOUND. His main goal is to recreate Outer Heaven with the help of Metal Gear.

Snake.....it was his fault. It was him who reduced Liquid to this state. As Snake lived he was forced to share his mind with another, the traitor Ocelot. He believed though he could take over.

"Liquid" Ocelot spat out. "Get out of my MIND!" Ocelot's consciousness was brought to a very surreal landscape. It was a jungle but very oddly shape and standing on top of a small cliff was Liquid.

"Hello Ocelot, how's my arm treating you?" Liquid hop down from the cliff and headed toward Ocelot.

"How dare you Liquid!" Ocelot shouted at the approaching Liquid.

"How dare are I? You are the triple crossing everybody. I know who you really work for. And this..." he grab his arm that was attach to Ocelot "is mine." Liquid ripped off Ocelot's arm and placed it back onto his. Ocelot's eye's open but Liquid was in control. "I'm going to take your brand new toy and destroy your masters!"

Back in Ocelot's mine they both wrestled for control. Ocelot now had grown into a giant, towering over Liquid.

"It's going to take more than that to stop me, Liquid. It's my mind and I have control over this place!" A giant fist smash Liquid and everything turned black.

When Liquid's eyes open he wasn't in Ocelot's head anymore. He was in his own body. He looked around and figured he was in New York City judging by the buildings. A sound snapped him out of this joyous occasion.

"zzzzt....Commander your guest has arrived...." He remembered.....

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Ganondorf possesses the tri-force of power, making him incredibly powerful in terms of magic and strength. He has been known to fly, and summon immensly powerful punches, as well as shoot harmfull spells. He may also transform into Ganon, his true, monster like form, which has taken shape in that of a gigantic monster, and more recently a dog like form.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Everything that x-men:blacklight is bringing.

Why have you chosen this character?: He's one of the more classic video game villains out there, and has starred in some of the best games of all time.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character?: Ganondorf's main weakness is The Master Sword. While other weapon can hurt him, none are more effective against him.

Ganondorf's breathing started to deepen as he realised defeat was immenant, yet again. Yet again had the boy and that princess defeated him, in however many incarnations of them he found, children, teenagers, always they bested him.

He couldn't go down again, he had to retreat and rebuild, but he would not let them take what was rightfully his. "If I cannot have the Triforce, NO ONE CAN!" attempting to cast a protective spell over the 3 golden triangles, a light started to shine.

The dark lord's eyes widened as he became engulfed in the beam. And then, no more. He raised his head. People? Humans? Dressed in strange clothing. Machines, darting about the place. Buildings, taller than Hyrule Castle, here, there, everywhere.

What had he done?

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Carl "CJ" Johnson[Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas]

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: CJ has no powers, but he's a skilled driver, pilot, and marksman.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Like the game, CJ is starting with nothing but $400 in paper and the clothes on his back.

Why have you chosen this character?: Of all the diffrent characters you play in the GTA series, CJ is the most heroic. He does dirty things, but it's all towards a good cause. He's more of a hero than Claude or Tommy Vercetti.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character?

In 1992, Carl's mother is killed in a drive-by shooting. He returns to Los Santos for the funeral and is immediately confronted by members of C.R.A.S.H. (Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums), Officers Frank Tenpenny, Eddie Pulaski and Jimmy Hernandez, a group of police officers involved in corrupt dealings. Throughout the game, C.R.A.S.H. forces Carl to work for them because if he does not, they have the power to bring harm to him and his loved ones. At the very beginning of the game, they tell Carl that they intend to frame him for the the murder of police officer Ralph Pendlebury, whom C.R.A.S.H. killed to prevent him from exposing their illegal activities.
Early in the game, Carl aids Sweet and the rest of the senior members in reviving the GSF by ridding parts of the neighborhood of crack dealers, acquiring weapons, and regaining lost gang territory. This revival ends, however, after Carl learns that his friends Ryder and Big Smoke, senior GSF members, have betrayed the gang. As CJ discovers the betrayal, Sweet is ambushed by rival Ballas gang members and wounded. CJ arrives to fight them off and likely saves his brothers life, but they are arrested by the police after the battle. Sweet is tried, convicted, and sent to prison on a life sentence. CJ, however, is released by C.R.A.S.H. into a rural area to continue to perform jobs for the team. The GSF, along with Cesar's Aztecas, fall out of prominence. Consequently, their rivals, the Ballas and Los Santos Vagos, are able to take over all of Los Santos.
After a brief stay in the Badlands (during which CJ engaged in multiple robberies of small businesses), CJ and his remaining associates headed north for San Fierro, establishing a successful vehicle chop shop and dealership while strengthening links with the local Triad, killing Ryder and disbanding the strongest drug cartel in San Fierro, the Loco Syndicate. Gaining access to Las Venturas and gaining a large stake in a successful casino/hotel, CJ rescues rapper Madd Dogg from suicidal death (when he felt apparent responsibility for what he did to him) in front of people who didn't lift a finger to help out (if anything were betting on Madd Dogg to jump or not), and meets up and works for undercover government agent Mike Toreno, who would eventually arrange for the release of Sweet from prison. After that, he had planned a new life to start from. However, with Sweet returning to the neighborhood, CJ once again, though reluctantly after pointing out that the gang was only dragging him down and since leaving he has enjoyed money and success, aids Sweet in rebuilding the GSF's dominance in the city, and witnesses a citywide riot sparked after Frank Tenpenny was acquitted of all charges in court. To wrap up all loose ends in his life, CJ would finally confront and kill Big Smoke, before pursuing Tenpenny, who would die in a car crash in front of his house. In front of the dead and broken man, CJ prepared to commit mutilation of Tenpenny's corpse with his Desert Eagle, but Kendl comes by with CJ's friends and stops him. He then leaves Tenpenny with these words: " See you around... Officer."

It was a happy ending. Tenpenny and Pulaski were dead, the Grove was back on the way up again. Ceaser proposed to Kendl, it was gonna be weird having a beaner in the family, but he was a good one. I ain't worried.

But, like I was saying, it was a happy ending. Sweet had the families back on top and I was helping Madd Dogg go platinum. In fact, that's where I was headed before the **** hit the fan.

"Where you at, CJ?"

"I'm on my way, got stuck in traffic."

Before I can hit the gas, the light cuts out all around me.

"What the ****?"

As soon as I get it out my mouth, the light comes back on and I'm sitting ass first on the sidewalk. Cops surronding me.

"L.A.P.D. Freeze!"

"What the hell is L.A. I'm from Los Santos."

That's all I can get out, as the cop pistol whips me on the head and I pass out.

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Ryu, Street Fighter Series.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Powers:None Skills: Shotokan Karate, Chi Mastery including the ability to focus his chi in the form of energy attacks of different magnitude. Inventory: Duffle Bag with generic necessities.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: No

Why have you chosen this character?: I've been a fan of Ryu since Street Fighter II. I love hisdedication to his art, his devotion to do what is right, and his iron will.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Ryu is a perfect example of a wandering warrior. His life is entirely devoted to spiritual perfection through the art of Shotokan Karate. He does not care about winning or losing so much as the moment of the fight and the opportunity to grow stronger.

Rain falls hard apon Ryu, kneeling in the mud. His sweat mixed with blood drips from his brow, down his right cheek and onto his lips. The taste always drives him forward. Lightning and Thunder crash in the distance as the wind blows Ryu's red headband fiercly. Through the crash of thunder, the flash of lightning, the loud, cocky laugh filled with hate and ambition rings through his ears. "Why do you try such petty attempts? Do you really think you can tople me?" Lightning flashes again, revealing a cloaked figure hovering above Ryu in the rain. "Bison! Your reign ends here. Your time ends now!" Ryu clenches his fists. "Focus." he thinks to himeself. His legs tighten as he focuses his inner energy. In one clean motion he stands, raising his right arm and tucking his left arm in, using every muscle in his body, driven by his focus, powered by his chi. "Shoryuuuuken!" Ryu launches upward as lightning flashes again. Bison grins, arms outstretched he hurls a ball of Psycho Energy at Ryu. Lightning flashes once more, actually striking Ryu at the same time as the Psycho Energy. He writhers in agony, screaming out in pain. He lands on the mud with a loud thud.

Bison looks around. "Where...where did you go boy! Is this another one of your tricks?" Ryu is no where to be found. Bison raises an eyebrow, noticing all that remains where Ryu fell is an imprint of his fallen body in the mud.

Ryu opens his eyes slowly, shaking off the dizzy feeling. Looking around, he doesn't see Bison, or the tree's..or the rain...but rather, he notices the smell of garbage, of gasoline. He tries to get up. Ryu is laying in a pile of garbage, in an alley in the middle of New York City. "What...is going on?"

The man sat back watching the castle of Doma from across the field just outside the Empire's camp. The Empire had the castle under siege for many weeks now, but the defenders of Doma were well entrenched and it had been proving difficult to gain any ground against them. General Leo had been fighting a cautious battle and the Emperor was losing patience. That's why Kefka offered to go himself to check the siege's progress.

The screams of the frightened and dying wafted over to Kefka from the castle, bringing a smile to the jester-dressed mage's face.
"Ahhh...nothing can beat the music of a hundred voices screaming in unison. Hahahahahahaha!"

When General Leo had refused to take more agressive actions to win the battle, Kefka had to take matters into his own hands. So, with a little simple manipulation, Kefka poisoned the castle's water supply. And now every man, woman, and child in Doma was either dead or dying.
And with each new scream that joined the chorus, the jester's smile brightened.

"Kefka!"

Kefka turned to regard the voice, and saw two men. One was a muscle-bound blonde and the other, by the look of his armor, appeared to be a warrior of Doma.

Kefka looked quizzically at the blonde muscle man, "What happened? You get lost on the way to your gym?"

"And you", he continued as he turned his attention to the Doma soldier, "aren't you supposed to be dying horribly with the rest of your brood?"

"Thou will pay with your life for what you have done, monster", shouted the Doma man in anger as he gripped his sword.

"Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Whatever helps you sleep at night, little man", laughed Kefka maniacally.
"It'll be fun adding your screams to the melody."

Suddenly a darkness began to cloud Kefka's vision and he fealt disoriented.

"What? What have you done", he roared as he began to black out. Before he could utter another curse, Kefka's last sight was the ground rushing up to greet him.

His eyes began to blink open as he stared up at the night sky. The sound of strange horns and people immediately assaulted his ears. As he began to take in his surroundings, the mage noticed that he was laying down in a pile of garbage.
"What in the...", he thought aloud as he looked around to see tall buildings looming all around him as though they were a cage. Down one end of the alleyway were a few doors and dim lights, and the other led out to what looked to be some thoroughfare as many people walked by and strange chariots rode past them.

"What the hell just happened?"

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Vergil, Dante’s twin brother from the Devil May Cry series. I will be playing him shortly after his demise as Nelo Angelo, the mind controlled puppet of Mundus, at his brother’s hand.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Vergil is a half demon, so all of his attributes are well above human levels. His speed is so great that he was able to cut bullets in half and send them back on the tip of his sword. He can regenerate at an incredible rate. He is an exceptional swordsman; his blade is the Yamato, a katana passed down to him by his father. Vergil doesn’t use guns; he finds them to be a coward’s weapon. Vergil can turn into a full demon for short periods of time, increasing all of his abilities and allowing him to fly.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Just his sword. Most of the supporting characters in the series are living in the present time and any demons that will appear will come from portals from the underworld.

Why have you chosen this character?: Devil May Cry is the series that really got me into videogames. I always enjoyed playing characters that are working for what they want, not for anyone but them and Vergil is just that, he’ll get what he wants, by whatever means he chooses. He also has a more reserved personality than Dante; he likes to keep things to the point and has little patience for side conversation. He is a polar opposite of his brother.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? In DMC 3 Vergil is the main villain, he is searching for the power of his father Sparda without caring about the consequences in the human world. Vergil is eventually defeated by Dante and decides to reside in the demon realm, his father’s home. There he meets Mundus, the lord of the demon realm and the person that Sparda sacrificed his life to imprison. Vergil charges into battle against him but is defeated and turned into a pawn of Mundus who changes his name to Nelo Angelo. In DMC 1 Dante confronts Nelo three times in the game, each fight stopping when Nelo sees Dante’s half of their mother’s amulet. Eventually Mundus has Nelo reveal who he really is. In the following fight Dante defeats Nelo and takes his half of the amulet unlocking the true power of Sparda’s sword. I’ll be picking up right after DMC 1.

I am back in this same lake of blood, the spot where I fell the first time. I open my eyes; truly open my eyes for the first time since then. I look down at this obscene armor covering me, the symbol of my forced servitude. It’s starting to deteriorate. I hear his voice and the reason becomes clear.

“I will return son of Sparda and I will rule this world!”

I run to the sound of his voice resonating off the caverns in the demon realm. When I reach him I witness his weakened state, my brother has grow significantly more skilled since I last fought him. He was some how able to do what I could not but as always he left the job unfinished. His attitude would have resulted in Mundus returning to the human world, his carelessness will be his downfall. Mundus screams in agony and defeat, his attempt to rule all that he surveys shattered by the son of his greatest enemy. Now the other will be the cause of his death.

“Nelo Angelo, my black angel, though you have failed me I will show kindness to you, help me and I will show you mercy.”

I continue to move forward, as I get closer the cracks in the armor he imprisoned me in become apparent to him; a large section of it falls to the ground revealing my blue coat. This does not frighten him but the fear in his eyes shows through as he peers in to mine.

“No, those eyes, it can’t be, you have the eyes of the Sparda lineage but there’s something different, something more.”

“It’s the hate that I feel for you and the promise that I will not show the same mercy that my father and brother have shown. I will kill you and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.”

I transform into my full demon state, the transition is easier to maintain in the demon realm. Mundus has already been so weakened by his previous fight he can not attempt to defend himself. This demon who is one of the major causes of who I became will finally die by my hand. In his final breaths he bellows his hatred for my family and then fades away.

The portal that he was sent back through us slowly closing, giving me enough time to get through. There’s something that I have to retrieve, something that is rightfully mine. I appear in a dark alleyway, walk for a while, getting a feel for my surroundings. I put my hand to my chest, looking for the amulet that I know is gone. Now to find my brother and get it back.

“Dante…”

Terry Bogard has a brother, Andy Bogard, and their mutual friend Joe Higashi is a world reknowned kickboxing champion. Terry is responsible for the deaths of Geese Howard and Wolfgang Krauser, and due to the repsonsibility he feels over their deaths he has adopted the bastard child of Geese, Rock Howard, and is training him to be a great fighter. Due to his incredible fighting skills, he has always recieved invitations to the King of Fighters tournaments, but Terry himself is a simple man. He fights for the joy of it, now that Geese Howard is dead, and makes a living working odd jobs and, of course, off his reputation as Southtown's Hero.

My name is Terry Bogard. I'm the champion of the King of Fighters tournament and in my hometown, Southtown USA, I'm called the Wild Wolf. Wherever I am now, it sure ain't Southtown.


Last I knew I was in a match with this kid, Kyo Kusanagi. He beat me in the last King of Fighters and he's got some skill, he's even beaten Rugal. Anyway, we were having a match, and it was down to us. My teammates, my best friend Joe and my brother Andy, were already beaten by Iori's weird crew, but they'd gone down in double Kos. That left me and Kyo, and I almost had him with my Burn Knuckle, when ther ewas this flash of light. Now I'm here, in what I think is New York, but it's not the New York I know. For one thing, no one's ever heard of Southtown and I can't find it on any map. Moreover, there's nothing about Geese Howard or the King of Fighters tournament anywhere. Geese... I won't talk about him now.


So, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to find out where Rock Howard and Southtown are, no matter what. That kid needs me, and I'm not gonna let him down like I let down his dad. Then, I'm going to rejoin the King of Fighters tournament and figure out what the hell is going on. On top of all that, I know I'm going to win. You know why?

Knightmare was standing atop a hill, looking over the structure known as The Lost Cathedral. A magnificent palace, it is a palace that contains every form of architecture known to Europe. It is surrounded with eternally-flowing water, stated to be so pure it cleanse those who came to praise. The very thought dusgusted Knightmare. He was not sure why he was drawn to this place time and time again but every so often he would return to look apon the towers, beyond the mote, as if something was calling to him. This time was different. In the past he was always unsure why he was called here, unable to pinpoint what to look for, or where to look, but this time, he was drawn to a small courtyard. In the courtyard he looked around, and noticed a small fragment of metal laying in a bed of grass. He picked it up, and gazed apon it. The fragment flashed and brought the mighty Knightmare to his knees. Holding himself up with his sword, he tried to stand. Again the fragment flashed a blinding light. His sight was blurred by bright light. He tried to shake it off, he felt dizzy and fell unconcious. When he awoke, he noticed he was not in the courtyard of the Lost Cathedral, but rather in the middle of a large...city? Buildings as tall as the skies shot up from the ground. Chariots of metal and foul odor drove about. He was standing on black ground with yellow markings on the road. Knightmare was confused. Had the fragment sent him somewhere? Did it want him to conquer? Knightmare grinned under his helmet at the thought of a new civilization to destroy. Suddenly he heard a loud, irritating noise, and felt the presence of a large beast speed up behind him.

The Bus honked again, the large freak in the middle of the road dressed up as a mutated Knight wouldn't move. "Get out of the way you moron!" the driver yelled out of the window as he slammed on the breaks.

Knightmare turned, and with one clean sweep, brought Soul Edge up from the ground, over his head. The Bus split in two, with the two halves flying to each side of the street. A demonic laugh echoed throughout the streets of New York.

Leon sat at the bar and ordered a drink. He made sure to keep Ashley was in his peripheral vision. They may not be fighting Zombie's or crazy cults but it was still his job to make sure she was safe.

"I can't believe it's only been three months since that happened." He thought as he took a sip of his drink. He looked over at Ashley. She was talking to some guy. He took another sip. Leon has never been to New York before.

"I guess thats one of the perks to this job." He thought. " But then again.. I do have to babysit here."

They were in this city for the re-election campaign Ashley's dad was on. Campaign around the country trying to win votes. He took another sip. But almost choked. Ashley started to scream. He turned around and pulled out his gun. Everyone started to scream and ran out at the site of this. Leon looked at Ashley. She had fallen out of her chair. Obviously drunk. He sighed and helped her up.

She hiccuped. "C'mon.. Lets get you to the hotel."

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: As a result of being merged with Ansem, Riku has embraced the power of "the Dawn" which is magic composed of light and darkness. He also possesses the "Way to the Dawn" Keyblade.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: A Gummi Ship and the spirit of Xehanort's Nobody Xemnas. Xemnas will possess Riku, forcing out Xehanort's Heartless Ansem's spirit.

Why have you chosen this character?: I wanted Sora, so Riku will do.

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts begins with Sora, Kairi, and Riku on Destiny Islands, building a raft with which they can explore the worlds beyond the islands. One night, the islands are invaded by the darkness, beckoned by Riku. Sora confronts Riku and refuses his invitation to join him as he disappears into darkness. Sora finds himself possessing a Keyblade, a mystical weapon, afterwards. Riku ends up in Hollow Bastion, another world, where Maleficent resides. After searching for Riku in other worlds, Sora meets his friend at Traverse Town. There, Riku is able to take Sora's Keyblade without it disappearing from his hands. While Sora argues with his companion, Donald, about bringing Riku along for the journey, the boy disappears. Spying on Sora and his new companions, Maleficent convinces Riku that Sora has replaced him and Kairi with new friends and the Keyblade. While Sora battles Jafar, Riku kidnaps Princess Jasmine, in exchange for Maleficent's help in finding Kairi. Sora meets Riku later in Monstro, the whale. Riku attempts to kidnap Pinocchio to find how he possesses a heart, so that he can help the heartless Kairi. Riku disappears again while Sora battles a powerful Heartless. In Captain Hook's ship Maleficent gives Riku the power to control the Heartless. Later, Goofy and Donald's Gummi Ship is intercepted by Captain Hook's ship. After using his dark powers to create a dark clone of Sora, he throws the party into the brig. Sora breaks out, and meets Riku, who promptly disappears with Kairi's body and leaves Sora to fight his dark clone. Riku travels to Hollow Bastion using his dark powers, putting strain on himself. At the entrance to Hollow Bastion, Riku defeats the Beast, who has come for Belle. Afterwards, Riku takes Sora's Keyblade, claiming it was his all along. Under orders to follow the Keyblade, Donald and Goofy leave Sora. Sora finds his way inside the castle and confronts Riku again. Finding strength in his bond with Donald and Goofy, Sora's heart proves stronger than Riku's and Sora receives the Keyblade back. Defeated in the following fight, Riku runs away and meets a brown-robed man. The mysterious being entices Riku into opening his heart fully to the darkness. Afterwards, Riku is posessed, being able to create a Keyblade out of the hearts of the princesses and transforming Maleficent into a dark dragon. The entity possessing Riku reveals himself to be Ansem, the former leader of Hollow Bastion and researcher of the Heartless. After Riku struggles, Ansem removes his heart and it is sent to the realm of darkness. In the realm of darkness, Riku meets Mickey who gives him guidance. Riku helps Sora close the door to the dark realm at the cost of trapping himself and Mickey inside.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories after Sora entered Castle Oblivion, Riku found himself in nothingness. There he was spoken to by a mysterious voice. The voice gave him the choice of staying in the comforting "sleep" or awakening. Riku chooses the latter, finding himself in the basement of Castle Oblivion. There, he confronts his memories of the darkness and the Ansem that still lingers in his heart, even after his defeat by Sora. Riku's presence is detected by members of Organization XIII, who are using the castle for their purposes. Those members decide to use Riku to oppose Sora, who is being used by Marluxia and Larxene, other members in the Organization, to overthrow the others. Riku meets Vexen, one of the basement residents of Organization XIII. Vexen battles Riku and uses the data to create the Riku Replica, who is later used to battle Sora. Later, Riku meets Lexaeus, another member of the basement faction. Lexaeus tells Riku to open himself to the darkness and fights him when he refuses to. Defeated, Lexaeus explodes into darkness, to overwhelm Riku. Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories alters the scene by having Ansem possess Riku and defeat Lexaeus. In the darkness, Ansem attempts to possess Riku, but is interrupted by Mickey, and Riku returns to Castle Oblivion. After Marluxia is defeated by Sora, Zexion, the remaining member of the basement faction, tries to destroy Riku by psychological warfare, convincing Riku that it was he who destroyed Destiny Islands and transforming himself into Sora to exacerbate Riku's guilt. Zexion drowns Riku in light, but a vision of Kairi convinces Riku to accept his dual nature of light and darkness. With resolve, Riku chases away Zexion. Riku meets Ansem again, but Riku is able to see that the spectre is not Ansem. The illusion reveals himself to be DiZ, a mysterious stranger that Mickey feels he remembers. DiZ implores Riku to meet Naminé, who is attending a sleeping Sora to restore his memories and tells Riku she can seal the darkness and Ansem in his heart. Riku, who realizes Naminé was the vision of Kairi he saw before, refuses the offer. He decides face Ansem. DiZ gives him the means to, and Riku defeats Ansem. Riku knows that Ansem is not fully gone, and leaves Castle Oblivion with Mickey as a companion.

Riku Replica

During his stay in Castle Oblivion, Riku encountered a clone of himself that was made by Organization XIII member Vexen. Unlike Riku, the replica did not fear darkness and used it freely. Larxene and Vexen decide to have Naminé erase the replica's memories and replace them with the same false memories of Naminé that they planted in Sora. Believing himself to be the real Riku, he engages Sora several times, telling him that he is not wanted in Castle Oblivion and that he would be the one to "save" Namine. During the final fight between Sora and him, he catches Sora off-guard and is about to finish him off when Naminé interferes and destroys his memories to save Sora, rendering him unconscious. Later on the 13th floor of the castle, the Riku Replica reappears and prevents Marluxia from slaying Naminé. After Sora defeats Marluxia, he thanks the clone who mentions that he does not have to be real to see Sora's kindness. The clone is found by Axel as he wanders around Castle Oblivion. Axel promises that he would become a new entity, not a shadow of someone, if he gained new powers. Listening to Axel, he kills Zexion but finds that this did not give him the individuality he desired and he decides that the only way to be original is to kill the original. Tracking Riku to the entrance of the Old Mansion in memory-Twilight Town, he fights Riku a final time but is defeated. As he lies mortally wounded and wondering where an artificial heart would go after death, Riku attempts to comfort his copy by saying "Your heart will go to the same place as mine." All the replica replies is "How original" and vanishes with a slight smile. In the manga, Riku Replica's story ends differently in a bizarre, humorous bonus comic. He wakes up after Namine destroys his memories and his old memories return. He has a short "fight" with the real Riku but loses, then winds up at Vexen's grave stone. After a set of Vexen Replicas appear, he takes them in tow and leaves Castle Oblivion.

Kingdom Hearts II

DiZ told Riku that the only way to awaken Sora was to unite him with Roxas, his Nobody. Roxas was created when Sora lost his heart for a short time in the past. The body and soul of Sora came together without the heart to form Roxas. But even though Sora regained his body and soul, Roxas still lived on, forever questioning his existence and why the Keyblade had come to him. Sora and Roxas were, in a way, different pieces of the same person. After finding out that he had to unite the two, Riku left immediately, wanting to do whatever he could for Sora's sake.When Riku encountered Roxas he didn't want to fight him. At first he couldn't believe Roxas was Sora's Nobody. During the entire fight, Riku only defended himself, making no move to hurt Roxas. Finally, Riku tested him, by saying something that only Sora would respond to. Roxas responded as Sora would, and Riku decided that he would have to believe DiZ's words. Being in the land of darkness, Riku had the disadvantage in the fight. Riku had already knocked Roxas out once, but couldn't bring himself to make the final blow.Instead, Riku unleashed the power of darkness to end things quickly, and even then, he used a minion to take hold of Roxas rather than using his own hands to do it. After unleashing that much darkness, Riku took on the form of Xehanort's Heartless. For the majority of the story, Riku remains in this form, helping Sora in secret, but never showing his face. He did not want Sora to know what he did for his sake or that he was forced to sacrifice his true form to unleash the darkness, and also made King Mickey promise never to tell.Riku managed to return to his original form upon the destruction of a machine that was intended to convert Kingdom Hearts into data. Riku, who had long ago strengthened his heart to a degree much higher than it was originally, was once again a Keyblade master. Once again he battled by Sora's side to save the universe, and even takes a life threatening blow to save Sora's life. In the end, Riku and Sora end up in a dark beach, and discuss how strong their friendship is and how much each of them wanted to be like the other, before a bottle with Kairi's letter washes up on the shore, creating a portal to Destiny Islands. The two take the portal and are finally sent home.

"You mean you don't know? You are an impostor. I MUST destroy you... So I can finally prove, once and for all, that I am the TRUE Sonic the Hedgehog!"

"YOU'RE F%@KING INSANE, METAL!!!!
You're programming's been corrupted, and now you're a f%@king maniac!"

Metal simply lowered his head, shook it slowly, and sighed.

"You poor, pathetic bastard. Do you REALLY still believe that YOU are the REAL Sonic? YOU'RE the one who has lost your mind, Flesh-Clone... But don't worry... I'm about to relieve you of your insanity."

In a flash, Metal was behind the confused Sonic, and he delivered a bone-shattering kick to Sonic's spine, sending him flying into a tree.
But, luckily, Sonic managed to leap off the tree and flew at his enemy, slamming into the him with incredible force. The two blue beings get to their feet and Metal opens a compartment in his chest, revealing the seven Chaos Emeralds. Sonic's eyes widen.

"You weak-minded fleshling. METAL SONIC now possesses the ultimate power! WHich I shall now use against YOU..."

Sonic braces himself for another powerful attack, but, instead, Metal begins creating a huge ball of energy.

"Now... I shall destroy this pitiful world. The world that YOU have called home for so many years, and from its ashes, I will create a NEW world... A BETTER world... MY world."

Sonic clenched his fists.

"I don't think so."

The Blue Blur leaped at his foe, and placed his hands on the Emeralds.

"CHAOS CONTROL!!!!"

There is a bright flash of light, and the two enemies disappear.

Why have you chosen this character?: I love this game. It is the only game I know very well and that I've stuck with from the begining.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character?
He is Japanese, can turn into a Devil when angry but can manipulate the devil within him to become an Angel. His mother and Asuka are the only ones you can stop him while he is in the Devil state. His Paternal family is corrupt. Jin stopped his Great-Grandfather's evil ramage as he died in his arms. His father and grandfather have been going at it for years because his father also had a devil gene that his grandfather wanted. When his grand father tried to kill his dad, his dad lost his devil gene. So now his dad and grandad both want Jin dead to take his power and a multi million dollar organization he owns.

Shadow was running. It seemed like he was always running, never looking back at the damage he causes. But this time, he wasn't running away. This time, he was running right at Eggman, and this time, he was going for the kill.

The doctor's minions were all around him, attempting to blast him to oblivion. But he knew that they couldn't, and Eggman knew they couldn't. He was just trying to buy some time to escape. But there was no escape. Not this time.

In a flash, Shadow jumped, and began hopping off of the robots' heads. One by one, like a staircase. Closer and closer to sweet revenge. Each bot toppled over, defeated. Soon enough, he was at his destination. And then Eggman was the one running.

He could never match Shadow's speed, so Shadow easily cut off his escape. Eggman ran in another direction, but there he was again. And again, and again. He was cornered, and his doomsday was moments away.

"Please, please! Show mercy Shadow! I saved your life, I never attempted to hurt you. PLEASE!" The doctor's cries were like the sweetest opera to Shadow's ears. But they meant nothing.

"Mercy? Someone of your reputation doesn't deserve mercy. They get whats comin' to them. It's a shame Sonic ain't here. He's missin' a helluva event."

"Sonic would let me live! He would stop you!"

"Yea, and then turn you in. You would be sentenced to death on arrival. I'm done listening to your phony pleas, now it's time for you to get what's comin' around." Shadow grabbed Eggman as soon as all of his robotic army arrived. "The more the merrier. Bye bye, Eggman."

And then it was time.

Thinks himself inferior to Solid Snake on the genetic level, but is mistaken, he was lied to by Revolver Ocelot and The Patriots and was tricked into thinking he had gained all the recessive genes from Big Boss.Has no knowledge of Solidus Snake until MGS2:Sons of Liberty.

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Sarah Kerrigan, The Queen of Blades (Starcraft)

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Kerrigan has always been an adept psychic among the Terran. However, her powers have been increased ten fold due to the Zerg infestation. After the infestation, she grew long claws and spikey wings, which she now uses as her weapons as opposed to her old Canister Rifle.
She also possesses the powers to Cloak (like any Terran Ghost), Ensare her victims in a slow-moving green slime (like the Zerg Queens), create a Psionic Storm (like the Protoss High Templar), and Consuming her Zerg allies for energy (like the Zerg Defilers). And of course, being the high Queen of the Zerg, she can control almost all of the Zerg Swarms (minus the broods that any renegade Cerebrates might still control). Of course, once she will find herself on Earth, she will have little to no control of any of her Zerg in the Koprulu Sector.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: She will be bringing a few Zerg Larva and an Overlord.

Why have you chosen this character?: She’s the Queen ***** of the Universe, what other reason you need!? Oh yeah, and this RPG could probably use another villian :oldrazz:

Serving the Confederacy
At an early age, the Terran Confederacy of the Koprulu Sector noticed her psychic affinity and immediately began her training as a Ghost, a covert operations specialist that uses their psychic powers. When she was very little, her powers became so instable that they killed her mother and damaged her father. Since then, she was taken into training.

Kerrigan was very rebellious during these years, refusing to even save her own father who was dieing of a tumor. She’d rather have him and herself die then serve the Confederacy. They would see no choice but to inject her with a neuro-adjuster, causing her uncontrolled and undisputed loyalty to them.

Since then, she went on as an accomplished assassin, killing many (including Angus Mengsk, who started the Korhalian revolt). She would later be taken to Vyctor 5’s Fujita Complex, where her telepathic powers were able to control a number of unidentified xenomorphs (Zerg). The Sons of Korhal, started by Angus’s son Arcturus, would rescue her and remove her neuro-adjuster. Since then, she became the right-hand woman under Arcturus.

Under the Sons of Korhal
At 26 yrs old, she was transported to Antiga Prime during the Zerg’s initial invasion of the Sector. On Antiga Prime, she would meet James Raynor, also under the Sons of Korhal at the time. Raynor had a major crush on her, as well as she did for him. This love, however, would come to die, after her metamorphisis that was to come.

Later, she would use a Psionic Emitter, a powerful device that would lure masses of Zerg to specific location, to use against the Confederacy. In New Gettysburg, Tarsonis, she would need to protect the Zerg Hive from the Protoss. She would be left there, abandoned by her leader Arcturus Mengsk, most likely to die to the Swarms. It was then that the Zerg Overmind noticed her power, and had her encased in a cocoon.

Infested Kerrigan
She would later awake as Infested Kerrigan, under the allegiance of the Zerg. Sarah was the favorite of the Overmind, overshadowing every one of the Cerebrates. Jim Raynor, now leading his own forces, would try to rescue her, but fail as she would serve only the Zerg. Kerrigan would later develop her psionic abilities by raiding the Terran Science Vessel Amerigo, increasing her power.

The Infested Terran would later fight the Protoss on the Zerg planet Char, and confront the High Templar Tassadar. It would be discovered as a distraction, and the Dark Templar Zeratul would permanently kill Cerebrate Zasz. She would take her revenge upon the Dark Templar, as the main Zerg attack forces would begin its invasion of the Protoss homeworld of Aiur.

The siege did hurt the Protoss dramatically, but it also caused the death of the Overmind. With the Swarms scattered and confused, Cerebrate Daggoth and others would begin their merging into a new Overmind. Kerrigan would launch her own campaign, one to kill the remaining Cerebrates and rule the Zerg herself.

On the secret Dark Templar homeworld of Shakuras, The High Templar would through a Warp Gate set up on Aiur and come to this planet as refugees to rebuild their civilization. However, two Cerebrates under the new Overmind had already come through this portal, and they would nestle themselves around an old Xel’Naga Temple. Kerrigan would come and offer to help them find the crystals Uraj and Khalis, which would activate the temple and destroy the Zerg around it. She said she was no longer under the control of the Overmind, but no one trusted her, except for the Dark Templar’s Matriarch, Raszagal, as she was being controlled by Sarah herself.

After retrieving the crystals, a revolt of the High Templar under Aldaris against the Dark Templar emerged. He would try to reveal his knowledge of Kerrigan’s influence over their Matriarch, but would be killed by the Infested Terran before he could. The temple would later was activated and obliterated the Zerg still on the planet.

Destroying the new Overmind
A large Expeditionary Force led by the United Earth Directorate would come into the picture, taking control of a powerful Psi Disruptor that would be used against the Zerg. Fearing the power of the UED, Kerrigan would influence Jim and the Protoss Fenix to ally with her. The UED would go on to conquer the now Terran Dominion homeworld of Korhal, with Emperor Mengsk fleeing to Aiur. She would rescue Jim and Fenix from the planet, with the help of Samir Duran (an Infested Terran under her command at the time).

This Samir Duran would later betray Kerrigan, as he had the UED before, and would activate the Psi Disruptor. This terribley hurt Kerrigan’s forces, and the UED would besiege Char, home of the new Overmind, and control it. Kerrigan would come to fight against the UED and their Zerg puppets with the help of Arcturus, Jim, and Fenix.

She would later kidnap Raszagal to Char, Zeratul following her. Kerrigan would give her back if he and his Dark Templar would help her in defeating the new Overmind; Zeratul agreed. They would defeat the Overmind, along with many of its Zerg and many UED soldiers. Raszagal, influenced too terribley, would not go with Zeratul, and so he would kill her.

Reckoning of the Queen of Blades
Everyone had enough with Kerrigan’s treachery. The UED, the Terran Dominion, and Protoss Artanis’s forces, would combine their attack against her. She would defend herself well, and would destroy all of the UED as it tried to retreat from the Sector. At last, she would crown herself the “Queen ***** of the Universe”, the Queen of Blades.

The Queen of Blades lauded over her Swarms atop an installation that overlooked Char, as she telepathically saw them rampaging across the Koprulu Sector. The Protoss were scarred, the Terran Dominion was in a state of disarray, and the UED’s Expeditionary Force had been slaughtered. There was no one that could stop her now, except for maybe one … the traitor Samir Duran!

She knew he had never been truly infested, it was all simply an affront for him. What he had planned she didn’t know, but she’d be sure to search for him. “Before I search for the traitor Duran, I will regroup my Swarms. They will hibernate, my forces will multiply, and I will have all my planets defended. No one will dare challenge me, no one!”

Just then, she heard the cries from a number of Overlords on the installation she stood upon telepathically. “Danger … Anomally Detected … Unidentified Worm Hole …” Why did they fear a Worm Hole, the Zerg had used these to travel across the galaxy. Puzzled, she called one of her Overlords to take her to it.

As it approached the Worm Hole, she noticed it was not of the Zerg’s creation! “What in God’s name … It couldn’t be … No!” This Worm Hole was one born naturally, it could lead anywhere. The worm hole would suck her and the whole installation apart, she had to get out of there. “Overlord, prepare to exit Char space now!” It tried, but the space anomaly began sucking it in, along with her still in the Overlord.

“No! I won't lose it all, my empire! No, not after all this … Noooooo!” And so she was sucked into the Worm Hole with the Overlord that she sat inside helplessly. It would take her far from the Koprulu Sector, and far from the time she once knew. The Queen of Blades will come to find herself in the modern day New York City upon the planet Earth.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Red is a Pokemon master who at the time of blackout is carrying with him three pokemon: Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle. He carries each in a small ball and can release them at will.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Just his Pokemon.

Why have you chosen this character?: I have always thought that the series has squandered the great potential that people carrying monsters around with them to do their will has. I played this game alot when it first came out and I was in middle school, and I hope to bring it back to what I loved about it originally, and away from the gayness that it has gravitated towards.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Pokemon trainers catch Pokemon and battle them with each other. The pokemon is somehow turned into light energy and stored in Pokeballs and carried by the trainer. Obviously since Red is the only trainer in New York, he will no longer need to abide by the rules of the Pokemon League, so expect to see him use them in a bit more violently and not just in battles.

Charizard nodded.

Suddenly, a bright white light flashed, filling the cave. For a split second, he saw Mew. That was the last thing he saw before he blacked out.

The young nurse at his bedside smiled at him. "Take it easy, friend. You're going to be okay."

Red sat up in his bed. He seemed to be in a hospital. "What happened?"

"You're lucky. Nobody else survived that beasts attack. It seemed to be trying to defend you actually."

Red was confused. What the hell had happened? "What beast?"

"Oh, wow. You really don't remember anything, do you? A big orange dragon appeared in the warehouse you were working at and began to attack everything. It was breathing fire and everything. Burnt the whole building to the ground."

Red's eyes widened. "Oh no. Where is he now?"

The nurse looked confused. "Don't worry, State Wildlife apprehended him and took him in for study."

Red jumped out of the bed and pulled his pants on. "That's my Charizard! I need to go, right now." He pulled on his red cap and ran down the hall.

I wasn't really planning on it. There would have to be a connection somewhere between the Pokemon world and the real world, which there isn't as of yet. Mew just linked the worlds for a second and then it was over. Doesn't mean it couldn't happen again though, and it doesn't mean that Link couldn't try to take on Red. :woot:

Well I think he's going for more of what happens in the comics. They become mutual allies and can be considered friends by some. But seeing as how he hasn't been on in weeks (To my knowledge). Just go ahead and do what you want. He can't have that much trouble with it.

Sonic cares about Shadow to some degree. He doesn't necessarily care about Eggman though, but he wasn't referring to Eggman. Anyway, I'll start posting in a minute. I've been trying to think of some place cool for him to appear.

He's the last surviving member of the Furon Empire...however, the Furons do possess the ability to clone themselves. In the first game, Crypto attempted to destroy the humans (big surprise, eh?), but by the second game, he has settled for merely conquering them. It appears that he's starting to like these meatsacks.

James taught Fox under the lifestyle of never giving up and trusting his instincts; something that Fox recalls often. During his early teens, Fox was a member of the Cornerian flight academy, along with his friend Bill Grey. When General Pepper sent the Star Fox team to investigate Venom's strange activity, Pigma Dengar betrayed his team, causing James McCloud and his close friend, Peppy Hare, to be captured by Andross. Peppy barely escaped Venom, and returned to Corneria to inform Fox of his father's fate. Upon hearing this news, Fox dropped out of the academy to avenge his father, and Peppy took Fox under his wing and began to train him.


Fox's father had just gone missing after pursuit of Andross, and was last seen in "The Awesome Black Hole" (a result of Andross' experiments) before his disappearance. Fox McCloud decided to step up and create the Star Fox team, which includes Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, and Slippy Toad. Soon, he and the rest of the Star Fox team are hired by General Pepper to stop the threat of Andross. With a strategic route in mind, they tackle Andross' forces until they reach the planet Venom. After several more hardships, Fox decides go to Andross' base alone at the last moment. He goes against Andross in a final showdown, and successfully defeats him. They then head back to Corneria.

Star Fox is called upon to stop Andross and save the Lylat System. Fox leads a new Star Fox throughout the battles in the Lylat System, running into allies and enemies alike. His friendship with Bill Grey is revealed during one of these missions, and he also goes toe-to-toe with Wolf O'Donnell of Star Wolf and others. Once Star Fox reaches Venom, they fight through its defensive lines or Star Wolf all the way to Andross's base, depending on which route the player takes. Despite the protests of his team, Fox faces Andross alone. Fox then leaves victorious as Andross' base explodes behind him. They head back to Corneria, where Pepper offers to officially integrate Star Fox into the Cornerian army. Fox declines, saying that they "prefer doing things" their own way.

Eight years later, a cockier Fox McCloud is hired to return missings chunks of Dinosaur Planet (later named Sauria) back to the main sphere, which have broken off. Fox rescues Prince Tricky, a local dinosaur of the EarthWalker tribe, from the SharpClaws. The leader of the SharpClaw tribe, General Scales, plans to conquer the planet piece by piece. The two must return the four SpellStones, magical objects that hold the planet together, to their rightful positions, and free an imprisoned Krystal by returning the missing five of six Krazoa Spirits to the Krazoa Palace. The Krazoa are powerful peace spirits who bring life to planets. Fox then defeats a ressurected Andross, who was the real villain behind the troubles on Dinosaur Planet. McCloud then returns to the Great Fox, and General Pepper pays him for saving the planet. Falco Lombardi, who had been inexplicably absent for the majority of the game, is reunited with the team. Krystal then also boards the Great Fox, and properly thanks Fox for saving her.

After a year has passed, Fox and his team are hired to defeat Andrew Oikonny, the nephew of the late Andross, who has started a rebellion against Corneria with the remnants of Andross's forces. Team Star Fox manages to corner Oikonny on the planet Fortuna, when Oikonny is suddenly shot down by a creature known as an Aparoid; strange, bug-like organisms with the ability to assimilate things living or not. On planet Katina, the team runs into Pigma Dengar, who sent out an S.O.S. signal to lure them. Pigma steals the core memory of a defeated Aparoid, which the team needs in order to locate the homeworld of the race and destroy the Queen; the Aparoid leader. Star Fox then encounters and gets into a brief skirmish with the Star Wolf team while searching for Pigma. After defeating Pigma, the stolen core memory is obtained. After freeing planet Sauria from the Aparoids, Fox then learns that Corneria has been heavily assaulted by the enemy. Star Wolf then comes to their aid when saving Corneria. Fox and crew finally reach the Aparoid homeworld, where the Queen is destroyed along with the home planet itself, once again with help from Star Wolf.

I get to my feet, and survey my surroundings. As I look around, I see my Arwing's wreckage, as it lies burried beneath the dirt and grass.

"What the hell happened?"

I flip on my communicator on my wrist. It blinks red, and all I hear is static.

"Great Fox? Come in. This is Fox. Peppy? Rob? Do you read?"

No answer. Damn. I look around at my surroundings. It appears I have landed in a deciduous forrest. Something like that I have seen on Sauria, but not as thick. There are brick pathways on the grass running in curved lines going off into the distance.

"So..this planet is inhabited?" Suddenly, I see movement close by. I reach for my blaster, but it is not there. "Damn. Must've lost it in the crash."

I see two humanoid figures walk over a small bridge, talking as they walk. They see me, and suddenly stop. They stare at me, and then my ship. I watch as their eyes grow wide, and their expressions turn to that of fear. Lucky break. They must be peaceful. Only peaceful beings feel fear. I approach them slowly, trying not to scare them away.

"Excuse me." I start. "Where am I? My name is Fox, and I am not from here." The being stares at me through glass lenses atop his nose. He stays speechless, still in utter shock. This race must not be acustom to any outlanders.

"What planet am I on?"

"Er...uh...Earth..."

"Earth, huh? I'll check the maps in a moment." I say to myself. "What city am I in?"

"Uh...Manhattan..."

"Weird name. No weirder than anything else, lately. Where are the buildings?"

"Uh...right outside the park..."

"Park? This is a park?"

"Uh...y-yeah...." He stammers.

"Interesting. Where is your leader? The person in charge?"

"Um...C-city H-hall?"

"Ah, thank you earthling. You have been very helpful."

I turn around, and walk toward my ship. I hear the earthlings run away quickly. Pathetic, really. I lkook amongst the wreckage, searching for any undamaged equipment before I begin my trek across the planet. I lok up at the sky, and see the sun shine off of the skyscrapers in the distance.

"Wow...how did I not notice those?"

Well, essentially, Mario is a supernaturalist. Just alot brighter and alot more fantastical, presented in his games. Well, what if he was taken seriously in that profession? Imagine a one man Ghostbuster team hunting down demons, ghosts, turtle monsters, and the demon king from another realm, Bowser.

Mario would be a supernatural hunter based in New York, originally immigrated from Sicily with his brother, Luigi. Now, unable to get a job, he works for a plumbing agency that Luigi aqquired. But his dream was to always prove spirits and demons to be real to an uncertain world, as he knew they existed. But Luigi is a drug addict, addicted to heroin in the form of roasted mushrooms he trades off for their earnings, even so much so that he sometimes envisions people having mushrooms for heads, bodies, and hats.

So together, with a mutual friend in Toad, the younger brother of Mario's off again/on again prostitute girlfriend Peach Toadstool... Mario has built an arsenal of both practical weapons and a collection of supernatural gems called "Stars". One star has the ability to make Mario twice the size of a man. Another star has the ability to make him fly, under the guise of a yellow cloak. Another star, and perhaps the most vital, enhances Mario's strength, speed, stamina and senses to a superhuman level, giving him an edge against his enemies.

His enemies would be a corrupt buisnessman inhabited by a demon minion of Bowswer, Koop A. Troopa, who runs a massive industry that prevents him from being touched by the Mario brothers. Knowing they're a menace to his public image as a human, and his overall plan under Lord Bowser to enslave the human realm, he sends constant supernatural creatures out of their respective realms to cause havoc and hopefully kill Mario. As a result, this is how Mario makes a living... a plumber by day, a demon hunter by night.

Really, in a nutshell, the revinvention is basing some elements of Mario lore in reality, with a serious outlook. Sort of like what Batman Begins did with that character... except here, there are demons, ghosts, monsters, and things like that, so it's not overly realistic. Just not a campy, fun loving, Saturday morning cartoon sort of world.

Actually, Fox McCloud could have once been a former U.S. Airforce pilot. Being the elite pilot he was, he was given special government-classified missions to fight an evil alien race, lead by Venom, who threatened the destruction of Earth.

Meanwhile, a secret underground group of scientists realized Fox's canny skills, and wished to enhance them. So they kidnapped McCloud and began trying to fuse him with a fox, in the hopes that he'd have increased reflexes and the like. From there, the Air Force created for him the Arwing, the greatest achievement in Air Force history. His co-pilots would undergo the same mutations and also be given Arwings, and the rest is history!

Only problems I see with me picking up Sam & Max are ...

You can post an app. But only as one character. You can NPC the other as much as you want though.

And about the Lord Doom playing Sonic thing. I didn't really have a problem with it. Obi-John said Lord Doom has a script so he wouldn't be writing the story just posting. Also, I don't think UK minded. But if anyone has any objections to this than say something. And we'll make him post an App.

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: Sam is an ace detective/policeman/whatever he probably feels like. He can also use the simplest items in some of the most outrageous ways. He’s also a great driver (well, compared to Max at least) and has an uncanny aim with his large revoler (when he isn’t using a blindfold of course). Sometimes, he can also use his little buddy as a useful object, whether its to short circuit a control box or use as a wooly mammoth hair clipper.

Why have you chosen this character?: Sam & Max are the best crime-fighting duo around! They can tackle just about anything, and come along with at least 10 wisecracks to follow. We also really need a few comic relief characters.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Sam & Max were created by Steve Purcell in 1987 as comic book characters. Sam, the anthromorphic dog, and Max, the hyper-kintiec rabbity thing, fight crime around the world (and even on the Moon) and have always been a parody of the classic Noir genre. They didn’t really get their big debut until 1993, premiering as the stars in their own PC Game Hit the Road, one of the most famous of all Adventure Games. In 2006, Telltale Game’s, LucasArts old adventure department, bought the rights to the characters and have since then began their own episodic PC games of the two.

In Hit the Road, they had to track down Bruno the Bigfoot and Trixie the giraffe-neck girl, who both fell madly in love and ran away from the circus. The Freelance Police went all over the touresty-trapped U.S., where they came to find top country singer Conroy Bumpus, and his bouncer Lee Harvey, had kidnapped the two and forced them to be his backup instrumentalists! Sam & Max would come to stop his evil plan, as well as save the sasquatch species through the means of weird voodoo magic and giant redwood trees taking over the whole west coast. Why the west coast is back to normal now, the world may never know!

In Telltale’s Season 1 of the episodic Sam & Max games, the duo had a number of cases all revolving around hypnosis. They’d have to stop a delusional Brady Culture, a washed-up 70’s TV star who was trying to brainwash the world with his videos, with the help of the Soda Poppers. Next was talk show host Myra Stump, who held her audience captive, but not against their own free will (another case of brainwashing). Afterwards, the Ted E. Bear’s Mafia-free Playland and Casino began creating hypno bears; the crime fighting duo would need to infiltrate and stop them from the inside. Later, they find the U.S. president accepting odd new mandates, and so Max must run for President himself; of course, they come to find it won’t be easy as Abe Lincoln’s statue runs as well! Furthermore, they come to find a group of outdated electronics, known as COPS, trying to hypnotize the world with the new Internet craze Reality 2.0, where Sam and Max would need to take down the Internet. Lastly, it has come to be discovered that Hugh Bliss, leader of the growing new Emetics cult, is the mastermind behind all the brainwashing! Sam would go to the moon, where he’d do battle to stop the evil bacteria that feeds on the bliss of humanity.

As Max jumped towards the phone, he had thought he'd won. Unforunately, a ninja sprang through the window and knocked him out. The stealthy assassin would make its escape out the Freelance Police's office door.

Sam casually walked toward the chorded phone and picked it up. He had won just like always. "Y'ello ... yes, yes ... yes ... Holy jackels on a World War 2 Sub holding a lobster and eating breakfast! We're on our way!" Max began to gain consciousness. "What happened?" "That was the Commissioner Max, all hells broken loose in Time Square." "Circus performers? Mutated grannies? Hugh Jackman?" "Worse, old-school video game characters." "Oh the horror!"

Sam went over to the coat rack which held his favorite hat. He picked it up and put it on, adjusting it to his likeness. "Ooh, can I drive!?" "Sure, just don't pull over anymore of those Aetherius guys."

Am I the only one that finds it odd that Fox and Sonic are fighting NPC bad guys when they could be fighting PC video game villians? :huh:

Then again, most of the villians in this RPG aren't being very ... well ... villianous. Except Kerrigan of course, she's already killed like 4 people already :oldrazz:
