Best Storyline: The Coming of Magneto (All)

This arc manage to withstand a change of a season, a coma, and Spider-Man9X17's strange disappearance. That, alone, is shocking and demands praise. It involved so many players, so many interesting themes, and has so many repercussions; it truly is

Best Hero: Captain America (Byrd Man)

The man plays a pompous military man well. I can smell the stench of patriotism before a post is even typed.

Best Villain: Magneto (Mr. Marko)

Magneto was able to bring his house into space, orchestrate a massive invasion, target an asteroid for New York, and was still defeated. That's what makes a good villain: his defeat no matter what the odds.

Best Multiplayer Character: Tie. Master Bruce (Iron Man, Doc Ock, Spider-Man) & Venom160 (Angel, Pyro, Tarantula)

I am extremely glad that a talented player such as Master Bruce has picked up three important characters. Bruce's Spider-Man feels like it's ripped straight from the pages of the book, Doc Ock (though not very worn-in) is going to be a devious, cold, calculating lunatic. And what's to say about Iron Man other than the fact that he's excellent?

Every post from Venom is quality, every post is different, and every post if entertaining. Each character has unique reactions and is well developed. They aren't simply cookie-cutter versions of the same person.

Best Developed Character: Spider-Woman (Eddie Brock Jr.)

Character development is the most important aspect of this game. Eddie Brock Jr. is just a fantastic story teller. I truly envy his ability to make Spider-Woman's emotions so easily accessible and human. Spider-Woman is her own individual. Her personality is no longer restricted by the ideas that Peter Parker has. She is thriving in her super-heroin identity, embracing it and making it a true part of who she is. She has joined the Ultimates and has proven her conscience, her "inner-voice", to be more moral than that of Peter Parker. Jessica has a hard time lying to Captain America, a man she's never met, yet the boy off of whom she is based, Peter Parker, can lie to the woman who raised him on a daily basis.

Best Rivalry: Charles Xavier & Magneto (Feature and Mr. Marko)

While there really wasn't much to chose from thus far in terms of "rivalries," Magneto and Xavier have certainly stood out as a unique pair. The antithesis of good and evil, purity and corruption, desire and abstention is so enthralling that it's hard to deny the greatness of these two RP'ers talent.

Best Fight: The Brotherhood Vs. The World (All)

This fight was just fun to write in. Pyro teamed up with Deadpool, Shadowcat teamed up with Spider-Man, and Tony Stark was readily hitting on Spider-Woman before the battle even began.

Best Comedic Post:Wilson: The One? (http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=12536920&postcount=10)(Me) - While I don't enjoy tooting my own horn, I really enjoyed writing this post and hoped people might like it as well.

Best Post: Father and Son (http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=12583985&postcount=129) ((Syn) Mercenary) - I really enjoyed reading this post. The dialog seemed to be some of the best this season and Blackheart is a fantastically evil villain.

MVP: Feature & Venom160 - You two crazy, bong-wielding lunatics are what keep the eternal clock of this game ticking. Keep smoking whatever you're smoking... cause it works.

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Not really much to say without giving it away. Believe me, it will be shown in due time. But his basic backstory is this: He's a construction worker who lives in Pittsburg and he's divorced with a son.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. This is an idea I've had for awhile. I really want to go through with it.

2. It's a mystery character! I just hope I can keep it a mystery until I reveal who he is.

Regarding my recent "unpleasantness..."

This is the only time I'm going to post this, and after this I'd like it to be forgotten:

I recently found out that my father has either stomach, lung, thyroid, or heart cancer, an autoimmune disease, or another rare disease. The doctors have been able to diagnose his condition because he is presenting with incredibly erratic symptoms. With the death of my mother a few years ago, this has me more on edge than usual. I will attempt to get my "jerkiness" under control, but it's likely that everyone and then I'll just have a ****ty night (see the "Get Violent" RPG) for more details.

This does not mean I'm going to be likely to care more about your feelings, everyone knows that's just not my style.

I just wanted to let everyone know what's going.

It oughtn't affect my performance, or lack thereof depending on perspective, in the games.

(I plan on posting this in most, if not all, of the games I play in; so if you've read this multiple times, then you're just silly.)

Life is boringly slow...

I've often heard the phrase life is short, I respectfully disagree. It's mind numbingly slow and long.

I see people on the streets 'rushing' from day to day. On their phones yammering on about business and mergers as fast as there Homo Sapien mouths will go. I don't blame them of course, it's not there fault they're intolerably slow. Not like father. He blames anything and everything on the Humans.

Even here in the Triskelion arguably one of the busiest buildings in the world. People coming and going, backwards and forwards. So slow. I guess thats what happens when you can move faster than any other living thing on the earth.
