You do not have to make a new one for a different character, but you have to update this one so that it is representative of the Ultimate version of the Sentry.
Since this character has been played before, you will have to find out what has been done with him in the past. The person you want to contact is Eddie Brock Jr.

A side note... most people post once daily, maybe even less. No one posts ten times or more. Usually... :yay:

Yeah, I did little with the Sentry. In a nutshell, Robert Reynolds worked at a Top Secret Government facility. One day, there was an accident. Robert was given powers (which he didn't show), and he started to babble about The Void. Robert was institutionalized where he was ridiculed until The Void actually came. Robert unleashed his abilities and 'destroyed' The Void by flying straight through the sun. After that, Robert recognized his responsibility to be Earth's Sentry.

If you really don't want to follow my continuity, you don't have to. Sentry has been retconned once anyway...

What if we made a new account for the Ultimate RPG's? They could be jointly used for Ultimate DC and Ultimate Marvel, in the same vein BnKRPG is used for the main ones. That way, 160 and Feature could update the first posts whenever they wanted, and if they ever needed to nominate another co-GM, they'd be able to update roster's too.

Obviously this couldn't be used until Season V for this game, and Season III for UDC, but maybe it could be something to consider.im all for this idea. It would really make everything alot easier roster wise. :up:

1. Go to this thread and read it all. http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=277689 (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=277689) Don't tell us that you've already read it, because if you had, you would no longer be confused.

2. Re-write your application for the Sentry so that it reflects his Ultimate Universe incarnation, which was created by one of the posters here (Eddie Brock Jr.)
He has already told you that you may ignore his work and start fresh, but you'll need to come up with your own unique origin for the character.
If that doesn't suit you, you may choose another character whose Ultimate incarnation you are more familiar with. Please check the roster that was posted a few pages back to see who is available.

3. Make sure your application includes a sample post, which is at least four paragraphs long and must include some dialogue. This sample post is to be written as the Sentry (or whichever character you decide you'd like to apply for).

4. Wait and see if you are approved by either myself, or Venom160. If you are, you can begin playing.

5. It is a good idea to read through as much of the IC thread as you can, so that you'll know what is going on in the game.

Follow these steps and you'll be good to go. :word:

Okay, got a deal worked out with Spidey's Super Fan about Toxin's origin, so:
ULTIMATE MARVEL RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Climperoonie

Character you would like to play: Toxin (Patrick Mulligan)

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Police Chief Patrick Mulligan found the credit card of one Ben Reilly in a restaurant. He takes it in hopes of contacting Reilly...... But the card is made from the suit. Use your imagination about what happens next.... Anyway, the suit grants him all the usual powers, including if he gets stressed the suit takes control.....

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. V-man and Carnage are taken.

2. Because we haven't got a Toxin in the Ultimate universe

3. Because he's orange.

What can you bring to this game? Another symbiote which COULD mean a battle of the symbiotes arc.....

ok, so since i choose sentry that mean i get to be sentry right. i have to act like him and etc. that what i read. is that right?Well you can write in two differant forms, first person and thirde person. First person is basically becoming the character, telling the story actually as the character.

Example: I rocket through the sky not stopping until I exit the atmosphere. I float there staring down at my home, the place iv sworn to protect.

Now third person is basically how you would tell the story to someone else.

Example: Sentry rockets through the sky stopping only when he exits the atmosphere. He floats motionless as he stared down at Earth, the planet hes' sworn to protect.

All you have to do is choose which of these two perspectives your more comfortable writing in. Personally I usually stick to first person, but sometimes I switch to third person cause it fits better with the post im writing.

Doom trugged through the snowy fields of Antarctica, his forest-green cloak whipping behind him as he did so. The cool wind brushed against the cold metal that was Doom's face. He didn't notice. He couldn't feel it, anyway.

"Sir," one of his subordinates repied. "some of the men have been lagging behind and they-"

"Leave them."

The soldier stopped in his tracks. His eyes widened.

"I... I'm sorry, sir?"

Doom did not cease his march.

"You heard me. Leave them. If they cannot keep up, then they have outlived their usefullness to me."

"But, sir... We are only MEN. We grow tired. Aren't you in need of rest, my lord?"

Doom paused to look back at his minion.

"Doom NEVER tires."

The metallic lord turned and continued his march. The relic he was lookng for HAD to be found. Before Richards could find it. For it was Richards' jealousy, Richards' envy that transformed Victor into what he is today. But it was VICTOR who took advantage of it. It was Victor who gave birth to Doom. He had ammassed a glorious new empire dedictaed to his cause. It was a shame that the world was in the state it is. But Doom would change that. Doom would change everything.

"Sir..."

"Mr. Vorador, mark my words, if the next word out of your mouth is some sort of complaint I WILL remove your tongue."

"No sir... We... We FOUND it!"

Doom stopped and turned. Then he marched over to his lackey and glimpsed the miniature screen in his gloved hand. It was a radar with a very large, red dot in its upper-left corner. If Doom could still grin, that's what he would be doing right this very moment.

"Signal the craft. We're heading there now."

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Bruce Banner has no powers in himself, however his body has been affected by a form of super-soldier serum that transform him into the hulk with his rage. The Hulk is basically indestructible with limitless strength. Banner however has a genius level intellect.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Because everyone plays the hulk, and it annoys me, Banner himself is a much better character.

2. The potential for a decent character is here, instead of a super smasho-basho!

3. I have 1 character, and I’ve never picked up a “Main” character in any RPG, should be nice to see what I can do.

Soft wet chunks stared back in a pool of thick red ooze that inhabited the toilet bowl. Bruce’s eyes leaked faint tears as the last remnants of the blood trickled out the corner of his mouth.

The monster was gone, but the taste was not. Flesh’s iron-like stain lingered on his palette, a prisoner within his own body, sharing his being with another built of rage and hatred.

A gaunt face leered back in the mirror, the toll of everything he has been a part of worn away the bright shiny future that once laid in front of him. Life had not been kind. Countless families shattered due to his quest in science, his arrogance and miscalculations, the death of hundreds, if not, more.

Dozens of heroes had tried to stop the beast before, scientists called in to reverse or inhibit the foulness of it all, nothing. Only one person could ever have power of the Hulk, and that was Banner. Without Banner, there is no Hulk. Without Hulk, there is no more suffering.

On a genetic level they have been shown to be superior. Mutants are the next in line for evolution. Although, the world does not believe this. The humans had surrounded themselves with dirty lies that mutants are the inferior ones. Magneto was to get rid of these lies. He was here to show the world the truth.

"Now, tell me why you fealt it was right to lynch these harmless mutant girl?" Magneto hovered over the mob shards of steel surrounded them.

"I.....I don't know!" the one man squeal. Tears ran down his cheek as shards of metal slowly pierced the man's skin.

"You're nothing but a mere insect. One that needs to be exterminated." The shards of metal flew inward heading toward the crowd.

Also due to the sentinel program he has developed an irrational hatred of mutants. He believes that humans will accept the machines and rise up against their enemies, the mutants. He sees it as the machine/human hybrids as taking their claim as the superior ones.

Due to his experiments Bastion is able to control any machine containing Sentinel programming. Also he is agumented with Sentinel technology which give him superhuman abilities and he is able to fire energy from his hands. Bastion also possess a genius level intellect which allows him to create the Omega Sentinels, his followers.

1. I wanted to get creative and ultimize someone
2. I believe that I can tell some interesting stories with him

The woods were litter with them. They looked like humans meshed with scrap metal. Don't let that fool you though they could cut through some of the stronger metas easily. Their leader wore a modified SHIELD outfit and stood at a raised platform looking over them.

"Brothers and sister it is time to come out from hiding. It is time to let the world know who we are." Bionic cheers came from the crowd. Some trees feel over as something very large made its way through the woods.

"It is time for our enemies learn of us. You know what to do." A very large Sentinel made its way through the woods.

"Exterminate all mutants!" the crowd and sentinel said in unison.

Anybody give me a brief summary of whats happened since I left?Well Mags was up to his old shenanigans again. He amassed a huge mutant army on asteroid M causing the Ultimates and X-men to join forces against him. On the Angel/Dazzler side (if your interested), Warren's mother was killed during the Gah Lak Tus invasion and his father requests that War comes to the funeral. Once at the family estate War finds out that his parents seemed to have learned the error of their ways and planned to become more of a part of War's life and than the big G invasion hit. The night before the funeral War proposes to Ali, she says yes and they start making plans for a Vegas wedding. After the funeral they caught word of Magneto's attack and heads to Stark Tower to back their friends up. During the fight War is confronted with an entity calling himself "Fallen", Fallen looks just like War and seems to have his super strength and healing factor. Fallen disappears during the fight but swears to War that their fight is far from over. Magneto, knowing his defeat was immanent, sends Asteroid M crashing right for Stark Tower. Deadpool, with some help from War, was able to destroy most of the asteroid before it could annihilate New York. A piece of the asteroid also hit the Triskelion causing a huge prison break. That brings us to now. :sigh: Hope that helped. We also did our own version of the Clone Saga but I think Edd could ya in on that better than I can.
