I'll miss Norton terribly, but I think Ruffalo is a true talent. It's amazing the films that he is in that I really haven't paid attention to. Like, I just watched Shutter Island for the first time last night and I didn't know that he was in the movie. And he was good. So, if Ruffalo is Banner, I'll go for it. And I don't think that Banner's role will be small if Ruffalo is cast.

I just read on msn where Ruffalo is pretty much locked to be Banner, but it's confusing saying that he is expected to "bulk up" for the role. Uh, I don't think he should bulk up at all. He's not literally playing the Hulk, is he? That would be disaster.

Incredible Hulk is criminally underrated imo. I love Iron Man but I think it gets an unfair share of the praise when you consider both movies.

No doubt .... underrated .... slept on .... you name it. Only reason it didn't do better was because of the lack of marketing (fault of all parties) and Ang's Hulk still in recent memory of the GA. It's still my fav Marvel film to date and it's not even close.

At the Avengers panel they did. When the stupid dude asked about Norton, Feige explained, but people booed explaiming they wanted Edward. Classless. But thank God Ruffalo didn't get booed.

As long as Banner's role is small, I will get over it. It won't bug me as much if his role is small. If he has a big part in the film then it will irk me considering Ruffalo is totally wrong for the role. Not that he isn't a great actor, just not the right person for Banner.

Who knows, Ruffalo could turn out a great performance with whatever he's given to work with. Hopefull it's a substancial amount. I don't expect Banner to be as prominant as the others, but who knows? It's possible in two years everyone will be over Norton and love Ruffalo.

Same here! I was angry that Norton was out but everything from this day forward will be positive about that from me. I still want to see an Incredible Hulk director's cut, however.
