I find Amy Winehouse to be an interesting-looking woman, but is she actually pretty at all? I must admit that I do find myself attracted to the freaky goth-types more often than not, but I'm still trying to decide if her look -- best described as Fran Drescher from "The Nanny" meets Kat Von D of "LA Ink" -- really works for me.

While we have been enjoying front row seats to the Britney Spears train wreck here in Los Angeles, our British friends have been had the chance to watch Amy Winehouse self-destruct first hand. Last night, after visiting her jail bird husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy went crazy, screaming and punching photographers outside a candy shop. Police were called and had to escort her to her car before she did any more harm.
Maybe those divorce rumors are little more than just rumors.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has spent a night in hospital and was put on a drip, her father Mitch has confirmed.
He said it was needed "to rehydrate her after she'd been vomiting" as part of her treatment for drug addiction.

Mr Winehouse said the star, who was admitted to rehab last month, was moved to hospital because her clinic did not have sufficient medical facilities.

He added it was still unclear if she would attend the Grammy Awards as she was still under "medical supervision".

She has been nominated for six gongs at the prestigious ceremony, which is being held in Los Angeles on 10 February.

"Everything is going according to plan and she's perfectly OK," Mr Winehouse told BBC radio station 1Xtra, adding that she was now back in the rehab clinic.

The singer agreed to receive treatment after a film of her apparently smoking a crack pipe emerged last month.

The star is planning to appeal after being arrested and fined in Norway in October for possession of cannabis.
