That was assumed. It could've been for either Supes or Bats, or both.

Those manips of Josh has confirmed the feeling I've always had about Josh, he should be nowhere near that suit.

I honestly think Duhamel would do rather well in the role. He's far from a great actor, but he is charming and gives off a certain confidence...and with Superman that may almost be more important.
I'm not really dead set towards him, but I do think he's probably the best candidate for the role that I've heard.


Still...I bet we can both agree that those rumors of him as Batman had better be dead wrong.

Kilmer's suit? You should make the blue a little more vivid.

Actually a fan made suit from Gotham Public Works. It was all black, but I changed the armor to grey and the cape and cowl dark blue. I thought about a vivid blue and tried it but it just didn't look right to me, so I went for a more dark look. I may still post the other one.

i love the suit, but there's somthing about the cowl and cape i don't like
Could you be more specific? I'm open to suggestions on how to improve it to the best of my ability. Is it the material? The shape of the cowl? Length of the ears? etc.


Although not really appropriate for a film set in modern times, that design has a really nice vintage look and could possible work for a period Batman film set in the 30's.
Is that just because it's cloth, or something else? I agree that the belt and gloves could stand to be altered and I've been saying for years that DC needs to get rid of the trunks on both Superman and Bats. That said, while I don't hate black armor and I even enjoy it as a unique visual take on the character, I don't think the idea of a cloth based suit should be completely ruled out. If nothing else it could help to further separate this Batman from Nolan's universe.

I like how the WW on the previous Wonder Woman pic actually looks like armor instead of fabric. I think it should look like thick armor.

I like that manip, as I said it would suit a more 1930's time frame, it has a nice 'vintage' look to it. The problem is that it's hard to see a modern looking Batman in anything but an armoured outfit of some description, the guy is human after all, he has no super powers or special abilities therefore fighting crime in nothing but a cloth based suit with no form of body protection what so ever is illogical. An entire cloth based Batman suit in my opinion is not a feasible option in any modern live action interpretation but as I said could work for one set in and around the 1930's. :up:

Hmm...can't seem to find any other pics. It's odd, because the IMAX featurette showed a brief glimpse and it looks quite slim. Oh well, we'll see a trailer soon enough.

EDIT : Found those pics. It almost looks like two totally different suits (aside from the BB suit). It's very strange stuff indeed.
