You ssaw Ralph Fiennes in Hamlet??!!!!!!! I hate you:mad:

Yeah! He was amazing. He won a Tony for it, too.
Ralph Fiennes is doing another Broadway play right now--with Ian McDiarmid (the Emperor) from Star Wars. That I would definitely love to see.

The coming attraction of Hugh getting "punk'd" was on an Elijah Wood board since he was also featured in the same preview. Hugh is at the end.

Oh I'm so watching.
I love Jay Leno! I can watch his show forever! (excluding a break on May 26)
Hugh is a producer so maybe he can say a bit more than the others can
I wanna see Kelsey Grammer, Famke Janssen, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Ben Foster and James Marsden all on one or two shows just once. :p

Rebbeca Romijn is like James Marsden - every thing she say about her (small) part is a spoiler.
That's hardly the case with Hugh...

Wow - that's soon! I'm kinda surprised it's not closer to the premiere, but maybe because he has to be in Cannes at that time or doing other shows.
Wonder if Jay will "razz" him since Hugh beat out Jay in the Emmy category - they were nominated in the same one.

Check out these two pages of great Hugh stuff on youtube.com - there's actually a couple from Boy From Oz, some Xmen, and you must watch the 2005 Once Before I Go one. There's also the burping contest from the Kid's Choice Awards.

Well in a comic there is a story. And when you make a side story thats called a "story arc" or an "arc". Such as the main story is a line and the "arc" or side story is a curve from that main line or a seperate line of its own.

Does anyone know if Wolverine's claws were really bent in X2 when magneto got a hold of him? I thought i saw them bend and spread wider apart.....

04-17-2006, 10:51 PM
Do you mean X1 when they are on top of the Statue and Logan is trying to stop the machine?
It appears as though they do bend backwards but then they snap back into place when Cyclops shoots Magneto.
Earlier in the movie, on the train when Magneto picks up logan for the first time, he bends hes claws apart slightly to inflict pain.

that explains it. Cause i thought for sure I saw his claws curl but then after that they were fine.
Every time I see Magneto control Wolverine, I know that's gotta hurt. Eeee ouch!

The Winter Soldier just admitted that he had pulled a job where he killed Logan's pregnant wife. Logan had gone to Japan after Weapon X and married a Japanese girl -- not Mariko. You know, where they create a character and kill her off just for sympathy. The whole thing sounds hokey to me continuity wise, but they are supposedly going to go into more detail in the new Origin series that comes out this week.:) Logan never actually married Mariko. A wedding was scheduled but Mastermind screwed that up. Later Mariko died from blowfish poison without them ever actually marrying.

I read about that, I didn't know they were inforcing it in the movies though. I'm glad they did, cause it gives him more detail, so that he's not a REALLY big mystery to the world other than to himself. Did that make sense? I dunno, but i understood it.

Actually, I think it's set up as the website of the Department of Mutant Affairs, judging by the results coming up from the search.
It looks like it's just trying to educate people on the dangers of rogue mutants... Registration Act, anyone?
I can see the "mutant cure cummit" being something like what they did for X-Men when they did that mini documentary on senator kelly and how mutants are dangerous. This summit is probably going to be a short films of a meeting/debate between government officials and some worthington industy representatives

X-Men star Hugh Jackman was all smiles leaving Beverly Hills restaurant The Ivy this past Monday after lunch with wife Deborra-Lee and 9-month-old daughter Ava. (The couple also have a 5-year-old son, Oscar.) Hugh left holding the diaper bag and tipped the big bucks ($20) for valet. whats a quantas freequent flyer card?? A frequent flyer card is something you get from the airlines, and whenever you travel on that airline (or a partner) you rack up points according to how many miles you fly, and then when you get so many miles (depends on the airline) you get a free trip on that airline. Someone said that red thing on the card you see looks like the Qantas symbol, so that's why they guessed it may be a frequent flyer card. But my question is, why would Hugh need a frequent flyer card - I would think most of his flying is paid for, but I guess there are times he does personal flying so why not have the card - if that's what it is.
A lot of the "Ozalots" are traveling to Australia to see Hugh's Boy from Oz performance using frequent flyer miles that they have racked up, so a lot of them really aren't paying for flying to Australia.

Perhaps instead of a Frequent flyer card, it is a VIP card, so he can get into the Quantas VIP lounge.

Oh good one! That's more plausible than a FF card (well, to me anyway). Since we are looking in Hugh's wallet - :p notice all the cards and papers he has has in there (and yes, some money peeking out)!

He must have enough frequent flyer miles to orbit Saturn by now...

This was debated some time ago. I'm among the camp who believes this statement wasn't meant to be taken literally, just to mean that Stryker turned him into a killing machine.

Maybe not so short or stubby, but realistically not as long as they are drawn here. They had him hacking through a wall once, shattering claw after claw and regenerating them just as fast as he was breaking them and quite frankly I thought it was a bit over the top. How long the bone claws are depend greatly on who illustrated the book at the time.

And that was when he was still James Howlett. The way the story is set up, it looks like Dog is actually the kid who grows up to be Wolverine, until that moment--when the other kid springs the claws and kills Dog's father. Dog's father, btw, had just killed James' father. Confused yet? :p

Because I remember that Wolverine's brother eventually shows up and turns out to have the same mutation--wouldn't that mean Logan was the father of both of them??The relationship between Thomas Logan and Elizabeth was confirmed in the Wolverine:The End mini. And yes, he would be the father of both of them. :) Again I think it fits well with what we've seen from the two men. Having different mothers is what gives Sabretooth (in my opinion, since this is all conjecture) his blonde hair and larger size.
oook, now i'm REALLY confused. lol
Well Thomas Logan, the howletts gardener looks exactly like todays wolverine so its pretty certain that wolverine is the result of an affair between mrs howlett and the gardener who already has a son. Dog Logan and wolverine are related so if they made dog turn out to be sabretooth that would mean that the two were realated

There was speculation that this guy Cyber might be Dog. Cyber was a villian in the Wolverine ongoing who once claimed that Logan killed his dad. Cyber had Adamantium on his body, some kind of reconstruction of his arms or some such (it's been a little while since I've read so forgive me). Cyber was killed (supposedly) when Stryfe(?) kidnapped him to remove Adamatium from him to restore it to Logan after Mags took it out. *more confusion ensues*

I was like -- That's it? I mean, Logan got all boo hoo about it and wanders off to live in the woods. The book as a whole though was good, but I thought they left too many questions, ones I hope will be answered in the new Origins ongoing that came out today. After reading the opening book of the new series, I can see they will be drawing it out, but I am hopeful. :)

His origins are what i love best about the character :)So far he has recovered his memories and he's out to beat up on whoever ordered Winter Soldier to kill his wife (a Japanese gal he married right after he busted out of Weapon X). He is currently ripping his way thru the White House. They really haven't said too much. I suppose they are working their way back through time. I am hoping for more answers on stuff that was raised up during his first Origins mini. If they don't I'll be mad.
