Hudson

Now the first thought that struck me was: 'I share my birthday with Kevin Federline.' but that's only because my cover is so deep, that I forgot who I was.
and Thank you all:D
DBella: Yes. :o Should I buy a ticket to Macabre city?

I prefer this title, the name Kevin Federline carries a certain taint.. and STD's. :O ;)

I expected you to lean more towards detective stories since you like Ray Chandler.

I usually mix-up different stuff and my tastes has changed some, since I started writing the book, I am writing a superheroic fantasy with Noir elements. and I got a Knight-Noir short I wrote a month ago.

but how can it be superheroic and noir? it can't be gritty and over-the-top all at once.'Cept maybe in a parody.

Batman does it:huh:
the first part is the more detective part of it. Though. Where he has to find out his family's legacy and so forth.

Ok imagine if people used magic and ancient artifacts as a reason for their superpowers, no cosmic rays, no radioactive spiders.
Now set it in another world, at least I did, this is close to what the world was around 1930's and 40's and on the verge of war.
let me see if I can't find an old Summary:
Legends tell tales of two magical warriors fighting for the side of light and darkness, masked in secrecy… now 2 thousand years later the masks returns and the world shall rumble as the fight begins again:
Eoin Marlowe just got out of the Special Forces and now is a police Detective for Bayten City, the number one murder city in all of Albain.
He’s got a lovely, intrepid reporter fiancée and loving Uncle and aunt who raised him.Everything is going RIGHT for him.
That is until he stumbled upon the case of a kidnapped Scientist who had defected from the dictator ship of Ailel, for things are suddenly spinning out of control, for the dictator’s right hand, the Crimson Mask is behind the kidnapping, and he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Rumors circulate he’s even got mythical powers protecting him. Eoin scoffs at this and continues his investigation until one day he stumbles into the Crimson Mask’s his hideout. In a gruelling shoot out Eoin is mortally wounded, lying bleeding on the ground, alone covered in shadows, a dark raspy voice offers him a choice. Offers him his destiny.
His wound healed, and alone, he finds himself in possession of a dark mask, seemingly absorbing all light it comes near, little does he know it’s the last hope for saving Albain and the whole world from the ambitious eyes of Dictator Xarden of Ailel for what he possesses is the mask of darkness a feared magical artifact connected to Eoin’s past, deeper than he ever thought possible
