On may 5th i sent my pre- order payment. of 1200.00 USD to Oliver von der Heydt https://www.paypalobjects.com/WEBSCR-490-20071102-1/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gifEbay name OVDH1 SHH bored name OVDH. Some of you may have seen his ebay listing months ago

I ordered my suit before his e-bay listing Due to all the great things i heard about him and his work. Everyone i talked to said he was great to deal with and got there suit's in 2 to 3 months time..... The same thing he told me so i thought what did i have to fear i have heard nothing but good things and i waited a year before i mad the huge jump to buy this suit.

His first massages where of course fast..... when it comes to money every seller is fast with a reply!with a price hike.

In a message dated 5/2/2007 7:57:26 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:Hi,

the current problem I have is that I live in germany and the USDollar is constantly losing against the euro which forced me to raise the price to $2400. I know this is much but I couldn't avoid it. Let me know if you're still interested.

Best wishes
OllieI even went as far as to help report fake e-bay listings makeing money off of his work.... ironic. So after weeks of waiting for my what should have been half done suit.... i get this e-mail

In a message dated 6/19/2007 5:14:43 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:
Hi,

yes, last week I received my original costume pieces. I've attached a few pics of it with a small quickly made test piece of my version beside. My reds are really close to the original, I only had to change the blues a bit and placed the order for your print yesterday. I should receive it in 2-3 weeks and should be ready with the costume by the end of July hopefully.

Best wishes
Ollie
So i figure Ok great then i can have an even more accurate display suit... SO i think nothing of it.

I then ask for an update on the status of my suit should be soon to be done suit! and i get this

In a message dated 7/19/2007 3:19:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time writes:Hi,

not yet, sorry for the late reply. My new mold is coming next week and also the print. From that time on the hot phase starts. In August I have nothing else to do than making spidey suits.

Best wishes
Ollie
So i say ok i guess it takes time and everyone that ordered there suit as far as i knew got it.... So i cut him some slack. I in no way was ever rude to him in any way at any point of are businesses trans action. Even with repeated e-mails of how my suit keeps getting pushed back further and further then the due dates he gave me.

So on the 12th of August i asked for another update Hey Oillie any updates? hope i am not bugging you. I then come to find my suit has had no work done to it!

In a message dated 8/16/2007 5:32:23 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:
Hi,

here some pictures I made last week of the print and the new mold, which I also posted on the hype. The suit is now getting sewed up, the webbing is also ready.

Best wishes Ollie

My suit just gets takes longer and longer. But i figure Well 2 more weeks no big deal. BTW he sent this same picture to another member saying it was a picture of his suit also....

After a few weeks Ollie e-mails me with the news i had been waiting for.
In a message dated 9/3/2007 5:22:30 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:Hi,

your suit will be finished and ready to ship tomorrow. Pictures will come tonight. As for the shipping, if you agree I will use FedEx as it's the safest. Cost will be $145. So the remaining balance is $1345.

And to confirm your address:

Chazz Womack

correct?

Best wishes
Ollie
So i send the money and can not wait to see the fed ex truck at my place.
So i ask how long will shipping take.

In a message dated 9/4/2007 5:43:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:Hi,

sorry for the short delay, pics are coming tomorrow. FedEx only needs 1 day from Germany to the USA.
SO i think SWEET one day awsome!..... here is where everything falls apart.

In a message dated 9/5/2007 12:03:14 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:Hey,

I ran out of time. I leave tonight and will be away for 3 weeks and there's just about 3 hours of work missing to complete the costume. I really planned to have everything ready until today but I failed. See the picture below, the costume is almost finished. I am really really sorry. If you agree I will refund the second payment and you can send it again on Sept. 28th when I'm back and made the last steps on the suit.

Again I'm so sorry

Ollie

Now i think Great this is a stand up guy everything i heard is right about him.... Later on i find out he sent the same e-mail to 2 other guys almost identical with different pictures... and a few text tweaks..
then i get this e-mail

In a message dated 9/29/2007 5:56:35 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, writes:Hi,

Where are you Ollie?????

I have been waiting for days for a reply about finished suit that i do not have in hand! All of my hospital visits and children's partys i had to cancel! One was even a paying gig , and the money would have been nice considering i paid you almost 2600.00 USD for a suit i have been waiting on for almost 6 months now. I would like a tracking number for my suit or a Refund!! I really don't want to do this but if i have to i will file a claim with paypal .
It's been 8 days with no word from you, Everytime you say the suit will ship it dosent and you vanish for a few days. What happened where have you gone!?!?!

From Buyer: Chazz Womack on 10/31/2007 22:37 PDT
Tracking number still shows up as nothing on fedex.com and it has been past 24 hour so if it did ship i am sure it would have been in the system by now .... also the suit is not here like you said it would be.so i am sure it didn't even ship yet again! and i bet i wont hear from you at all for another 2 weeks!

Unfortunately, this seems to be happening all the time now, even with the top and most "respected" suit makers. There are probably a half a dozen of these guys who start out making and sending suits and everything is cool, and suddenly, they start ignoring you. This has been going on for years. Other suit makers have been exposed right here on The Hype. I have been taken for a few bucks, but luckily, I had never sent the full amount.

My heart truly goes out to you Gundam, and the others who have been taken. I know how it feels to have your excitment for a beautiful suit become dashed by these unethical pieces of crap.

There is only one suit maker I would trust and that's spidey4fun.

I am new to this board, as well as the Ollie screwed me over club, I also have been ripped off by OVDH here is just a taste of his rollercoaster ride of deciet!!

Ollie,

I am still waiting for a reply. I have copied some of your previous emails and made comments on them in blue writing.

On September 5, 2007 you wrote:

I really planned to have everything ready until today but I failed. See the picture below, the costume is almost finished. I am really really sorry. I will be back at Sept. 28th and will finish it right that day. I know that you might miss some appearances so I can give you a $200 discount for your lost and the long wait

Again I'm so sorry

* Ok, fine, you couldn’t finish the costume before you went on holidays. I was pretty upset that I would have to wait another month for it, but was so excited for the costume that I was willing to wait the month.

On September 29, 2007 you wrote:

Hi,

just came back. It will be ready in a few days, just have to do the finger webbing and the spiders and lenses.

* You said in your previous email that you would finish the costume the day you got back. Then in this email, you said it would take a few days.

On October 4, 2007 you wrote:

Hi Josh,

oh couldn't you have told me that earlier, I would have hurried a bit
more. * We had set a deadline in the original transaction for a reason. I am losing money now on potential customers because I do not have the costume. I spent a lot of money on this costume, and expect that you would follow through with it. I did not think it was necessary to remind you that the deadline was over 1 month ago!! I'm nearly finished right now, but there's no way the costume
will arrive before tuesday. I still need saturday afternoon for the
final steps and cleaning. * As per this email, the Saturday afternoon that you referred to was 8 days following your return from holidays. You said that you only had a few hours on it at first, then a few days, and now over a week.

On October 9, 2007 you wrote:

Hi Josh,

the costume is ready to ship. I can send the costume on thursday as this is the only day of the week where I'm home to give it to the fedex courier. FedEx is quite expensive, but save and fast. So the rest is $1100 + $140 for the shipping. Paypal is info@ovdh.net (info@ovdh.net). I'll also mail you some pictures tomorrow.

Sorry for the delays and best wishes

* According to this email, MY COSTUME IS READY. Why is it not being shipped? I have paid IN FULL for the costume and will pay all shipping costs!! Also, I did not receive any more pictures of the costume!

On October 12, 2007 you wrote:

Hi,

they didn't pick it up yesterday, on the phone they said it was because the locomotive drivers are on strike and all the roads were stuck (definetely true) so the fedex carrier couldn't get to me in time. Well I'll try to have it picked up today, I'll let you know. I noted your instructions, everything ok.

* Normally, this would be understandable but you have still not contacted me, I have no idea what is going on. I tried calling you, I have emailed you many times, and still have no response. Since the costume is ready to ship as you said in your previous email, SEND IT. I need a Tracking Number and I need you to contact me now.

I have talked to another person who is waiting for a costume from you. He is also very upset. If you have taken on too many projects and are behind in your costumes, let me know. I just NEED to know what is going on, you should not be avoiding me.

It is 8 pm here, so that would make it around 4 am in Germany. I expect to hear a response from you within the next 24 hours or else I will be contacting PayPal and filing a dispute.

THIS IS THE FINAL EMAIL I WILL BE SENDING YOU. I am urging you to contact me and be honest with me about the situation.

Sincerely,

Josh Lyttle

I find it funny that he gives me almost the exact run around as he gives Gundam! So after this e-mail he then sends me a tracking #,I'm thinking great! Then on the day my "completed suit" is supposed to arrive he sends me this little gem....

Hi,

I also have to tell you that I couldn't finish the mask in time. It
will be shipped tomorrow through FedEx on my costs.

Best wishes
Ollie

So I now have a bodysuit ( which the webs fall off of when you look at it hard ) no mask, no tracking #, and NO REPLY FROM OLLIE SINCE THAT LAST E-MAIL!! That was on the 16th, it is now the 5th of November( by the by happy Guy Fawlkes day!) I know of at least 2 other people he is doing this to and I feel your pain fellas!

dude i really feel for you guys...
that is some messed up ****.
i remember when i ordered from nayef, it took him nearly 12mos to get my suit...but at least he was good about replying and he kept in touch...
also if i remember correctly he even refunded money to his buyers whom were frustrated from waiting.
but man waiting was a *****, kinda regret waiting so long, because after getting my costume, well all the glitter/excitement pretty much wore off.

the problem with some of these costume makers is that they don't know how to priortize their work more efficiently or maybe they just lack moral obligations.
$2grand is a heck of a lot of money, and a buyer should definitely expect a lot for it.

i hope you get your money back.
i really don't know at what point ollie started to slack off,
pretty ironic if all those fake spiderman auctions WERE actually run by ollie...HA

I had a similiar run in with Ollie. He's about contact until he gets paid. I ordered wwebbing from him. Paid half, he wanted to whole sum and I told him he'd have the other half when I had my tracking number.

They were going to be ready in 2 weeks. A month went by, no contact. He finally says he getting new molds, home boy must buy molds as often as I do underpants.

I finally filed a complaint on Paypal. He temporarily closed his accoutn because he knew I'd win the auction. I won and he was outta the paypal records. A month later he reopens his accoutn and they automatically pulled the money from his account and refunded my because they left the dsipute open.

I'll pitch in to help you get a plane ticket gundam. :spidey:

I am really debating on picking up one of Yuri Schurcke's (am I spelling this right?) Spidey costume kits but I am so gun shy that I don't even want to order a pack of gum off the internet! Besides, I don't know how to put the thing together and I don't want to screw it up trying, (that would be $3400 I would be spending in the pursuit of a kick @#! Spidey costume). I just wish I had done my homework better before I bought the suit from Ollie! This situation has inspired me to throw my hat into the costuming ring.

I bought a kit from Schuurkes and have been amazed by it ever since I opened the box. Everything flows together so nicely. The kit isn't as hard as you'd think it is to put together. Just make sure you have a serger, and time. I've never sewn before (besides 8th grade FACS class) and I am almsot finished with mine.

The only problem is I don't think you can get them anymore.

I am most concerned about the webbing and how durable it is, that was my main concern with Ollie's suit,$2400 later and i'm stuck with these crappy webs, I need to be able to move in this thing and need the proper webs and glue before I commit to the kit.

The webs are so flexible, I don't think the fabric will stretch enough to allow you to break the webs. I can take a half inch of webbing and stretch it about 4-5 inches before it breaks. The longer pieces of webbing that you actually use on the suit stretches even better.

the webs "seem" flexible, but after you wear them, it'll break soon enough.
that was the problem with urethane...u definitely need to maintain them.

I did my homework on Ollie, I read his post askesd everyone that ordered (that would answear PMs) a suit from him how long it took. what was the quality? ect.. ect.. I wish someone would have better informed me about him.
And yuri didn't start offering kits till after i sent half my money to ollie. If he offered one before hand i would have went with that and saved myself a mountain of money!!!!!:cmad:

the worst thing i hear about him was he was slow with e-mails sometimes..... I heard nothing about him taking money and ruining! or being4 to5 months late on a 2 month suit....

i was happy you were getting his suit, because i was pretty psyched about seeing it in person...but man...this is just too much crap.. =(

and if you spent in on his suit, did you receive it?

That was $2400 for the whole suit, and I recieved the body suit with no undershell or mask. The fit is good but the webs litterly fall off!

the webs fall off?
wholly crap...
i guess they weren't properly glued.
Even if you could order a set of new webbing,
it's kinda difficult to get the correct sized webbing because they all are a bit different in length and size.
for example;
Ollie makes the smallest webbing, and then brad and nayef makes the biggest. ones..
this is a freaking nightmare..:(

Hi,

I usually take a down payment of $900 to cover the material costs and the rest when the suit is ready to ship. Payment can go through paypal or any other service that is reliabe. Also, making a costume is a lot of work and I also have a daytime job, so it can take up to 3 months to finish a suit depending on the free time I have. Attached are some more pics.

It's one thing if a suit maker gets in over his head and simply is overwhelmed and can't ship out.

It's another thing if they continue to lie and steal after they have been exposed as frauds. He has gone from a great suit maker, to a guy who doesn't return e-mails, to a thief!

I got this e-mail this morning!!! I have sent e-mails to thank everyone that offered a helping hand!!

Hi Chazz,

OK it was very dumb of me to act that way. I had serious problems
with the suit: Before I went into my vacation I was nearly finished
as I told you and I've put the suit on a mannequin for the time I was
away. When I came back many of the webs around the upper body, the
mask and feet were broken. I can only guess, but it could have been
that some humidity was left in the mold when I casted your webs.
That's what my supplier told me. Because of that the color also
didn't stick that well. I don't know why I didn't tell you that. I
just thought I could fix it somehow, but it took a long time and the
results were not what I expect from my suits. When I first said the
suit will be shipped I was finished, just to see new broken webs on
the next morning that appeared over night. That depressed me and I
didn't know what to tell you, well it should have better been the
truth instead of nothing. Anyway, I fixed it again and I brought it
to the FedEx center to frankfurt today, tracking is the same as 2
weeks ago: . But the suit has flaws which I will not
accept and you won't also. Please see this suit as a temporary
solution, one that you can work with and make some appearances, until
I'm sending you a complete new suit that we both are satisfied with.
I will try to start with it as soon as I can. If you don't want to
agree to that we will find a different solution.

Best wishes
Ollie

We are now talking and everything looks like it will pan out great!!

Hey Ollie,

I Would have understood if you had just told me before, I myself do props and suits for others every now and then so i know how it is to have problems with your work. I really wish you told me before hand instead of ironing me.

e could have work it out with no problem, I am sorry for my last rash of e-mails. The lack of communication witch is all we have can only lead to me thinking bad things if you couldn't have e-mailed me, You could have called i have tried to reach you by phone many times. So i will take your word and believe you when you say

"Please see this suit as a temporary
solution, one that you can work with and make some appearances, until
I'm sending you a complete new suit that we both are satisfied with"

If this is true that you will do this then i will gladly accept your offer. Please just be honest with me.. or people in general it's the best policy. I'm glad you decided to e-mail me i thought i would never hear from you again. Please keep me posted.

Chazz

Hi Chazz,

That is great news Josh will be pleased Also!! what will you do for Roken?, he has been really humble about the whole thing.

Roken will get his money back as he wishes, I'll send him a mail tomorrow, I hope he will give me another week to get my finances back up. His suit might also share the same problem, beside the small hole in the fabric where I was waiting for a replacement part from my printer.

i wonder if he would have gotten in touch had it not been for this thread and the others over at the r.p.f etc. i would also be a little concerned about the "give me a week to get my finances up" line. he has your cash already why wait another week ? just shows though a little pressure here and there gets the job done. hope you guys get your suits and that they are great. one thing i dont understand though with webbing is why use urethane ? it cracks and breaks so easily. i would use a silicone such as dragon skin or platgel 10 that can stretch a thousand % and is realy tough. from what ive seen from most urethanes it gets brittle and cracks eventualy. the silicone will last 25 years before it starts to break down and you can glue it to suits with the same silicone.

Thank you for the kind words, i honestly thought i was being a bit to rude or maybe i am to nice of a guy? I just got the suit, and Ollie was not kidding when he said the suit is a bit on the tattered side, right out of the box one of the spiders legs fell off also some parts of the webs are just not there.... so i am in the middle of repairing as much of the suit as i can. Regardless of the fact that the suit is in a bit of dis-repair... it still looks Incredible.

I've never seen anyone who's managed to get every aspect of the creation of the suit so close to the original. The FIT of it is phenominal and again... despite the web and spider breakage... it could still fetch a VERY high re-sale price.

The suit dose look nice far away but close up the webs are falling apart pretty badly, also there are spots where there are just no webs at all paint chips off some glue is on the fabric of the suit. But Ollie was up front with the suit not being up to snuff so, i had an idea of what it might look like but this is a bit worse then i thought it would be. But i will Hold off till my replacement. And put my faith and trust in Ollie once more.

And i am pretty sure if one was to order there dream car lets say pay a huge amount of money. they finally pick up there car and find a few buttons are missing in the dash bored and your breaks are not in the best of shape your rear tail light is gone. I would think One would be in tittled to be a bit displeased. And if i where to sell the suit i am sure i would make some of my money back not all of it. Eatting a loss of over 300 dollars would not be something i am up for at all.

There are a couple of workarounds to get it in a suitable condition but it would be fiscally unfeasible consider how much cash you have already thrown down, the temp should be adequate for those gigs you'll do in the meanwhile Chazz until you're finished suit arrives plus you have the option of being able to sell this one and make something back.

as far as the glue i have to buy some more e6000 and see how it works out. If it can glue velcro to canvas and be bent 6 ways from sunday and not peal off then maybe it could work for the webbing on the suit. Or so i hope

i doubt anyone would notice the broken webbing, but if they do...just say u got into a fight with the goblin ;-) "battle damaged spidey"

i say if you can bulk up a little it would look simply amazing...
i'm jealous!!! grrrrrrr.

btw...does the suit have a 1 zipper system or the 3 zipper system in the back? and how's your visibility?

I will have to start working out again... my diet of cupcakes reallys isnt paying off so this year for Christmas i will ask Santa for muscles. And the suit is 2 Zippers they are well hidden :wow:
And i can see out of the lenses almost perfectly.... but looking at an LCD screen is a bit odd other then then vision is fine =)

I don't know if i get to keep it, it would be well taken care of i i have grown fond of it repair it over and over again lol. I have told Ollie of the problems i am having and he updated me with this.

Hi Chazz,

yes, that were my problems with the suit, your new one won't have this. I now learned that my mistake was to clean the mold with a high-pressure cleaner. Even though the mold dried properly (in my opinion) there was humidity left that caused a failure of the urethane while it hardened.
The gaps (or missing web parts) are caused by the webbing that have snapped back. Just push them back together and connect the ends with super glue. If you do a few hours before an appearance you shouldn't have problems with many webs breaking. And as I said, this is just a temporary solution. I will do my very best to have yours and Joshs new suit ready before christmas hopefully.
And can you tell me where the shell is too tight? Chin area maybe?
Do you mean the front spiders leg? Super glue helps. Glue it to the same position as the leg on the other side.

Best wishes
Ollie

I have asked him about glue i hope he has a answer for me because all the rubber baised glue i have used dose not seem to work so far.:csad:

The suit as is probably looks much better than any of screen suits did up close.:cwink:
If you get a "perfect" suit next time just put it on display. My opinion is these raised web suits are not made for wearing.

Glad everything worked out. Knew it would.

I am glad Gundam got his suit, Ollie still has not sent me a mask or a tracking #, here is what I got from him on the 10th of Nov.

Hi Josh,

I don't know what to write to explain how dumb I've acted. I also
wanted to contact you today and was trying to find the right words
when I saw your mail. I didn't know where to start, everything was
coming down on me the last weeks, every step I made on the costumes
went wrong. That never happened before in that dimension. Your mask
looks horrible, the webs are broken all over it. I have a new print
now and you will have the mask and undershell for the next weekend,
so you have a complete suit for now. You also will get a replacement
for the rest of the suit. It will take a while as I will start from
the beginning.

I hope this ok for you
Best wishes

[quote=Gundam;13231141]Thank you for the kind words, i honestly thought i was being a bit to rude or maybe i am to nice of a guy? I just got the suit, and Ollie was not kidding when he said the suit is a bit on the tattered side, right out of the box one of the spiders legs fell off also some parts of the webs are just not there.... so i am in the middle of repairing as much of the suit as i can. ( I hope Ollie really dose send the replacement.) this suit's shape is a bit of a let down

fresh out of the box.

I hope you hear something from Ollie soon, the last i heard from him was on the 13th. He has not replied since. I could really use the webbing and paint, the suit is falling apart just laying on a table as well as the paint pealing... i have been regluing the suit since i got it non stop.

In a message dated 11/14/2007 5:39:14 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,

Hi,

cool pics especially the posing.
Just use the same glue that you take for the connections. Reconnect the broken webs, put a drop of glue on a needle, lift the webs and apply the glue with the needle. Use as less glue as possible. I have some extra web parts that I'll send you, for the greater gaps, also some color for the webs. And there's no need to become desparate, the webs will keep on breaking, no matter what you do. I know it's annoying, but it's not for long.

Best wishes

Yes that is an Ollie suit but do not bid on it! Ollie is not selling that. Those are pictures from awhile ago. The reason he says he only wants $500 and to email him then is so he can take your money before the auction gets shut down! This ebay account was probably hacked, that's why he has good high feedback.

It's flexable enough for me but be careful not to get it on any fabric that you're not glueing things down to cause it makes it hard and unplyable, also be careful not to get it on your hands because it bonds instantly ( trust me, I know ).:oldrazz:

Actually, it's confirmed that he is simply a hacker. He hacks into other people

So did anyone ever hear from Ollie again (or get their orders filled)? I'm still waiting to hear the end to this story. I hope it has a happy ending. Maybe one where Ollie flies in on a helecopter to deliver the costumes, and then Toby Maguire rides in on a unicorn, and starts to party, and everyone gets to have free movie props and then Kirsten Dunst asks me to go back to her place, and then, ..... errr ...... I just hope it's a happy ending.

Hey!
Here's another angry customer of oliver.
I'm from germany and have been a quiet making-the-perfect-spidey-suit thread reader for a long time now already. when i saw ovdh's costume and realized he's from germany i decided to buy one. so after getting in contact with him i drove to worms (about 3-4hours away from my town) on the 11th July 2007 to give him the first 1000€ and let him take my measurements. he promised me to have the suit finished by end of august / beginning of september and also said that he might drive to my city to visit a friend of him, so he can give it to me personally. you all can imagine the rest of the story, after trying to call him and reach him for several times he finally got in contact with me around beginning november promising me another time that the costume will be send out very soon. because he delayed it so often already, i decided to drive there again and take the costume personally. 11th of November i arrived at his house in the afternoon and when i saw the costume on the mannequin it looked really great, but it also looked like he had just finished it some minutes ago. ok i gave him the remaining €1000and then i put the costume on and he already told me something about some costumes he made in the past that had problems with the webbing. ofcourse after putting it on there were some parts of the webbing broken and he had to glue them. after glueing them he told me to see and try if the webbing breaks again - and if it does i should send it back to him so he can replace the complete webbing.
After my 3-4hour travel back home i took the costume out of the box again and without even putting it on again i had to realize there were at least 10 parts of the webbing completely broken again. i called him the next day and told him, so he said i should send the costume back and he will replace the webbing. I was already a little unpatient and mistrustful so i asked him to do it within 1 week please. he said he will need 2 weeks, but after 2 weeks it will be finished for sure.
ok on 11th of november i sent out the costume to him, 2 days later he confirmed that it arrived at his place.
after 2 weeks he started delaying me again, he started writing a wierd message in ICQ about the complete costume needing to be replaced, but it was really wierd, i couldnt really understand it. anyway the message also said that he will drive to my city on 7th december and bring the costume.
on 7th / 8th december, when i tried to call him several times to ask whats up with my costume and he didnt answer, he wrote a mobile message to my cellphone saying sth. like he wont drive to my city but he will send out the costume in 2 days.
3 days later i tried to call him again several times, no answer, so i sent him a message to his cellphone telling him to give me the costume's package tracking number.... no answer. tried to call him again the next days, no answer - so i sent him a message that if the costume is not at my door the 29th december, i want my money back...
and guess what? im still waiting for a contact sign, no answer, no message, no nothing from him.
i wanted to avoid this, but right after christmas i will contact my lawyer to sort this out... i'm really p*ssed about ollie, i even tried to hook him up with a job in my city when i started having contact to him, because he said sth. like he wanted to move here - i was really nice to him.

so anyone who already has a broken OVDH costume, you better think twice before you send it back to him!!

I hear from ollie every once in a while, he informed me my next suit as well as joshes should be done in the new year that was on the 18th. I never see him on ICQ anymore i figured he was super busy...
I guess me an josh where not the only ones that had major webbing problems here is the e-mail Ollie shot me.

Hi,

I didn't make a good experience with magnetic lenses but it is possible to drill some holes for the nose. I have send you some of my glue and again some spare webbing, this time I made it signed for. I hope it will arrive. I already glued the webbing to the new print, but my seamstress closed his shop for christmas this week, so your new suit won't be ready before the second or third week of january, the same for Joshs suit.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas

so anyone who already has a broken OVDH costume, you better think twice before you send it back to him!!

anyone else have had contact to him the last week?

I have'nt heard from Ollie in a couple weeks, but I have'nt tried to contact him either. He told me my replacement costume would be ready by Christmas but that did'nt happen. I wase'nt to upset about it because when your dealing with Ollie you should'nt put expectations on the situation so we will see if he makes good on the replacement suit.:spidey:

I'd really like a Ollie costume.. but until all this nonsense blows over, I'll just wait.

Hope it turns out well for everyone, including myself.:woot:

yesterday, after still not getting any single contact sign from oliver, i had an appointment with my lawyer, and i am going to sue oliver.
im really sad i have to do this, but this guy owes me EUR2000 and does not seem to think he needs to write a mail about whats going on with my costume.
quite stupid not to answer someone you owe EUR2000 and who lives in your country if you ask me.
im sorry that i have to say this, but i really really regret having ordered the costume from oliver some months ago.
