What I find interesting is that I don't think alot of people knew that she was half black when she first came out, most of us were just saying "that white girl can sing!". But then after she divorced Tommy Mottola, more of that "black side" started coming out.

The New York Post is now also reporting that Mariah Carey has married Nick Cannon.

Carey married little-screen actor Nick Cannon at the home Carey just bought in Eleuthera, the Bahamas, a source close to the singer said.

"They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks," the friend said. "And she's always had a crush on him."

Unfortunately for her, the paper is reporting that Carey didn't make Cannon sign a prenuptial agreement.

"There was no pre-nup - there wasn't time," says a worried source.

And while Emancipation had this nice old school R&B feel.. I felt that E=MC2 is trying to be too main stream. Like "Bye Bye" for example. That should be a beautiful balled. Instead it has that horrendous crunkorwhatever beat.

Agreed. I scratched my first one up cause I listened to it so much. But then I got the Platinum edition.

E=MC2 is good but not as good as EMC.

Songs on E=MC2 that shows her rang is Istay In Love (the belting near the end), I wish you well, etc. I think I kinda take back what i said about it being better than TEOM. But it's pretty close. Ihear Lovin u Long Time is gonna be the 3rd single, IDK though. Bye Bye isn't doing too well right now so she needs to hurry. I have a feeling this will be another Diamond album for her in about 1 year and a half.
