I don't see why you guys think Galactus looked so bad in ROTSS, I mean you do know that the director put hints of the true look of Galactus in the cloud. He wanted to give him the full treatment in the SS spinoff, but only put small hints of him in ROTSS. I think it looks awesome, and found it pretty intimidating. That heavy ambience of Galactus nearing the earth and everything in the film was great.

Exactly dude, that's all I'm trying to say. A gigantic purple sentinel standing in space, may not have looked as right, even though that is his true look. It was a wise choice with the way they went in the film, although when people hear that Galactus is a cloud in ROTSS, they immediately go WTF? Totally easy to understand

I was being quite sarcastic by the way, and that rating didn't turn me away from seeing the movie. ROTSS was quite an improvement over F4, end of story, even if it didn't meet some high standards and expectations of those who were looking for their Spider-Man 2 of the franchise.

That is quite true, but don't you feel that the studios minds are somewhat more focused on box-office success a little bit more than making superb quality films like Spider-Man 2. I mean most of their films easily passed the 100 million mark (scratch Elektra though :down) F4: 330 mill. Ghost Rider 230 mill. S3 890 mill. X3 460 mill.

I think some franchises were doomed from the start and wouldn't have been great anyways (like Elektra & Punisher) but that doesn't keep people from wanting to see them. Sure they could have been better films but great comic book films don't come once a week, they kinda just come around once in a while. Fans are still gonna watch the films nonetheless. And theres no way you can please everyone, I think thats where this whole discussion about ROTSS comes in. Cause I was satisified w/ ROTSS, although I of course knew it could've been better film, obviously.

I think this goes for all kinds of other films out there like Star Wars, The prequels didn't live up to their expectations and the standards set from the later episodes, which were probably pretty damn high. But people still went to go see them and just accepted them. Same with superhero films I think, Ghost Rider - - - > Never been on film. But hey this guy is a fan and still wants to watch it. It wasn't a Spider-Man 2 or a Superman, but he probably left satisfied, at least right?
