These days, the chicks from across the pond are belting tunes better than our own females over here, to be honest. Granted, Winehouse seems to have suffered for her art, but when she's on her game, she's on.

I think Amy Winehouse has the best voice, but I hate looking at her, so if I ever go to one of her gigs, I'm wearing a blindfold

The "urban" (read: black folks) stations over here are playing this song to death. Once you cross over to the black audience you're soul. :o

Of the 4 listed, Natasha is the only one I don't own any album by. In fact, I have every album released by the other 3.

I'm gonna have to go with Joss Stone. That last CD of hers was just on.

Amy whinehouse as a music artist is brilliant, her music is amazing and very powerful. Back to Black is easily one of the best albums of 2007.

Bailey's voice is pleasant, but weak as hell.

Her music puts me to sleep.

This poll is pretty representative of the poor amount of female r n b stars out there at the moment

That's cuase here in the USA, everyone is trying to sound alike and not be themselves. Plus execs are only trying to copy the next artist instead of letting them be themselves. It happens more times than not. I can honestly say that the only good R&B singers to come out in the last couple of years that kind of go against the grain, you can count on one hand.............Alicia Keys and John Legend. All the other american artist sound a like. Don't get me started on rap music! :o
