Hey guys! As you can see I'm working on a Wasp manip, but I'm still working out the kinks and I need some questions and feedback from you guys.

1. Which design do you like better?
2. I'm still learning photoshop, and kinda rusty with it, so I need your help on how to smooth things out without making them blurry. I want to add a smoke background; which I already learned how to do; but how do I even out the edges and clean things up?
3. What would you change/add?

I like the 2nd design better for the Wasp, seems more like a corset, instead of the shoulder strap design. I'm a basic photoshopper myself, and so far, it what you have is looking pretty well.

I think I would add some yellow into the top of the boots, to break up all the one color-ness.

looks like you got a blending setting on the yellow layers set to emboss (correct me if im wrong) my advice for manips: DONT EVER USE EMBOSS!!!! makes it look more fake, try to blend it in with brushes or by feathering the edges (prob best to do that manually using eraser toold set to 8% opacity and going click happy till you get a nice fade)

keep going with antman, looks boss so far, altho I would suggest not to use the same hand twice on one piece, looks too semetrical

Nice Odiin! *Grumble* I hope to hell they don't cast McConaughey as a walking symbol of our nation. He's such a pompous pretty boy. This is not a witty romantic comedy set in the Caribbean; he has no reason to be in it. Captain has two sides- a rugged all-american likeness, but also a hardened soldier who can take orders, not lounge in the sun. Cast someone like Mark Valley, Matt Damon, or even Tatum, who have that winning Middle-American smile, but can still kick ass and actually LOOK like soldiers. I'm sorry to rant. I just really hate McConaughey.

On a side-note: Wouldn't Ty Burrell make an AWESOME G-Man, if they ever did a Half-Life movie?

Thank you, borkis. It's refreshing to see a fellow fan of Ant-Man. Well I made posters out of the other avengers too, using Spidey-dude's Thor and Hulk, and the official Iron Man pic. But I wanted to get a visual of the other characters, too. So I made the Ant man, and I'm making a Wasp one, but I DARE not touch Captain. Lol!

I wouldnt call it bad, but it definitely works more for Bats than Cap. The pic is awesome as far as how you changed it but i dont like the design

Id rather see a simpler design with basic material than Bale's jigsaw bat suit

Thanks. Actually it is Bale's mouth. Just from a different photo. I had to add a nose because the Batman mask covers it but Cap's doesn't, so I added a new nose & mouth from another picture of Bale. Not that I want Bale to play Cap, i just did it since it was already him in the photo.

That's exactly why Captain America could be played by an older actor... if they mix up the origin... write him in as a young corporal that has already risen in the army ranks and is around 30 before undergoing the experiment... you can replace Uncle Sam with a poster like that... that would be pretty cool. Its better for the solo film instead of Avengers though.

It needs a bit of touch up, especially the edges, plus a bit of Color and Luminance balance, but here's what I got so far. The Thor and the Hulk is Spidey-Dude's work. Iron man is the official design. Cap is from Ultimate Alliance and Ant-man and Wasp are my own design.

I went with a more Samuel L Jackson-SHIELD-outfit approach; and I was gonna give him a bow slung in his right hand, but couldn't get the depth quite right. Plus, if they added Hawkeye in the movie as a SHIELD agent; why would you have a modern-day soldier wielding a bow? Why not introduce him as a crack-shot sniper or what-not. Then give him a bow and more flamboyant costume in the sequel. That's Jamie Bamber btw. I personally would rather Eric Christian Olsen, but I couldn't find a head with the right hair, so I used my second choice

All I can say is these manips are pretty sad... We still got three years so I'll give you people a pass. Not that I can do better... nice First Avenger poster though... but I don't like the tag line... should be somthing like "When the world needed a hero". Need to personalize or individualize it. I don't want to get cliche and all but we need a better tag line than that. Not bad at all though.

Don't you think make him older and already a soldier takes away from the origin? What I've always loved about Cap's origin was that he was a man so dedicated to the American cause, that he was willing to do whatever it took to be a part of it. He was rejected from the army, and that troubled him so much that he was willing to partake in an experiment.

It adds so much more drama if he's a flawed man before the experiment, and then only afterwards is able to achieve perfection.

I absolutely adore that captain america poster, Hobo. If I could make a suggestion, though, I'd swap the positions of "Captain America" and "The First Avenger." "Captain America" looks a bit like it's a sub-title, there. Other than, I would be pleased to see that in a theater.

All very cool stuff there Virus. I especially like Thor, Black Widow, and the Ant Man helmet. The problem I have with your Cap is that it seems too...pedestrian, almost. It looks like the kind of things anybody with access to that type of uniform could make. There needs to be something truly unique about Cap to make him stand out as the American symbol, much in the same way that Superman does.

I can respect that and honestly to a degree I agree with you. The biggest reason I chose that body is that it's the proto type future soldier body armor and with cap being the ultimate soldier I thought it fit. oh and I updated a version of the cap with blonde hair, I may try a mask later.

Was bored tonight and was inspired to do this. Not my best work, it seems a little busy, but it was fun to do. The casting in no way represents who I would want to play these parts, I was thinking more along the lines of looks and just wanted names to make it look more like a poster.
