A thread for us non American posters who feel alienated on this board to talk about their own political issues or give a different view on the presidential race considering who wins will be the most powerful leader on the planet.

To start off I'm a pro life liberal who really doesn't fit into a lot of political catagories. If I could vote in the presidential election I would choose Obama because although he doesn't fit all my ideological catagories i think he has the charisma to improve international perception of the states. No way i would choose Clinton. Her behaviour running up to new hampshire was manipulative and transparent. As lightning_strykez said, crocodile tears.

As for my own country well the Labour Party sucks, they have always been corrupt as are all of the parties. The party began representing the workers and ever since they elected etonian Tony has been becoming more and more conservative. I'm leaning towards the liberal party even though they have no chance of winning any election because they really represent the underclass and their scandals are far more enjoyable.

I really know very little about England's political situation.
I do know that Margaret Thatcher was about as right wing as Ronnie was.
I have never understood the need in politics to form "parties" and then stick with these parties until the end.
there's dozens of them here in Mexico, it's ridiculous a lot of people as evidenced by politics in the US vote the parties instead of the person into power.
if we started voting competent, intelligent people into power instead of media-friendly clones and puppets into higher offices we'd be better off altogether.

I don't like really any of a parties at the moment, none of them would get my vote at this moment in time.
