just saw the pic. I have to say, its alot grosser than i thought they would do. Its pretty disturbing, I thought they were keeping two face hidden as a surprise, but I think they arent showing him to the public is that if he looks like that pic, it would turn people away. Honestly, it looks like something out of a horror film. And its definently concept art, the cloths are not the same color as the ones in the trailer.

Actually I just listened to it again just now, that is definitely Joker's voice I think, if you listen to his line afterwards "It's simple" If you listen to the "it's" it has the same deep sound to it. I think its definitely the Joker.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the action figure. As you can see his hand is scarred here, which it apparently isn't (at least not to that extent) in the movie.

the scarring on the figure and trailer are different, the trailer has teh scars go onto the noce and the lips while the figure avoids thsoe areas completely.
So i wouldnt base the leak with the figure, both seem off when compared to the only official piece we have

It most defintely is the Joker. His voice does jump, but it is pure Ledger. I don't think they'll be showing any dialog. I do agree that they're separate sentences and just sounds like they can be intertwined.

I guess (hope) it might be just a concept art and not the final look. Warner was much faster in the past regarding "leaks". And still today I think we will not see a full clear shot of Harvey. We know he is scared, but we will only be teased. Maybe a glimpse, but in the shadows. If not, what will be the hype to the third? New suit? New Batmobile? And for obvious reasons we will not get Joker in the third. I think they SHOULD keep it secret until the third. This is the Joker movie. Next will be Two Faces. That's the way I would like it, anyway.

The Two-Face toy pictured was from the 5" line. The line that the cartoon Joker came from. If they have to tone down the Joker, there is no way they are going to sculpt the Two-Face figure accurately.

That burned chicken look is IMO right after. When everything is scabbed up. I think if the character is around long enough it will have the purple tone to it once the scabs fall off.

i'm going to be honest and say that i don't think this is real. I like the direction, but two things throw me off.

1. the burning on the chin that we see in the trailer extends further to the left side than the one in the leaked photo.

2. its too badly made. it looks like a manip rather than a still from genuine cgi. i don't think nolan would allow for this to be in his film. the teeth are too clean, same with the eyes.

i think it could be concept. and i hope it is, i love its direction, its just not very polished.

that wud be really sweet if it was a gradual transition onscreen, possibly even into film 3 ending up wit all the scabbing off and the purple scar tissue look and maybe even the two tone suit added at that point

I knew a guy who fell in a big fire. His arm scabbed up all nasty like that and long after it had really uneven flesh tones. So they are being pretty real with that.

Well, it's definately supposed to be "early" concept art according to the end all, b-all of all things Batman, Jett. :whatever: His insider that reported Joker was supposed to be dressed like a homeless man says this was early concept work around the same time he saw early concepts of Joker's outfit. We'll get something close, but this is not what we'll see.

Dunno if I have much faith is what Jett's insider has to say about it though...can't really show proof that Joker was going to be dressed in rags.

It has to be fire. Acid doesn't char, it disolves and corodes

Well I remember when he came out with that supposed "newsflash" and then the very next day, a spy pic from Chicago made its way online showing Joker in the Slaughter semi-truck wearing the purple trench coat. Then he came out to "clarify it was concept info" he was reporting on :whatever:

I seriously doubt that the end result will look like this.
1. Its confirmed concept.
2. The anatomy is off. The muscles that pull the lip run around it and the connect those muscles towards the cheek bone. There is not one that goes up and down like that. If the use CG for shots they will model after actual anatomy to keep the movements and look real.

They might have tissues connecting here and there but I don't believe it will appear like this.

I understand it's just concept art...but I was expecting a little...better. Obviously it's gonna be a different effect when it's moving pictures but I'm getting a Mummy vibe when I'm looking at it. It is definately extreme, in your face and all, my gripe is that when you remove SOOO much and strip it down that bare...you almost remove the humanity from it, I'd be happier with it if there was a little more of a recognizability to harv. Of course...concept art...this has probably been adapted 20 times over since this was done. Hey...I've read about 200 posts about permawhite and the crow joker and all this other bull about what I consider the best adaptation of the joker we'll likely see on screen so you'll forgive me over what I consider, as a working graphic designer/art director in an ad agency...forgive me for NOT being blown away.
