Wow, USC is leading the worst of the SEC? That's kind of surprising. I figured it'd be the Bulldogs. :o

If we were talking NFL, NBA, and MLB I would say NY. They have only liked the Yankees when they are winning. The Knicks they boo every night. Oh and the SB wildcard champ giants were HATED by the fans, in particular they wanted Eli's head on a stick. However they win the SB and now they can stand by them. BARF

NY, worst fans ever!

I agree

and i am a Miami Dolphins FAN

but the people down there just dont go to games, and dont drum up any interest in the teams. It's a shame.

a friend of mine who's a Bengals fan went to a game in a Bengals jersey and someone threw a glass bottle at his head.

Later in the parking lot someone hit him with their car.....they didn't run him over but they like, drove into him and he says it hurt.

again, i say vicious.

But still dedicated and loyal.

Yup Marlins attendance suck... the Heat's attendance is abysmal.. the only good year they had was when Shaq first got there.. even the defending year they didnt sell out..

Now there are a LOT of other things to do in Miami then sit in heat and watch losing football and baseball teams. But if the Marlins built a new stadium in down town Miami, where people actually live, perhaps they will get a lot more fans.

Though how Alabama doesn't take the cake, I won't understand.

Even if the fans are nice (which I HAVE heard reports of great hospitality) they are undoubtedly crazy.

are we grading fans on niceness? or passion and loyalty? Certainly i'd say Bama has passionate loyal fans. But most big time colleges, with prestigious football teams do.

Cant use that excuse... WE(L.A.) sit in the HEAT all summer long to watch a LOSING Dodgers team... and there's TONS of stuff to here... and people from all the QUAD counties show up.. and traffic is a nightmare... but we still make it :word:

99% of the Ohio State fans I've encountered are quite delusional. Mainly for the fact they continuously proclaim how the Buckeyes are better than any SEC team.

Miami has 125 straight sellouts (147 if you want to include the playoffs) going back to February 05. In Shaq's first year, they went from 24th to 4th in attendance, were 4th in the championship season, 5th last year and 6th now. How is that abysmal?

We're due for another World Series run in the next year or two. That'll set them up into the middle of next decade.

Actually, I'm surprised the city is still talking with them about building a new stadium. Yeah, that's really worth razing the Orange Bowl over.

I remember watching Jordan's last game ever, and it was at Philly, and I thought for sure he would be booed. But Philly fans surprised me and gave him a standing ovation.

You act like you've never heard NY is known for this behavior. No other city has the extreme hatred for their own team when not playing great than NY, and that's for just about every sport :o

LOL they even hated the Giants for most of the year, even when they hit the playoffs :D

And I'm from NY.

But I still think Philly is worse.
