well i havent seen mad max in awhile, but it was clearly one of the influences. i havent seen the road warrior or beyond thunderdome, but i think those are probably heavier influences. along with the escape carpenter movies and a buttload of other movies. it's more than just a reference to those movies though.

it has all kinds of ****. it was just ****in cool. the further it went on the crazier it got and they really piled on the gore. and some of it was just ****in hilarious. i had a great time =D

i think they tried to play up the movies it referenced too much in the trailer. the trailer doesnt do it justice. i was willing to see it no matter what because of niel marshall. i love the body of work he is building.

and this movie was pretty ambitious. he did a whole hell of a lot on a 30 million dollar budget.

just dont take it too seriously and i think you'll like it a lot. especially if you love wild **** and tons of gore. and i do =)

the editing kinda sucked. but it didnt really hurt the movie much. but i definitely recommend it, especially if u have the right mindset going in. a lot of people hated it though and it got mediocre reviews. i thought it was cool though. a good time :up:

Yeah I was in Calgary a few years ago and asked what I should pack in terms of clothing, and people were like, "Don't pack until a day before" since the weather changes ALL the time. Crazy. :wow:

Usually I'd feel the same and I can understand that you don't want to harm anyone, but you were nice and showed common courtesy to them; those sorts of numb skulls don't deserve to participate in this campaign if they're gonna be a bunch of @$$ holes about it. This is supposed to be fun for all the fans that support the movie, but it's severly messed up that someone has to give you a hard time and ruin it just because they may have a bad day or even unfortunatly feel that they can. I'd report it if I were in your shoes.

But that's just my oppinion though Mary; I don't want to pressure you into anything you fell uncomfortable with:oldrazz:
