it's a small 2 story building. the bosses are upstairs and the workers are downstairs. there's a narcotics room where they keep the stronger stuff, there's a place where they pack EDKs (emergency drug kits), the aisles of all the drugs, the unit dose room (where they package drugs) and then the place where the data people put data into the computers.

they get orders from boy's homes, old folks homes and all that kinda stuff. whatever clients they have. but it's places like that. and then they send us all the names of the meds, so my main job is to take a basket and do what they call picking and packing. but i call it shopping. because basically you have a basket and a list of labels. you look at the labels and go through these aisles and get these drugs. get the right number of pills, vials, patches, whatever. and then you take the basket to the counter and you properly apply the labels and package the drugs. super boring, i know. which is why i wasnt gonna talk about it at all.

but that's basically it. i don't expect i'll find myself talking about my job much because it's utterly uninteresting to me. but i've found it to be pretty tolerable thus far.
