And word! But I seriously made a decision last week I'm gonna do this music ****, no matter what. So I'm gonna tour through PA and pay you a visit one of these days.

You guys will have a very pleasant life together, I'm sure! :woot: And same for me when I frequent Florida, dude.

As for music: DO IT. Music still dominates and inspires my every move in life. I always eventually want to make a comeback to it even though it never fully went away. I don't play regularly, but still. Do it, man. Music and acting go hand-in-hand for me, because they've both done something for me: inspired. Return the inspiration, dude. :up:

I sincerely apologize for the hideous recording of this. It's a band called Girls on Stilts and it's ALL improv. Nothing is planned. Me, my cousin (on keys) and our friends Corey (guitar) and JP (bass) would simply get together in my basement and record onto a tape deck for kicks. Some of it is actually fairly decent though. "Dry Vodka Martini" is probably the best tune, but "Buy This (And Love It)" has some tasty drumming. Again, this was all improv and strictly to see how "out there" we could get. Again, sorry for the primitive recording. You certainly don't have to listen to it all the way haha, but there's some decent drumming and stuff in there anyway.

No name yet. When we formed I called my friend and said "You have no choice, you're joining this band and we're gonna rock it to Russia" and then he was like "DUDE! That should be the band name! Rock it to Russia! But spelled like ROCKET to Russia!" And I was like "That's a Ramones album..." and he was like "Dammit!". haha, so no suggestions so far. I kinda like Or Your Money Back or A Reason For Fiction/Reasons For Fiction, but both are kinda emo sounding haha. And thanks for the compliments. They really do mean alot. :O:heart:

yea, my friend (whos band broke up around the same time as mine) and i have been trying to get somthing started up, his older brother is an awesome vocalist and my friend being a guitarist, all we need is a good drummer.

which is hard in this city because everyone wants to be a guitar superstar, so good drummers are hard to come by.

also with him working full time and i working and going to school, planning to move out kinda slows down the process of starting a band even more so then it normally is.

Well, the progression comes after that. It's a very simple guitar part and melody, and part of the problem is I have no idea where to go with it from there. Something like what Shoe suggested might work. Maybe use it as an intro then go into a verse with an actual progression. Then a chorus, then verse, etc. Kinda use it as a one time kinda intro thing, maybe.

It was all part of the game. When Bats is talking to Superman at the end of Hush, he says he dug up Tommy's grave and found traces of Clay. That was Clayface in the alley. Read it again, it'll make a little more sense.
