He would have wanted to kill him anyway. I mean, c'mon..."Give me the cube, and you may live to be my pet."?!? It's doubtful after being KEPT frozen by the little pink maggots for so many decades that Megs would have been THAT negotiable. The second Sam would hand him the cube, Megs would chuck him into the pavement below like a loogie.
