Why is that I'm hearing he's not going to be in the show? What's the embargo due to?

Daredevil/Fox owning the rights.
Are you freaking kidding me? That really sucks... Kingpin is such a great spidey villain. Sure, he was overused in the 90s, but still, he should be in the picture.
Stupid Fox...:cmad:

Yup thats the reason fox still owns the rights to kingpin/daredevil so other studios cant use it. Maybe down the road if the show last a few seasons maybe they could get the rights to use him.

I really dont mind. Dont get me wrong I like Kingpin, but liek you said he was really overused in the 90s series. Theres plenty of other mob/crime bosses they can and are using.

Fox are idiots, they are denying us the Kingpin in a great animated Spidey show so they can use him for their sucky Daredevil movies.

Not really, it had some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Ben Affleck? Get real.

Nope, pretty decent film :oldrazz:Ì agree, the director's cut was good. The theatrical version was decent. Don't agree on the casting decisions but hey, you gotta deal with what you have.

Not really, it had some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Ben Affleck? Get real. I've seen pretty bad acting and Ben was decent at best, but not horrible. They could have definitly gotten someone a hell of a lot better. Have you even seen the Directors Cut?

yea regular cut is crap the director's cut is way better. I do agree ben wasnt the best person to play matt but he did ok. But i didnt really know much about the character when i first saw the film so i thought the film was ok.

(just messing around, no offense to ya SMH12 :oldrazz:) No offense taken, Venom 1988. Also, to be honest, I never saw the Directors cut of Daredevil. I mean, the regular version was okay, but defenitley was not awesome. :yay:

I just hate that movie but....Jennifer Garner is hot so I guess that'll give me a reason to watch it if it airs on TV.

are you guys sure that fox/daredevil is the reason???? because he was in the last spidey series which was made by sony....or did they strike a deal (hence him being black and voiced by mcd) If so why couldn't they strike a deal this time???

well yes that is the main reason for no kingpin and the producers probably didnt want to go through all the hassle of legal trouble getting the rights. They said they have a certain budget for the show and that is one of the reasons for the animation style.
