I'm pretty certain there's three different bike bots. Arcee is fully transformed in the screenshot above - she doesn't have legs, but moves around on her wheels like Gizmoduck from 'Ducktales'.

These are actually fan made viral videos from before the first movie put on the old sector 7 viral marketing site....They are really cool, but you won't see anything resembling those bots in the movie. (the insecticon that sam breaks apart in the trailer is more the bay style.)

Jetfire isnt one of the older Transformers in the comics though, he is no older than any of the others, THIS is what I am complaing about, why make him all decrepid when he wasnt in the comics?

i, personally, think it's a great idea as long as they're coming up with different ways to do it. Bonecrusher, Demolisher, Arcee....all of them have wheels for feet but they're designed differently.

This Jetfire should probably be more closely associated with the cartoon version, not the comics.

In the cartoon, Jetfire was stranded on Earth long before the other transformers arrive. Sort of implies he's not that young.

I think I read something like that too. I also read a rumor that Wheelie is the one who finds Jetfire. (it may have been somewhere on these boards)

Looking at the back of the packaging of Wheelie's toy: it says 'Autobot Wheelie', but the description says he listens to the Decepticons because he's so frightened of them. Maybe since he finds Jetfire, they both decide to align with the Autobots due to being "looked down on" by the Decepticons. Wheelie for being so small, and Jetfire for being "too old and wounded". Maybe Jetfire sort of looks out for Wheelie as well.

It's not fact, it's just a thought based on rumors that I've read. What do you guys think?

I'm referring to the newer comics, I know in the old one's he was young, but in the new one's, he isnt portrayed as especially old, needing a walking stick, etc.

after seeing this picture, i'm fairly certain that it's fan made. the image quality of Sam and Mikaela is significantly worse than the rest of the poster, that image of Prime just fades into the background as if the person didn't really know what to do with him, and the composition just doesn't flow well.

not to mention, the font/lettering at the bottom isn't parallel with the bottom edge of the poster.

Simple, you look at pictures of blurry Transformer shots, You study the red and blue squiggles and retrieve from past conditioning that 3D pictures look like this. Thus concluding that Transformers in 3d is cool.

Actually, you can see his face in tank mode. It's just below the cannon.
Also cool to see that the cannon becomes his right arm. Much better.

I can run you off a list of characters in different TF toylines that never made it to the shows.

And some of them are pre-exsisting characters that got upgrades in the toyline but those upgrades were never seen on the shows.

So I say again....a toy in the movie line is in no way proof that any character will be in the movie.

Orci has said on his site he will be in it.

First of all Orci cant be trusted any further then you can throw him.

But I wasnt doubting that we will see Megatron.

I'm pretty sure we will.

But what I'm saying is that having a toy in the movie toyline is not proof that he will be in the movie.

It is, which is my point. Besides being rusted over and weather-worn, Megatron's face is exactly the same as it was in the last film. So censoring out the toy's face is futile, especially when this toy captures none of that beaten quality in the paint job.

If you're talking about the G1 cartoon movie, you're right. I the previous Bay movie though, he used it twice. Once when freeing himself from the ice, and again to attack Sam while he was on the roof with the Allspark.

I just watched the episode right after my post and it wasn't really how I remembered it in my head :whatever: but still, even if prime didn't got distracted I still think megs would have kicked his ass. and just seconds earlier megs had the upper hand, standing on primes hands.

If anything, Jetfire should sound like a more gruff version of Sonny from I, Robot. Jetfire is a Transformer all about logic, fact and calculation, therefore he should sound like a professor more than anything IMO.
