It looks like the Decepticon symbol is being shattered, for what it's worth..

If so, the Decepticons could be splintering? And if true, could the treatment be looking more likely?


In the second issue of the Transformers: Movie Prequel distributed by Target stores online, Wreckage was revealed to be among the Decepticons commanded by Starscream who came to Earth. Wreckage was the first of them to scan an Earth vehicle form, and was seemingly killed, or at least severely disabled, by a sneak attack from Sector-7 soldiers using an EMP weapon. The other Decepticons made short work of the humans and left Wreckage behind.

In "Reign of Starscream" is was revealed that Wreckage had survived and was working with Sector 7.

That may not be quite true, it is possible that he leaked these pics to another person at the same time as you getting it, so this other person has now decided to leak these because the other guy wont be providing anymore info. I know he said that you were the only one that he provided info for, but can you be sure that he was telling the truth?

I thought Megs was going to look more like his generation 1 frame in the sequel. This is very disappointing. His design in the first Transformers film looked better than this. Now I'm scared that soundwave and the rest of the new transformers will look like crap. If soundwave is unrecognizable I may skip watching this film in the theater.

I wouldn't mind if he looked like this. It's not too far off from the first much, just upgraded amour. I doubt it's going to be the final design. He had Brawl/Devastator as a tank already.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see any other recognizable parts of the tank on him than the tank treads? The armor of the tank isn't as rounded as it is on Megatron.

Yeah Megs at the top left wasn't even the final design for Megs in the movie, so i wouldn't be too worried yet, although i do like that new alt mode.

The tank mode I can live with, atleast it has some relation to the comics. And like mMark said this is just a concept, we got a different Megs in the first movie to the first concept that was leaked so I wouldn't worry to much just yet, although I was kinda hoping for more flat solid looking bulk on him like the Autobots so he doesn't have that same jaggered crumple look from his Cybertronian mode.

The tank mode Megatron is interesting. He looks a lot more humble than last we saw him, with his sleek alien jet mode and complete arm. Hopefully, he's more of a schemer in this sequel. The Long Haul concept's interesting, too. It makes me wonder how big of a scale we're talking about for Devastator.

Scorponok was actually an attachment of Blackout so I'd take a guess that when Blackout scanned the MX it was to incorporate Scorps into its make up.

Can someone confirm this? Remember in the first movie, when Megatron formed the cannon by slamming both his arms together. When he is shot at by Optimus, he makes a quick spin, and the cannon is on one arm. Was his other arm real thin like that, due to him pulling the metal from his other arm to form the weapon?

Yes, but my initial point is that Bay claimed the size of the alt mode being scanned has to be relevant to the size of the robots mass. Prime can't scan and become a WV Bug, because it's too small a vehicle for his mass. All this is according to Bay's rules about Transformers, not mine. So if Scorponok is allowed to scan a scorpion, and use that as his alt mode, then why did Bay make Scorponok an exception to the rule....?

Well you have to remember that he's an alien tank. So chances are he'll be able to do things that a normal tank wouldn't be able to do. But as a whole? I like the look so far. I just hope we get some actual screen time/development between him and Starscream.

I understand your perspective and somewhat agree with it. However, I was under the impression that Blackout choose his design in the desert from a helicopter that was shot down. So it makes sense that Skorpnok's mode resulted from something scanned in the desert. I'm sure that at some point Skorpnok realized that his alt mode was conspicuous and he would have to hide in the sand. SKorpnok's mode may have simply been the result of a mistake that turned out to be irrelevant. Why is he still a cybertronian form? Total lack of courage on the film maker's part if you ask me. He could never have logically been the iconic handgun so make him everything and nothing recognizable at the same time? I could buy it for the first movie. Even tell myself it made sense to the character. That he would be above adapting an earth design. But after establishing how easily human machinery could kill transformers it makes zero sense for him to continue to be an alien design that sticks out so obviously. That is unless he is never on earth again, or is so minor i dont care, or the form is forced on him, or Bay invents some kind of alien force field bull, or he just plans on living out eternity in a cave. All I know is... the character despises all things humans. Ok, that I get. But I never saw Megatron as being just plain stupid.

That being said i'm sure it will be pretty when that gun vaporizes a mountain or something.

Looks like they are gonna use the old Bumblebee custom built model, and modify it via CG if they need to. Need to show the new front end, and any updates to the character. I think/hope that they are going to flesh out the robots more this time around. Add more of the outer body to their bot modes to help differentiate between them in big fast action scenes. I didn't have a problem, but I am sure some people did.

Take the recent confirmation of Devastator ( he HAS to be huge ). Prime on his own wont even stand a chance against him. He'll probaly ask JetFire to help him and combine with him to make it a bit easier to tackle Devastator.

It may be a taboo thing and dangerous. Some Decepticons may have dedicated their lives to the art and as a result, there's Devastator. Prime is willing to put his life on the line, and Jetfire may be in a similar position to do so.

This is absolutely atrocious.

I haven't seen the actual leaked pic, but judging by this pic, the head placement makes me think that Jetfire won't be as intelligent as the other bots; he'll be somewhat of a mindless drone kinda like Scorponok was; and if ppls guesses about him being Prime's backpack/trailer are true, this further adds to me theory.

This 'thing' could be Shockwave. This is a complete waste of the Jetfire character.

I've seen the leaked Legend class toy for Jetfire. The drawing is not too far off actually. It gives the basic aesthetic.

Hopefully, since Legend class toys are so small, they're inaccurate representations of the final look for Jetfire. In the photo, the toy also happened to look slightly mis-transformed.
