I agree... and I don't agree. I don't think it will ever be as popular as it was in the 90s... but I don't think it will ever go away. It has too much commercial appeal for it to totally disappear. Though the newfound appreciation for classic rock amongst today's youth due to Guitar Hero and Rockband is certainly adding a nail to the coffin.

When bands like Nickelback are selling 6 million records for their latest garbage disc, while other more talented bands can't make a dent on any chart, would you say rock is dead too?
