I'm particularly surprised that Garcetti has not done anything yet against Dent's campaing. Ok, he attacked him and the incident at Rossi's Deli, but since then Dent has become the favorite among the candidates, the dirty cops have been arrested and the Joker attacked again. I mean, what is he up to? We don't know for sure if he is Iceman, but whoever Iceman is, he seems to be hiding or... planning.

I would expect the next Dent update to roll around at about the same time as the next Joker update, since this new trailer makes it blatantly obvious that J is aligned with the mob. I smell a fictional conflict brewing. :U

That makes sense, but I don't know how commited 42 is to following the movie plot. I mean, in the viral storyline, Harvey Dent is still running for Gotham DA but in the movie he already is the DA. And the new trailer shows the Joker addressing what seems to be mob bosses, proposing a solution to them. It's like they're in the beginning of something. If that is the case, then in the viral storyline the Joker is possibly only messing around, starting to spread chaos, which will grant him an offer by the bosses.

So, I believe two things are possible: either the Joker has been acting by himself and the events so far will cause the mob bosses to request his help (Alfred's line in the teaser, ".. in their desperation they turned to a man they didn't fully understand" supports that) OR he is already working for one of the bosses, who will then introduce him as the new Messiah for Gotham's criminals during the movie.

Mr sticks n' jaffa cake: the cache on your browser holds a copy of whereever you browsed up to a certain date. That date, expiration date, is only on your browser, and doesn't mean technically anything on the happy trails site.

so, for an experiment, refresh the page and check the expiry date, and it should change. :)

I'll provide a slightly more technical explanation. It's not so much to do with code, but the HTTP protocol.

Expires is one of the (many) HTTP headers. Basically it's used to stop excessive requests on a page. When your browser requests page X, it will check the HTTP header. Now if the current time is BEFORE the Expires time, then your browser will grab the page from cache, if it's AFTER, it will pull down the page from the remote server again.

Mmmm.... no. The expiration date will update if you refresh the page. It is info for you computer to know when to fully refresh, or to just refresh from your cache. It has nothing to do with when the page will be updated by 42.

Doesn't seem like 42's style, they've always want to hold out until there are a ton of us refreshing every two seconds with baited breath... I can't think of anything major, anything at all really, that they've let slip in a midnight/early morning release.

Is that there is an asterix before the whole "See what you've..." thing.

Now if my memory serves me right, when an asterix is before a sentience then that would mean that it denotes that somewhere in a paragraph there is a reference. or the other way around...the asterix is in the front of the sentience to point out that it's a foot note to a marked paragraph.

And I think that it's pointing out that it's a clue (maybe) of some sort. because asterix's function is to flag the reader to notice the foot note of the paragraph, If i remember right.
