Hawkeye and Black Widow should be pretty easy. Hawkeye you need to show him using guns and improvised objects like paperclips and small children along with his bow and arrows. Black Widow must have a russian accent. What happened to Swank in IM anyway? Or is she in the Hulk?

Pym could be set-up as a collegue or even another competitor. He reduces the size of circutry needed in IM's suit, ha ha.

Also is the entire concept of 'mutants' actually owned by Fox? You can withhold the fact that they're Magnetos children but can you intro Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch and still connect them to genetic gifts and possibly even a mutant team or school without getting into trouble? Intro the supporting Avengers gradually and you won't have to waste so much time in the big Avengers movie.

While at the site and taking some readings... a strange figure appears on a nearby hilltop, with long golden hair, a cape, and a huge hammer. He says "What is your purpose?" The credits roll...

For supporting characters, I think they should add a love interest like Bethany Cabe. They can have a four way love triangle there with Cabe, Stark, Hogan, and Potts. Not to make it a full blown soap episode. But it works well. Stark gets jealous that Potts is dating Hogan... starts drinking. He ends up getting so drunk that he embarrasses Potts at her birthday party or something. He goes home and starts drinking some more. Then this new chick Bethany Cabe helps him overcome his drinking problems, and they start falling for each other. Eventually Stark realizes that Pepper is better off with Hogan and stays with Cabe in the meantime... or just have them break up at the end... but it would be cliche having Stark end up with Potts. Oh and have Justin Hammers as a replacement for Obadiah Stane as the business rival tycoon for future setups.

Now that Jon is a lock to come back (or so we think) I think he can both direct and give his character a bigger role. Bethany Cabe is a long time love interest that helps Stark overcome his alcohol problems. I am suggesting she should be in it because it will work well if they do the whole alcoholism perspective.

Ant Man isn't a very popular and well liked character in the MU, imo.

Since it appears that Marvel is going with The Ultimates version of the Avengers, they should definitely have Mr. and Mrs. Pym in Iron Man 2. Janet's name was already mentioned in TIH so let's not stop there. They're scientist and they can meet Tony while he's researching something, anything.

Now, since I brought up TIH, we know there was a small Thor reference regarding the storm. We can see Tony having a business meeting (dinner) with a really big blonde guy. These are just some quick thoughts.

The bottom line for me is that Henry and Janet need more screen time from the more popular characters like Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America so they can have an impact on the Avengers movie...unless Henry and Janet won't have that big of a part than we thought. :word:

From the interviews with RDJ, it seems like not only does he have beaucoup pull with the franchise, but that he wants it grounded in reality. He apparently is helping in writing and shaping the sequel, so I can see him tut-tutting a Thor appearance.

Hulk as Bruce Banner is the best idea I see here. Of course, Nick Fury being back would be cool too... I don't know about Captain America though. Until he gets cast, I think subtle references to him should be left out.

I don't think any SHIELD agents outside of Fury should appear in this, or ever.
