Got back about an hour ago for my third time.

Saw it Friday night with my friend, gf and two sisters. Saw it Saturday with my parents and then went by myself today.

I thought by the third time I would have been a little burnt out but it was just as fun to watch. More so than the multiple times I saw the first two Spider-Man films.

It's funny, my grandma really wants to see it. She likes Robert Downey Jr and Paltrow. Both my parents liked it so I will most likely be seeing it again for a third time this coming weekend. But that will probably be it unless I get bored during the week or something. I haven't met anyone who hasn't liked this movie yet.

I like seeing movies multiple times in theaters. The movie theater is the best way to watch a movie IMO. though last summer I saw so many movies again and again that I stayed away from the theater altogether for like four months. Of course one of the reasons was I worked at a theater, easy to see movies when they are for free.

Either ticket prices are low over in the land of the free, or you guys have too much money/time to burn. (under 16's are exempt here).

I've seen it once and I won't see it again till the Blu-Ray. I simply cant justify the money to see a film twice anymore. Even one as good as Iron Man.

I saw it on the Thurs preview, on Friday, and again Tue this week.

It holds up after 3 viewings. I"m impressed. I expected average from this movie to be honest.

Now I'm willing to say it's the best comic book movie ever made. Any complaints about it are so small they aren't worth talking about. The pacing was great, the cast was awesome, the humor fit in perfectly, the special effects should be the text-book, and the action wasn't overdone (like some "action" movies are drawn into).

I know they did something special when I see people like my sister in law loving it. She rolls her eyes at the other comic book movies.

Fittingly, Iron Man is now the gold standard. Christian Bale and Tobey McGuire are the only two leads that have approached Robert Downey Jr's performance. And they only approach it....they don't equal it. The little things like RDJ's early scene when he is dodging bombs and frantically trying to use his cell phone are great acting worthy of any Oscar-winning performance. I really think the Academy needs to get over their bias and give some consideration to RDJ this year. (Yep...I said it.)

Saw it 4 times. 4th time was disappointing though because 2 scenes of the Mark 1 escape scene were cut.

First, the entire scene with the debris falling on the terrorist leader was cut. Only the impact of the rocket was shown.

Second, the entire sequence of Stark walking through the terrorist camp was cut as well. He shoots his flamethrowers and then it cuts right away to him pushing the button to escape.

It was one of those things where I went with a friend when it first came out. Then another friend. And another wanted to see it so he said he pay for me. Then I took my sisters (at different times). My boss at my old job knew I loved Spider-Man so she gave me some extra tickets left over from our Christmas gifts to see it, and so on. I never really set out to see it that many times. It just kind of happened. The only time I set out to see it was opening day. I always see the new Spider-Man twice opening day. Will do the same for the new HULK.

Spider-Man 2 on the other hand I saw only 7 times in theaters but set out to do each time because I couldn't get enough of that movie.

The audiences I've seen the comic book movies with are usually always into these films. Spider-man 1,2, X-Men 1,2, Iron Man, The Hulk, Batman Begins, and Superman Returns all got great audience reactions when I saw these films. The audiences I saw Ghost Rider, Daredevil, X-Men 3, and Fantastic Four with were pretty quiet for obvious reasons. Spider-man 3 got a decent audience response.

That's always the mark of a really good movie for me. I enjoyed the experience when I saw X3 and SM3 at their midnite shows(due to the audience's energy and such) but they became completely unwatchable when I went back, even worse than FF. SM1, SM2, X1, X2, Unbreakable, Incredibles, BB, and IM were all rewatchable.
