Do people know who Iron Man is? Like the Fantastic four, does the people know Tony Stark is Iron Man or is that something that is new in the movie?

By the time Civil War happened, the majority of the public knew, and almost all of the Avengers and the majority of Marvel heroes knew.

well, Superheros don't count, because all should know who everybody is............ but i'm talking about the general public

Ultimate marvel everyone knew tony stark was Ironman

Iron Man (vol. 3) #55 (July 2002-avengers disassembeled, Civil War Iron Man was known to the public as Iron Man.

yes everyone knows. He revealed it to the public in Civil War and then was head of shield with everyone knowing.
