Silver age legend, Gene Colan, as most of you know as possibly the greatest Iron Man artist of all time, has gone into kidney failure. Mrs. Colan encourages all his fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers durring this sad and difficult time.

That's terrible news. I met him last year at NYCC and he was such a sweet guy.
Let's also not forget his magnificant runs on Daredevil and Tomb of Dracula.

That's a drag. Even at his age Gene still really has a passion for comic book art and it's sad to see him in this condition. Gene's a legend in my mind. He added an amazing depth to his action scenes that were just as great as Kirby at his best.
