Because it's so recent it will get a ton of love, but the sound in Transformers was incredible.

Yeah definately the seismic charges. Both in creativity in sound usage and sound design. I love how the sound dropped. In the theater I thought that the speakers went out.lol.

The seismic charges from Attack of the Clones always come to mind first for me.
Indeed, that sound was so unique, i loved it from the moment i heard it.

I must add the lightsaber sound effects, just because it was so different from anything i had heard before in my life, and it's a sound that most people hear today and recognize right away.

and that sound that Superman makes when he enters the Earth's atmosphere. that's pretty cool too.

'Cloverfield'... the creature's roars shook the theatre for me when I was watching, and I loved it because it had my back pressing hard up against the back of the seat.

and War of The Worlds... the horn sound was terrifying because you knew what was coming

But yeah i like the sound of the republic gunships in star wars episode 2
And the sound of harrys granade flying things in spidey three.

That horn was very unique. And terrifying.

I also like the sound of the jet in stealth.
