But it should be used emotionally. I mean when he's totally pushed to the brink. Either the end of season one... Or maybe season two if/when Gwen is killed by Gobby.

An aside: I like how they've planted these seeds throughout the episodes, but I'd totally forgotten about the gene cleanser till I rewatched the episodes. So maybe they should keep bringing them up.

Also-- anyone notice the similarity between the Gene Cleanser and Globulin Green?

I too was thinking that the gene cleanser would lead up to 6 armed Spidey :D That might make for an interesting episode or 2, and maybe an introduction to Morbius?

This isn't TAS, they won't use Morbius.

Six armed Spidey might be for another Lizard episode with the bad guy being Electro again or something.

The stuff is still in his room. He may get bummed out about being Spidey again someday and use it. Worst case scenario for Peter, he grows six arms. In the comcis, he'd come up with a serum to remove his spider-powers, and the six arms was the result.

I think it'll happen this season. It would be a good set up for the Master Planner arc (next season?), a possible Spider-Man No More, and an ultra sweet Season Finale. They did say that little pieces will make up an arc, and in these arcs you'll remember something small that will shape out to make a Season long arc...and I think that little piece will be the Gene Cleanser.
