Interesting title, if it is true, no doubt it will involve Megatron however the possibility of other dead cons returning shouldn't be ruled out.

Yes you probably are both right, it wouldn't be in his character to choose an earth mode, although considering he was pretty banged up from his fight in the first movie he may be forced to transcan to repair himself.

If Megs did change to anything, I would bet my next paycheck that he would be more like Galvatron...there is no way they could pull off any type of gun (ala Gen1)

The movie began shooting on June 2nd in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While details of the movie's plot a closely-guarded secret, expect a key character from the first movie to make a dramatic comeback and attempt to settle a score.

And also, the animated prequel, it said both Prime and Megatron were like "rulers" in Cybertron, but then Megs wanted all the power to himself.

I hope the title does indeed play towards Megatrons rise/revenge and NOT who 'the Fallen' is, as described in this link. The story described here seems a little too complex for movie goer's to follow..and it indicates that we may see Unicron.........who i never want to see in a TF film.

Don't expect much of a change,trust me,if he maintains the same alt mode and possibly more stuff appearance wise that is.

exactly. that's the very reason i'm not a fan. revenge is used alot (even thought it was absolutely perfect for SW)

Thats a lame name. "Return of/Revenge of/Rise of" are all played, and work only for SW and movies even campier than TF. Revenge of the Fallen is especially bad and sounds like a 90's computer game sequel. I hate subtitles that reference characters in the movie. They may as well have called it Transformers 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold.

I doubt they will even use this title, though.

I think Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is perfect, it makes it sound more interesting than just Transformers 2. Its much better than how the Spider-Man titles turned out, they should have went with Amazing Spider-Man for the second then Spectacular Spider-Man for the 3rd. But the Transformers 2 title is perfect.

If the Constructicons are in this movie how do u think they will address the whole naming Brawl Devastator error in the last movie. I actually picked up the Reign of Starscream comic yesterday and they have it corrected in the recap of the movie, he says "Brawl on route" or whatever, so maybe on teh blu-ray release it will be corrected. But if they do have the constructicons form Devastator in it and don't correct the name of Brawl, then it will be confusing.

Yeh when Frenzy finds the cube and gets healed he says "allspark located" on subtitles then Starscream asks for the Decepticons to report in on the subtitles, then they show Barricade and he says "Barricade on route" on the subtitles, then they show Brawl and he says "Devastator reporting" on the subtitles, but in the comic like I stated before they correct this, and the producers have said that calling bawl Devastator was a production error they forgot to fix.

But hopefully it won't be an issue

The numerical thing would work fine for a franchise like Transformers. I mean they are robots and robots are basically just numbers who have wars anyway. For Spiderman it seemed like calling the next one Spiderman 2 was lacking a little, but here, "Revenge of the Fallen" is just so cheesey. Impossible was not a subtitle for Mission Impossible either. Also i prefer this title to ones that just trot out tag lines from the toon.

Thats both possible and plausible, i guess we'll see, but i can still only see Megatron being resurrected at this point, even WITH the Jazz sightings.
