its from a comercial.

You know what I hate about porn, is the fact that all the girls always want to look directly into the camera, that creeps me out.

Majik1387
07-01-2007, 11:05 PM
That's why I don't watch porn with women unless a guy is in it with them.

Noir
07-01-2007, 11:07 PM
even with guys, the chick could be getting drilled and she'll still be looking right into the camera.

Majik1387
07-01-2007, 11:09 PM
I don't pay attention to the chick

Noir
07-01-2007, 11:12 PM
next time you watch some, pay attention to her for like a second.

Sean Cody has good quality though. I actually just downloaded some last night :p

so does corbin fisher... best 2 gay porn sites imo..

but i get all mine free... i use bittorrent and go to gay-torrents that should be the site, if not type it into google and you should find it. but all corbin fischers and sean cody stuff is pretty much HD quality... and they always have new stuff on the front page of the torrent part of the site..

sean cody stuff starts with SC in file names and Corbin fisher ACM or somethin like that i highly recomend bittorrent+that site

Yeah, I just asked cuz my friends told me friends with benefits don't work because you end up falling for each other, which isn't always true. With me, the guy was just a liar.

Down here it's all the club guys, also stuck up and flakey. It's a city of bottoms and I'm serious.
It's also full of ugly old men who want to get laid. They tend to be the tops. And the sugar daddies. Also it's apparently a good place to meet up with people if you want to get into gay porn.

it just annoys me.. (not trying to be racist) but african american's are pretty much far from being a minority these days... in fact... are the largest group of "minorities" yet they seem complain the most... you don't really see mexicans or asians or middle eastern or indian doing that... they just kinda shrug it off and just realise some people are a*holes

I mean....are "these people" anymore "representative" of those that support homosexuality, than that person is a representative of those that don't??

That was extreme to try to paint those that oppose, as that lady with the sign. It is also an extreme to paint all homosexuals as the "flamers" depicted above.

hate to break it to you.
homosexuality is there whether you "support" it or not, it's like PBS or some ****.
if by "not supporting homosexuality" you mean, saying it's a curable disease, I think that this stance alone is interesting enough.
I don't think that this is about representation.

This will be my only post in this thread. I believe homosexuality to be 100% completely sinful and absolutely wrong. However, it is not my place to be the Judge of anyone. All I can do is voice my view in a peaceful manner, and leave it at that. One of my main philosophies on life is, "I will always tell you the whole truth, to the best of my knowledge and ability. I don't ask or expect you to agree with it; that's between you and God."

Let me be the one to say, that you and the people that take this stance hiding behind the bible/God, are cowards. If you have a problem with homosexuality, then have the balls to say it on your own two feet. Don't justify it by twisting the words of a book and/or because you're naive enough to believe what fellow 'sheep' told you to believe.

A) I've been to Austin. It was for a wedding, but I get it... not all Texans are of the 'God Bless Texas' variety.

b) If you consider yourself a progressive, are you claiming you DONT lament the political and social realities in TX?

Columbus, Oh has a very large gay population... Ohio is also a wildly homophobic and conservative state. AND WE'RE A SWING STATE.

That's not some generalization... there are voting records to back it up.

I'm not calling everyone from any given state one thing or another... but I stand by the fact that I'm hardly shocked that Texas is home to such an amazingly free thinking and progressive mind, like Moviefan2k4....

I'd say the same thing if they had an OH under their name, you can be sure.

But since iv'e come out, ive came across zero hostility everyone is very open and accepting of me

Let me explain where I'm coming from...

I go running about 4 times a week. I think there have been about 10 times in the past few months where a stranger has yelled at me that I was a 'fagg0t' simply because I was running... And not in short shorts, or some *****. Your typical workout clothes whether it be sweats or gym shorts and a backwards baseball cap. One time, someone threw a Gatorade bottle @ me from a Jeep and yelled 'f*** you ***'.

Having said that, I obviously have a ton of people in my life that are accepting, wonderful people.... Because I've created a bubble for myself.

There are parts of Ohio, Texas and too many other places, where leaving that 'bubble' means if you're gay and you don't send out a gay vibe strangers who don't know you're gay feel MORE than comfortable saying some truly awful stuff about gay people in your presence, since they can't IMAGINE they'd ever be in the company of a gay person... Gay people are like an abstract idea.

That's true of everywhere, but I can assure you having traveled to different parts of the country, there ARE varying levels of intolerance and ignorance.

Incidentally, that trend is true about racist comment to... as in 'I don't see any black people... so I can say any racist comment I want... we're all white here!' I probably hear people use the n-word about 2-3 times a month (in a non-quoting non-ironic non-taking-it-back kinda way) and it is ALWAYS when I'm in a bar or waiting in line somewhere... Never when I'm hanging with the people I have relationships with.

I DO NOT buy the story that Ohio is welcoming to gay people. I DO NOT buy the idea that somehow Texas is welcoming to gay people.

There are gay havens all over the country (Austin and Columbus among them), but the fact that they exist underscores the point that it's not very easy living elsewhere those respective states.

... And for the record the stories about running all took place a 15 minute drive from down town Columbus.

So what was the point of even coming into this thread and saying what you have said? To remind the gay people that are posting in here that there are people like you out there who think they are an abomination of nature? I have to agree with BadgerPhil that it's a cowardly stance indeed to hide your bigotry and hatred behind words from a holy book that have been twisted to suit that agenda. If you don't approve of homosexuals, fine...stay out of their lives and STFU. If you ask yourself "What would Jesus do?", I severely doubt he'd be doing drive-by "you're sinners!!!!!!" on message boards.

Maybe you just run like a girl?

Being different from the status quo never is easy but to say whole states won't accept you is pretty prejudiced in its own right. Some people in every state will accept others while some won't. It might be easier in a "haven" but that's really just another word for ghetto isn't it? Everyone has problems in different envirnments but it's sticking and fighting for what's right that makes people change their minds and learn to accept.

Just trying to offer an opinion you might not have considered.

You did, you said, "I DO NOT buy the story that Ohio is welcoming to gay people. I DO NOT buy the idea that somehow Texas is welcoming to gay people."

That's pretty much inclusive as you're speaking for whole states. No state is either welcoming or not welcoming. They're landmasses, they have neither feeling nor emotion. People welcome or don't, but you'll find that anywhere, probably even in your havens.

Keep on fighting then, just try not to flail your arms when you run.

no states AREN'T just landmasses. To claim this is to truely have NO understanding of how our government works. FOR INSTANCE...

I WILL point out that, we have states in this country where gay sex is illegal... Texas is one of them. That's a fact. Not some abstraction.

It's warm and fuzzy to say that we should view people as individuals... I agree that as you walk down the street you interact with people, not groups, but at the end of the day laws written and pasted by politicians voted on by people are passed that create REAL inequalities in this country... And those inequalities ARE VERY MUCH based on state lines.

I guess, its just sometimes REALLY easy for people who can't be thrown in jail depending on what sate you're in to feel that state's are an abstract idea. They aren't 3 states currently ban gay people from adopting. This same issue will be on several state ballots in 08... It's the new 'gay-marriage-ban' issue for the upcoming Presidential elextion.

State laws aren't states. States are landmass boundries. The laws are made by the people that choose to settle those boundries. You want the laws changed? Don't go to havens, branch out and vote.

Inequalities have and will always exist. Don't complain too much cause we've got it pretty freaking good. Nobody's a slave in this country and everybody gets to vote.

Like I said, want state laws to change? Don't flee the state, invade and change it from within. Progress is never easy, quick, or complete but you can get little victories which actually mean something from time to time.

I for one would like to say that not all religious people think gay people are bad or sinners. I believe in the majority of what the Bible says but I also believe we are the way God made us. If you're gay it's because it was in God's plan for you to be that way so why fight it? I think monogomous gay couples should have the same rights as any other. I think the only gay sinners are those who are promiscious (I would think the same of them if they were straight), who force themselves on someone else, and who molest children. The vast majority of gay people do not do these things so why condemn them all? If you're gay, then that's just who you are. :)

My husband agrees with me on everything but one point -- he feels the church has the right to deny a religious wedding to gay people. He thinks gays have the right to a civil or state wedding and that they should have the same financial and health care rights as everyone else. But he figures since a church wedding isn't absolutely essential to be married, if the church wants to refuse they should have that right. I think if a gay couple wants a religious wedding they should be able to have one. :)

Great post, squeek. I also find it very odd that "religious" people pick out homosexuality as this unforgivable, damnable sin, but ignore all other parts of the Bible, like that whole loving thy neighbor thing. Even if homosexuality is a sin according to the Bible (that's VERY disputable), it doesn't matter. According to the Bible, we're all sinners and have no grounds to judge others.

Elliot wrote a great play about that, Murder in the Cathedral. It shows the levels of sin with the greatest being doing the "righteous" thing for the wrong reason.

The last lines:

Now is my way clear, now is the meaning plain:
Temptation shall not come in this kind again.
The last temptation is the greatest treason:
To do the right deed for the wrong reason.

Basically pride in how much more righteous you are only sends you further into hell.

Great read BTW.

I'm an atheist, but I do actually have a huge respect for tolerant religious people...

A few times we've had talks about how gay people do or don't find religion, and why.

I don find it a real shame that gay people are so excluded from spirituality for the most part in our country, because whether or not I believe in god or jesus, I do fully appreciate the community aspect, charity, and teachings of love in religion.

It is a reality, that gay people cannot in any way change the minds of people the likes of Jerry Falwell and his followers. The responsibility falls on other Christians who are sick of their religion being hijacked and used to instill fear and hate.

Similar to the reality that white men's voices were a vital component in achieving more equality for women and African Americans.

But... at this point nobody should really concern her or himself with changing Jerry Falwell's opinion.

I actually agree with your husband. I don't think America is or will ever be a place where a court tells a church they can't ban gay people from getting married there. Nor should it be...

However, this argument always takes the VERY small-minded view that all churches wish to ban gay marriages.

Not all churches do.

A REEEEEEAL stumper for a guy a I know how is VERY MUCH against gay rights, is the total hypocrisy of this issue. If you claim the church is THE vital piece of the puzzle when it comes to marriage, and churches WILL grant gay marriages, then you don't really have a leg to stand on other than to switch gears and claim that marriages are granted by the state, as which point religion is out the window due to separation of church and state... And people don't like that at all.

PS: The civil union thing is a joke. It goes back to the whole states rights issue I was talking about before. Civil Unions were just passed in NJ, and there are already stories about how the law maker's EQUAL JUST CALLED SOMETHING ELSE civil unions are in fact not equal because companies like UPS are denying spousal benefits in the state because these benefits are governed by federal law which only guarantees benefits to married people, not those in civil unions....

then again 'separate but equal' doesn't really stand for much of anything at all, these days.

I really wish more Christians took that stance. I think it's the one Jesus would endorse, personally. The problems start when some folks start viewing homosexuality as a choice rather than just something some people are born as. None of the gay people I know ever wished to be gay. Some of them have had some VERY hard lives because of their homosexuality and have even gone through periods where they said that if they could change and be heterosexual instead they would have done so in a heartbeat to save themselves so much grief and persecution. Thankfully most of them have worked past that and learned to just embrace who they are and live happy, productive lives. I wince when I think that some folks have to hide who they really are or ever feel embarrassed or apologetic for being themselves just because some folks in society don't like what they are and hide behind words they took from a holy book and twisted to justify their prejudices like cowards. THAT is not Christian-like at all as far as I'm concerned. It's despicable.

Bexley. As for the idea that all black people disappear 15 mins away from downtown, that wasn't really what I was saying... Just that when it all white people, the n-word flows a bit too freely... But NEVER in mixed company... That's in bad taste! ;)

no worries though... it got buried yesterday. now someone just has to tell the bigots.

lol, really when i was home last week (i was home for 3 weeks) but just got back to LA friday, i talked to alot of gay guys online from bexely... several hotties even.. so i didnt get an "uptight" reaction at all... i duno, maybe u've just ran into bad luck? because the columbus "area" (which i will include bexely in) id assume is much more tolerateable then springfield.. where there was only one out gay guy at the entire time i was in school... and he was a senior when i was a freshman..

Well said. My mom had a cousin who spent most of his life hiding the fact that he was gay. I can't even imagine what he went through, being gay and growning up the 60/70's, not being able to talk to anyone while he was still living at home. He grew up in the same town I did, and I can say, back then it would have not gone over well.

Later on in life he moved to Chicago and started coming out to family and friends. And proudly not one member of my family cared really. He was still just Dave. He was a fun loving and caring individual, someone I looked up to a great deal. Never really got to know him to well, died when I was 13, but he made a big impact.

Anyway, people that are closed minded miss out on so much in life. It's a shame really, but their loss.

I can relate to a certain degree, Phil. I have two female cousins that are gay (they're sisters, actually, though their older sister is straight) and when they first came out my whole family did their best to not judge them or alienate them but it was painfully obvious that it was a big source of tension for a lot of my relatives. I just treated them like the two big sisters who'd tortured me throughout my youth like I always had (I was in high school when they came out) and eventually everyone started doing basically the same. They've both told me that it was my just treating them like I always had that sort of set the stage for their own PARENTS to learn how to do that. Sadly, I know other families don't deal with members coming out so well. It's tragic because there's just no need for it.

Nothing makes me angrier than when gays try to live straight and get married and have kids, being miserable the whole time. And why? Because some one else told them this is how they are supposed to live. It usually ends in misery for the spouse and the kids anyhow so what's the point? If you're gay, you're gay and that's it. Fighting it just leads to mroe pain than anyone should have to live with. :(

jagYou're right, there is no need for it. I hate how gay people feel they have to hide the way they are when they were simply born that way. I think some of the uglier aspects of homosexuality -- the sneaking around, the promiscuity, and all that -- are driven by a need to hide who they really are, just because someone else told them it was wrong when it really isn't. :(

Well, the thing is, I know A LOT of gay people and they are nowhere near as promiscuous with their sexuality as the straight people that I know. Keep in mind I know people of all sexual creeds who run in both kink/leather community circles and more straight-edge circles and my observation still holds up; the gay people I know are, on the whole, more monogamous and careful about who they'll sleep with than most straight people I know. That's what's interesting about the stereotypes to me. I know in certain parts of the country, the gay population is more promiscuous (I've heard Miami can be this way), but then again....isn't EVERYONE in those areas a bit more promiscuous than other places? I don't know the answer, but it seems silly to me to think that simply one substrata of the population would be that way while the rest would not in a particular area.
