I think he was just hinting that we might see Ironman...not Captain America. We know that Tony Stark is in the movie, why not see some footage of Ironman too?

I think that the reason he mentions Captain America is because they were talking about the easter egg Cap Shield in Ironman. He said we might see "Captain America instead" meaning instead of seeing something relating to a hero...WE MIGHT ACTUALLY SEE THE HERO HIMSELF.

Could they be looking for the Hulk and find something else? I'm thinking that the Hulk is chased up north by the military. The hulk throws a chunk of ice and unearths something? Or maybe Banner is in the ice looking for Cap's body. Seeing how this version of Banner was working with the serum he probably already knows the history of Cap's. After trying to cure himself with no luck he figures if he can find Caps body maybe it can lead to some answers for him. Being that Caps is the only who the Serum worked on (without bad side effects)…Just a thought.

The only Cap reference in this movie that I’ve heard of so far is the serum and talk of the super soldier program…..

I've been reading the movie novelization of TIH, it does mention the Super Soldier serum alot of times, but no mention of Cap, not yet anyway. I do still have 98 pages to read.

**SIDENOTE** There's one part in the book where Betty Ross is listening to Aerosmith and singing along... badly. I thought this was funny cause Liiv Tyler plays Ross and Steven Tyler, her dad, is the lead singer of Aerosmith

Either I was watching X-Play or the Cubs baseball game but in the trailer they have Tony Stark in it...so...not much of a spoiler...I guess they did this to get the folks that went to see Iron Man,let them know he's in The Incredible Hulk.I wonder how much screen time he's getting in this movie?

It'd be really nice to see Captain America, or Thor, hell I'd take Pym. I'm going to see it tomorrow and I'm afraid I'll miss it. i would've missed his shield in Iron Man had I not known.

Stark appears in it for about a minute tops and its not after the credits like you'd expect. There's nothing after the credits, I saw it last night. I don't recall seeing any heros besides Hulk and Stark in it. You will know who will probably be Hulk's next adversary is though. I don't think he was portrayed correctly but that's just the geek in me talking again.
