The clear sunglasses annoy me. Couldn't they just let Baroness wear the classic black rimmed glasses?
I mean, maybe it's nitpicking, but I don't see why that needed to be changed.
She looks good as the character at least.

At least those aren't fully black. I hate when women wear "I hate my face" sunglasses.

Baroness is one of the characters that are closest to the original design of the character, but her "goggles" irk me alot. I don't understand what it is so hard to get the same glasses that Baroness wear, or why they feel compelled to change it.

Quite sexay.
I agree with those who hate the goggles, but it's better than nothing, I guess.

I remember seeing an early shot of Sienna dressed as Baroness *without* glasses at all. That really got me miffed. I'm happy to see her with specs at least.

Agreed, I HATED that she didn't have the glasses at all, then the one with shades was the same. This is as close as we get, and I'll gladly take it.
I have a feeling, the two pair of glasses we've seen won't be the only ones she wears. She'd better be rocking the liberal glasses at some point in the movie.

She looks good as the character at least.I think when they were designing her look for this movie, they looked at how she looked in the comics and cartoon and probably thought that her usual black rimmed glasses weren't "cool looking" enough. Thus, why she's wearing those glasses.
And from what I've seen, it looks like she only wears the glasses when she's using her guns kinda like the glasses they make you wear at a shooting range.

I can't believe you guys are complaining about the glasses. This is getting a little sad.
The important thing is that she looks ****in' hot. :woot: :oldrazz:

What is that a Laser shooting power tool in her hand?

A cordless drill maybe? She looks like she's wearing safety goggles as well. :hehe:

These are the glasses she should be sporting. I know it's 2008 and those are the spectacles the girlies are wearing nowadays, but some chicks wear the regular ones just for kitsch value anyway.

Well maybe she wears them when she is in action only. Basketball players who wear glasses off court, wear protective presciption goggles on court.

The "power tool" you guys are refering to is actually supposed to be some king of a rail gun/coil gun. The vipers carry larger ones and use them to.....:wow: ACTUAL SPOILER :wow:...attack Duke and Ripcords Ranger convoy wiping out all but those two which is only prevented by the timely arrival of this "Joe" (I cringe at calling them Joes:cmad:) team and hence their induction and introduction to Snake eyes, Scarlett, Heavy Duty, and Breaker. All within the first 15 mins of this cinematic atrocity.

It's a fashion Faux pas.

Or as Bruno from Ali G might ca ll it, a "nich nich"
Anyone read the IGN interview with Miller when she said the director has her wearing a faux chest peice to add more...substance...to the get-up?
I thought that was worth a laugh.

i like it, agreed on the glasses, though. not that those look bad on her, but the black rims would look much, much hotter.
what's up with that gun, though? it looks like it came out of a bad 80's scifi b-movie.

Nice, but i prefer the poster of her with the two guns in her hands. Plus, when did ' Rise of Cobra' become the subheading?

I think I need to "bone up" on the Baroness.
My sexy Slavic Librarian is no longer.....
Now she is just a sexy Slavic whore :(
What is up with the need for all these people making the movies to change small and trivial things that many of us have associated with the characters since our childhood?
What does it achieve? :(

All I know is that black rimmed glasses is the least of this movies problems, but agreed in that I dont see why they have to changed such subtle signature things all the time in movies.

It's sad to hear that such a petite woman plays the Baroness.
