Considering Buying a Yellow Car...

Alright, so I'm going to be purchasing a car soon. I really want a Pontiac Sunfire and was all set to buy a nice black one, only to find out the dealer sold it. However they still have a very reasonably priced yellow Sunfire.

So the question is would any of you guys ever buy a yellow car?

I really want a Sunfire but I'm really not sure about the color yellow. Help me decide!:woot:

I knew a guy who drove a yellow car in high school. His car was forever known as the "Fairy Canary". He also got a lot of tickets from the cops because he was so easy to spot. Enjoy your yellow car.

You would be surprised, but that can actually take money off the resale value of the car, because they might assume that it was repainted due to damage.

I wouldn't buy a yellow car, but I recommend that you do, just for the fact that it makes room for my more preferred colours on the road. Plus it wouldn't be a boring colour after a while, you have to admit that.

I've had this discussion before.

There are some colors should only be for certain cars and certain drivers.

Most times you see a yellow car and you drive up expecting to see some attractive woman and you see a dude. :down

Now sometimes certain colors can transcend sex depending on what car you drive. For example, a Hummer looks nice in yellow or even a sports car.

Yellow is just a stupid color for a car. I have no reasoning behind this. Its like, I wouldn't buy a red pair of pants. Some people think red pants are cool, i hate them.

I think where I'm from, yellow cars are just associated with douche bags. That, and my hatred for the color yellow (and orange) in general.
