Not sure if this should go in this forum or the Golden Ticket forum, but any ways...as the title reads, what movies have you seen at a midnight showing?
I've seen:
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
X-Men: The Last Stand
Superman Returns
Spider-Man 3
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Transformers
Hitman
I Am Legend (In Imax)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The Incredible Hulk
Wall-E
The Dark Knight (In Imax)
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Quantum of Solace

Not many honestly.
The only one that comes to mind is Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

I only see the most highly anticipated of films (sequel is a must) at midnight. I couldn't quite catch Ep 3 at the midnight show since I could never really get into the Star Wars prequels. First two were too much a let down and I wasn't extremely hyped. POTC DMC I went to because of the ridiculous popularity that series had at the time, plus the fact that there was really nothing else for that year. SM3 and Indy were the movies for 07 and 08... I'll be there again for TDK. I MIGHT be there for Transformer 2 depending on the other films released next year. I'll definitely be there for IM2/Avengers fo sure... not sure about SM4... not that anyone cares. Sorry to digress.

I just saw Wall-e last night at midnight. For me, I see movies at midnight that are must sees and usually comic films. But lately I've been branching out and seeing other regular films at midnight, just for fun.

Batman Begins
Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I've already got my 12:01 AM ticket for The Dark Knight in sweet, sweet IMAX.

I've never been able to do that . If I had my way I would of saw Episode three at midnight because i was dying to see that movie.

Star Wars Episode III
Spider-Man
Spider-Man 2
John Carpenter's Halloween
That's about it off the top of my head. The theaters here really dont participate in midnight showings all that often. As there wasnt one for Batman Begins, or Superman Returns, Iron Man, Hulk ect ect. However, if The Dark Knight happens to get a midnight showing around here, I'll definately be purchasing tickets for that.
But yeah, that's a big "if".

Does going to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture show count?
I've only done Spider-Man 3 so far, but up next will be in "sweet, sweet IMAX" (as some will say :hoboj:) The Dark Knight at 12:01am  Ha but I was also fortunate enough to grab some "Kicking & Screening" tickets for TDK for the 15th in San Francisco. It won't take too much away from the midnight showing though :hehe: (it'll still be awesome)

I was talking with a woman who manages a regal cinemas and I was asking how crazy the weekend was. i guess the midnight showings turned into a disaster. Film reels were eitehr falling or breaking one way or the other. her son was in attendance and decided to leave around 1am . She said the only people there who saw the complete film were there until 4 am [Damn!] .
I wouldve probably filed a lawsuit . I don't regret not going to a midnight show because i got to see it friday and was thrilled. If they do make a third with the nolan team I might have to go to a midnight screening .

My Regal had 8 midnights running at the same time. Luckily they all went through without any problems.
I've never technically been to a midnight showing. I just always work during them. Although I did get to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix a day early (as in even a day before the midnights) at 130am. Employee's used to get to see movies early. Sadly not anymore...

Absolutely.
In addition to being based on a kickass book, it's the only trailer that I've ever seen receive thunderous applause. Granted, it happened at a TDK midnight showing, no doubt full of fanboys, but still. :woot:
