Well?

Someone at another message board said 90% full for the midnight screening. :wow:

Think it'll make money? Obviously this is Wall-E's weekend, but let's see where this ends up.

We went to the 1:30 showing here and it was decently packed. To my surprise actually, I'd say 80%. We had to sit in the last row, which was a first for us...we're middle isle sticklers, but we got there late. By the time we got in we missed half of TDK trailer, but I'm pleased to say I had a good time in the back row. The AC was awesome too!

Interesting...

This will probably be in 2nd place under Wall-E.

ditto, can't remember the last really packed viewing i went to, i usually go to one of the first screenings of it during the day, beauty of still being somewhat of a student i suppose.

The theater I went to last night (The last showing of the night, too) was totally sold out. It was strange too because three of my friends didn't buy tickets and snuck in (those bastards!) and later we saw exactly three people come in looking for seats...they ended up sitting in the aisles. I felt bad for them :csad:

Only four seats in the very front row were available at a 10:30 pm showing I went to last night. 2 different groups tried sitting there but eventually left, one of which I heard saying "**** it. Let's come back for the next showing".

Wow! Only about $5 million lower than WALL-E on Friday. Of course WALL-E will have killer legs, whereas this will make a good majority of it's money on it's opening weekend. They both look like they're going to do better than I thought.

I went to a 2:20pm showtime on Friday. They were holding the viewing in the biggest theater in the cinema. It was HUGE! It was around 40% full, but that's because it was the afternoon and people work.

Yup. The movie is a hit. I guess that's shocking a lot of the comic book fans who boycott this movie.

I went to a 10:40am showing about 10% packed and a little more than half of the people there were women.

My theater was packed. By the time the film started, there was hardly a seat in the room left.

I didn't see it in June but early July, and it still was very full. I was quite surprised. I never planned to see the movie at the time, especially.

I just saw it Thursday, dragged my date along. So I'm guessing there might have filled it to 5-10% capacity.
