Also got my survival suit batman yesterday and they messed up and put him on the joker gotham city thug card.

Hey AZspidey i live in Litchfield Park, AZ. Nice to see someone else from AZ on here. Well i wanted to tell you that I ordered 2 proto suit bats figures and both of them came on the Bank Robber Joker card back!!! I was kinda pissed off so i messaged Mattel on their facebook page and of course no response yet. I wonder if this will be like this for the rest of the figures. I think they are trying to cut costs on printing individual cardbacks. Cheap asses. I thought i was the only one who got the screwed up cardbacks.

However I do love the figure. Ski mask fits him perfectly! Cant wait for the rest of these to come out.

You get the actual Bruce Wayne figure but it's on the wrong card. It's mislabled as the Thug.

I have seen other people mention this problem.

Actually, as collectibles go, it is BETTER to have the wrong labels on the figures - it's a manufacturing defect and it makes the mess-up more valuable because they are different from the vast amount of others that are out there that are not messed up. For instance, I have a Luke Skywalker in Dagobah Fatigues that has a long blue lightsaber after they had shortened the lightsabers for the figures; thus, because of this slight variation, it makes the few that are out there, worth tons more than the common stock ones. If you retain the figures in their boxes without opening them, someday down the road you can fetch a lot more for them due to their rarity and the mixup.

Yeah i noticed that too. Not sure what is going on. The figure is great though. Well i guess we will just have to wait and see if they are all like this when the release them at toys r us in the spring. I did notice that Mattycollector put up pics of Harvey Dent. His card back is for himself and not another figure. Well i suppose this could be looked at as an error and maybe bring some value to the figure as kmrbeckman said.

Its funny, when the first Batman Begins movie came out I was LOSING it because the toys Mattel made were abysmal...something from McDonalds. Then the Movie Masters come out and I lost my mind I was so excited! And I don't even have to get into the problems that THOSE damn things caused...geezus I lost my hair with the inflated/scarcity/maybe not coming to Canada debacle that was the Dark Knight Movie Masters figures...

...then they say they are comin' to Matty Collector and I'm like :D!!! YESSS.....THEN there were rumours circulating for awhile that they would be cancelled :huh:.....THEN they are comin' out :doh:

LoL..either way as you can see by all of the above here...I've been on quite a rollercoaster of emotions when it comes to these figures...I just wanted to know I could go online-click 'Buy 2' then have 'em shipped here to me without the hassle...and I know it's just ONE figure but...now? Methinks the hair that was starting to grow back is starting to fall out again...

I'm not sure if I'm out of line here, and forgive me if I am but if anyone has 2 of the Harvey Dent figures to spare I'd gladly buy them from you? Or trade? I think everyone who got them is pretty happy with the number they bought though...just figured I'd give it a shot anyways.

I mean when it comes down to it, its just a guy in a suit but it definitely looks like Aaron Eckhart to me, and i can not wait for two-face and jail cell joker!!! I also liked the fact that the coin with Dent was Die Cast. Very nice job Mattel.

I am glad you got your figures ya lucky duck! Regardless of how much of a ROYAL pain in the balls its been to get these figures (not to mention the fact that Two Face has taken like 400 years to come out since the release of the movie) it is so amazing and I'm so happy that there are awesome 6-inch collector style Dark Knight movie action figures...I don't care IF it's just a 'guy in a suit'...it's friggin' Harvey Dent man!! :woot: Gotta respect that $***

I still think it would be great if these damn figures had a butt-load of accessories though...guns gadjects the works.

I would also like a Joker in his purple suit with a new head sculpt because the older one looks kinda weak in comparison to the Jail Cell Joker and that larger purple suited Joker Ive seen floatin' around the net on some sites.

Ok, ok...so lets look at the facts here....these figures are absolutely stunning to me and I'm happy Mattel made them. I am not too overly impressed with paying so much money for these damn figures...I mean, if I HAD tons of $$$ it wouldn't be a problem...but I don't. That being said you gotta splurge once and awhile for things you really want (although perhaps I do that too much sometimes :doh:...I digress)

I totally could have paid just $15 a friggin' pop for these guys but I missed the boat...so now in total for 2 of them I'm paying like $62..which kinda hurts. But you know what? I don't have to trouble anyone, nor do I have to wait till Spring to see if, key word IF..they come out.

District Attorney Harvey Dent in his beautiful action figure form is In Stock and ready to ship boys! And hopefully I'll get my hands on him and my Survival Suit Bruce Wayne in the next week or so and re-enact that dinner table scene heh heh!...exciting eh? :oldrazz:

Totally see your point Pennywise and i agree with you. As long as Mattel stays true to what they have said and release the figures in the spring! Its Mattel and they have definitely disappointed in the past as we know by how this line has been handled. Honestly i think Mattel will only ship their left overs to toys r us so that will make the case break down a bit difficult to track down. So i guess only time will tell. I really wish Mattel would get their heads out of there asses and make movie masters for 89 Batman and more characters from Begins and maybe a few from Returns...

Totally agree with ya AZspidey. I would rather click and buy then drive around like a mad man looking for these. I was so bummed when these flooded the market. All the hard work that i had done to complete my collection. Man i was pissed the **** off !!! But as time goes on you learn to forgive i suppose. I also collect DC Universe Classics and those arent any easier to find at times. So basically Mattel knows their figures are awesome and hopefully with all of our money combined we may see an accessory pack or 2!

Oh yeah dude, it's hurtin' LoL, pretty rough. But honestly? The way I look at it? I try to go back to the days when I walked into Toys R Us in 2005 and saw the Batman Begins figures...especially after seeing that awesome movie, and longing for GOOD, DECENT action figures made off the film....and how disappointed I was to see that Happy Meal **** Mattel tried to pass off. It was pretty maddening you know? I mean here we are like HOW many years later after the abysmal Batman & Robin fiasco..and we are FINALLY getting a wicked Batman movie...buuuut one of the most important things, the cool action figures? Are absolute crap.

That all changed when Mattel was gracious enough to not insult the buyer and create the "Movie Masters" line...lol, its funny, I seriously remember just losin' my mind when I heard about a line of 6-inch detailed "Dark Knight" action figures...I was soooo happy!

So now despite the price tag and the g-damn pain in the arse it was to track down the first wave..and knowing that these here figures were almost gonna get cancelled (well...according to rumors floatin' around at one time) that soothes my mind and my wallet after getting upset for paying so much for these action figures.

Also it kinda sucks knowing the company could have probably been a little less careless when it came to the way they handled this line. What with the figures coming out...then being recalled...then having to pay like $40000 for one on eBay, then having them flood the stores and interest kinda dwindling and them being on clearance..then the second wave coming out..then not coming out....now coming out...BAH it's enough to make you drive a hammer in your nuts! :whatever:

I dunno...I don't want to think the worst but, companies are literally all about making $$$ not making people happy persay. Dude I totally felt the exact same way when Mattel announced the new 6inch Movie Master line. I literally gizzed in my pants lol. Love that SNL skit. But no really i was so damn excited when i heard these were coming out. After all of the torture we have endured over the years with crap Batman Movie figures, finally we collectors were getting the recognition we deserved. I think i was one of the few fortunate ones to acquire the whole wave 1 set in one single shot! I got them all on May 5th, 2008. That was the official release date and i was at toys r us waiting for the damn store to open.

I was like a kid again when i found these. Regardless of how Mattel handled this line i still love these figures. Like you said we finally get awesome Batman Movie Figures!!! Then wave 2 came out. Scarecrow and Begins bats were kinda hard to get at first but man that Batman ghoul chase was super hard to get. I eventually found about 6 of them but not until Thanksgiving of 2008.

So in the end i have built this great and loving relationship with this line because of all of the hard but yet fun times i had tracking these damn figures down. I will complete the Movie Masters collection!!! I just really really hope Mattel decides to move forward with other Batman film characters. We can only hope.

I was a little less lucky...I got the severe run around for months with Toys R Us employees sayin' they 'had them in the back' or 'got them and had to ship them back' or 'would be getting them any day now' for the better part of 3 or 4 months. I went ****ing bananas and paid through the nads trying to get them all...it was kind of bitter sweet...more sweet in the end though, money is money--I finally got the movie based action figures I've been craving for years.

Although sometimes I still wanna kidney punch whoever was responsible for the shipping/availability fiasco that entailed with these figures...I distinctly remember sitting down looking at all of my figures I got being so happy and then BAM walking into Toys R Us only to see them for like 8 times less the price I paid for them LoL...it was pretty sweet though because I like to get doubles of my figures (one to play with one to keep in the package) and one time I went to TRU and found TONS of the Joker Goon figures so I managed to get quite an army :)

I do agree I really hope Mattel does make future characters from all the movies (lol well..like you said in the other thread EXCEPT the Schumcocker ones...well..actually some of the Forever ones wouldn't be bad...but save those for LAST...dont' even tough Batman & Robin..what a disaster that movie was!)

Make them available in decent quantaties online..I'd pay $15 for them for sure. Sucks we have to wait till May to get Two Face (he better come with a damn gun!). I used to think the same way, but the $8.50 in shipping you just have to look at the gas and time lost looking around for these toys. And Im positive you will end up spending less in the end, but the stress and time wasted running around is something I dont want to do, and risk losing out on one of the figures. I probably wont buy the sonar eyes batman online, Ill chance trying to find that one in the stores.

Hey Dude sorry i didnt comment earlier on this but no the other side of the coin is not scarred. Which is funny cause the package states that its scarred but my anger went away very quickly after realizing that it is indeed a very nice Die cast coin. Im sure once Two-Face will come out he will come with the scarred coin.

In my opinion its cool that we get two versions of the coin, this way i dont really feel cheated i suppose. However this figure is just great. great sculpt and an awesome die cast replica Dent coin is just to sweet.

I have to say yes, Batman Forever had some pretty cool moments in it...it had a LOT of goofy garbage but some of the action scenes and shots were pretty awesome. Riddler destroying the batcave and the Two-Face action scenes were pretty cool.

I got 3 proto suit bats. One to open, one to keep sealed and one to plop the head off and put on the begins body. Other then that i usually just get two of each 1 open 1 sealed. Post pics of your custom Mr. Freeze and deathstroke when your done dude.

ROTFLOL! Ahhhh are you kidding me? I STILL feel like stabbing my balls off thinking about some of the lines in that movie...and bro, remember the scene where Robin is like entwined in a plant and vines in one of Poison Ivys swimming pools or whatever at her base/hideout? K..watch that scene and basically what the editor did was cut it so that Chris O'Donnel went beneath the water then REWOUND the film so that it looked like he came UP for air!...when in fact it was just the editor letting the scene play, rewinding that moment from the beginning and I think they ADR's Chris O'Donnel like..gasping for air!

Holy moly man..after I noticed that I wanted to jump off of a step ladder spread my cheeks and land cornhole first onto a fire hydrant! Which would have been waaaay less painful than witnessing that crap-tacular moment..sheesh..

I remember seeing the trailer for Batman & Robin on Entertainment Tonight and I was like :wow: It was just so exciting knowing that Bane was going to be in the movie AND Mr. Freeze...and to top it all off he was going to be played by Arnold..who is quite literally THE MAN...forget this fascination with Chuck Norris man...it's ALL about Arnold. He is the epitome of 'cool' :word:. Honestly he can do no wrong...he's one of the dudes in Hollywood who just looks sooo right holding some kind of machine or hand gun..LoL...he's so badass man. I really wish they made True Lies figures...I know Hot Toys made a Dutch figure from Predator..I'd much prefer a scaled down 7-inch version of Dutch with arsenal..but...wait....where the hell was I going with this....:huh: OH YEAH :doh: Batman & Robin..yeah..it was a sad saaad day my friend at the theatres that opening day...heh, sorry kind of went off on an Arnold tangent there for a sec!

But just imagine how wicked that movie would have been if Bane wasn't just some pudgy dude who had Mrs. Crabtrees 5th Grade class paint him with puke green veins and didn't just repeat things Poison Ivy said and grumble like a tard and Mr. Freeze wasn't wasted...imagine if Arnold acted cool and evil the whole way through? I just fantasize sometimes. I wonder what Nolan would do with Mr. Freeze? MAN that would be awesome!

And I'll totally give a review of the good old District Attorney once I get him! I can't wait to get my mitts on him and act out that dinner table scene with my Survival Suit Bruce Wayne...so...I've got a lot of time on my hands...sue me! :oldrazz:

OK.....so I finally got my 3 Harvey Dent action figures and extra Survival Suit Bruce Wayne (...I know I have problems..I get 3 cuz I want one in the package, and I keep two in the package...yes I've thought of a cheaper hobby like bird watching but..it's just not as cool as action figures! :D) and I realized something....

SURE to some it is just a 'guy in a suit'...or a figure that looks like 'Conan O' Brien (I personally think the likeness is fantastic! They didnt' really get Aarons bum chin right but that doesn' matter an awesome figure nonetheless) but to me? It is a character from an amazingly cool movie based on some of my favourite comic book characters in a 6-inch amazingly detailed well articulated (articulation that makes sense..none of this every finger is articulated business) form...and I love it :)

I sat back and looked at my Batman Dark Knight armor (the Begins figure has dinky arms that need to be fixed with a version 2 of that character me thinks) Bruce Wayne in his Survival Suit, Joker, Scarecrow, Joker Goons and now Harvey Dent and I realized...this line is looking fantastic. It is so awesome to have these figures and even though Mattel took their sweet fackin' time releasing them (and whats this one every month horse****....release them ALL at the same time dammit!) I thank them for making these 6-inch movie based action figures..I love them!

I cannot WAIT for a Two Face and that Joker with the Missle Laucher/Bazooka and Scarecrow from the Arkham Asylum scene (not too fussed on the Sonar Batman just because that figure could have easily been another character or a Bruce Wayne in a business suit, it's still a cool figure but there are so many other figures to make first in my opinion)..that is just going to be so bad ass to have them all lined up together.

I reaaaaaally REALLY hope they make a Gordon, Lucius and Alfred figure.

Either way if anyone is on the fence about getting the Harvey Dent action figure? ...don't be, he is great and a fantastic addition the to the "Dark Knight" Movie Masters 6-inch toy line.

Yes sireebob! Got my Harvey figures and couldn't be happier! He truly is an awesome figure!!..Mattel should wise up and realllly do a friggin' accessory pack or somethin'...my Harvey Dent action figure would at least be able to lock criminals away with a briefcase and some Penski files in it or somethin'....I mean the coin is cool and all but...I dunno..would have been cool to see him with some D.A. stuff...a friggin' staple gun or some whiteout or something...anything!

Here is a tip for you dude, or ..anyone really...if you guys have McFarlanes old Morpheus action figure from The Matrix? You can totally use his machine gun pistol (sucker even has a removable clip which is cool!) for your Joker figure. I had to crazy glue mine into my regular trenchcoat Joker cuz it wouldn't really stay in there properly...I'm thinkin' of hopefully shimmying it out of there and it'll hold much better in the Jailcell Jokers hand! :D

I could go on for days about how this line was butchered to high hell.

I mean how did Mattel completely fumble the ball as bad as they did with one of the most popular movies of all-time, and for all intensive purposes the best comic book movie of all-time and surely the most popular movie of 2008?

First they didn't plan accordingly for this line as well as they should have.

How did they underestimate their supply for this film? Everything brewing in 2007 up until 2008 had TDK being one of the most hyped movies of all time. And this is before Ledger even passed away. Everyone came around and loved Batman Begins, the hype built from there with the established quality of the first movie then you add the Joker to the mix. It was sure to be the most popular movie of 2008.

The over satuation of the kiddified 5 inch figures. Why? Batman Begins and ESPECIALLY The Dark Knight was by far more adult oriented than many of its superhero film counterparts. If anything the emphasis should've bee on the adult / collector movie master line from the get go.

They should've had a line of MM pre-dating the release of The Dark Knight movie masters in May with a line of BEGINS MM. It should've come out in Dec. 2007 or Jan. 2008. All you need is 4 figures. Bruce (Prototype Suit), Batman (BEGINS suit), Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul ... and the hype would build from there.

Then we saw after the original wave of MM came out in high demand and SHORT supply, the figures themselves literally got pulled from shelves due to a ventilation problem with the packaging. So for the month of May and June of 2008 these figures were EXTREMELY hard to find building up to the release of the movie. What kind of marketing is that? As the kiddified 5 inch versions continued to sit on pegs and seemingly BUILD in numbers.

Then Mattel releases a BUTCHERED Batman Begins suit Batman in the 2nd wave of figures. Practically out of scale size and height wise with the rest of the line. And for a "collectors" figure, didn't even get the details right on the suit that the 5 inch figures seemed to get right (the gauntlets are on backwards) ... the "chase" figures were virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find.

Now? We get a vital collection of figures, cool ones at that releasing ... get this ... and wait for it

2 YEARS

After the original line hit store shelves. Two Face, Harvey, Prototype Batman, Bank Robber Joker, Jail Cell Joker, Scarecrow (in more movie accurate suit) ... WHY? Why couldn't this line and characters been planned for and released in June / July of 2008?

Mattel mega F'ed up.

I'm waiting for the day the liscense with Mattel expires and either DC Direct, NECA, Mezco pick up the rights to go balls to the wall and make a high quality 6 inch line and do it up for each and every character deserving to have a figure from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Because a Dark Knight fans only other alternative for high quality ACCURATE figures both in movie accuracy and scale would be Hot Toys AMAZING 1/6th scaled line of figures. But there is no way in hell I can justify spending $175 on a toy / collectible. Especially in today's market situation.

Got me 2 Jail Cell Jokers earlier this morning!!! Cant wait to get the rest.

I got three of 'em. One for display, one for MIB and one for a head swap on the old Joker figure.

Let me tell you....it looks A MIIIIILION times better with the new head.:hoboj:



Also, I'm mulling over the idea of ordering another Jail Cell Joker and Bank Robber Joker to do a head swap on them as well.

After intially deciding to wait on the Jail cell Joker, I went ahead and bought him anyway on Matty.com - he arrived yesterday.

The fact that this guy can't sit is a tad frustrating considering the 2 best display options would be sitting on the floor or at the table. But, and correct me if I'm wrong here, this Joker shares the same hip articulation as the original one...so I'm not that surprised that Mattel reused the ridiculously large crotch to waist design.

The paint on the face is ok. Not awful, but just vague/bland. It does indeed look like a new headsculpt - slightly smaller than the other Joker (a little too small actually) and different nose & lips. The shoes are less weathered than the coated version, and the pants and vest are brighter.

Other thoughts: The shirt is well designed, albeit a bit bright. The hands are well done, but would benefit from some touches of white/red/black. The rocket launcher is ok, however doesn't serve too much use with this outfit. For that matter, if I had a choice, I would've preferred his machine gun, hand gun or even shotgun instead. You can display the coated Joker with it however.

Despite sounding somewhat negative, I actually do like this figure and I'm glad Mattel has finally come thru with this wave. Making the jump to 1:6 scale has just made me more critical, I guess.

He is listed as "almost gone" on Matty.com, and IMO, you may as well just pick him up this spring at TRU if you really want him.

Yup the only one not going to toys r us in the spring is Bank Robber Joker. I wonder if Toys R us will be getting a lot of these. On matty.com dent and proto suit bats are sold out and jail joker is almost gone. Makes me wonder how much they set aside for toys r us. I'll tell you right now that arkham scarecrow and sonar batman will not sell out on matty.com

I wasn't comparing it to version 1.
And comparing them straight up doesn't work since they are different versions of his makeup. You may prefer the look of one over another, but in terms of execution, they both have issues. One of the things I love about the entire interrogation sequence is the Joker's messy look. The way his black makeup is smudged in some spots, runny in others. The cracks of the white and the exposed skin underneath all help show him being worn. When I said bland, I just meant Mattel could've been a bit more specific with some of these characteristics. But again, maybe that's asking too much for six inch scale.

I think you just hit the nail on the head. That would be ASKING WAY TOO MUCH of a 6 inch MASS PRODUCED figure from a mainline toy brand. Way too much. Your expectations were set way too high. This isn't a NECA figure or a Hot Toys 1:6th scale piece for $175. LOL ...

I agree with a lot of the different points you both bring to the table. I am just happy we got another version of the Joker. I like version 1 a lot but i do think that the head scultp is far superior on Jail Cell Joker then version 1. I am however still a bit disappointed that the final result of Jail Cell Joker couldnt look more like the 2 up prototype on the back of the card. But then again thats a 2 up proto and the horsemen have more room for better articulation and sculpting. I just hope they keep this line alive to give us a nurse and cop Joker!

Yeah I saw that too, which ultimately just pissed me off. Like a week and a half before that, they said that Peck was getting pushed back to June, but they were going to move Venkman up to April. Then everything is pushed back to May. I just don't like how everything with them changes last minute and they can't seem to get their site under control. A lot of people end up walking away with nothing because the site always seems to crash on their release dates.

Let's just hope that everything works out in the end for all the lines we're interested in.

no no chase figures in this line sabetoonth. originally when the line was going to be made available to the public before it went mattycollector.com exclusive, Harvey Dent was to be the chase varient of Two-Face. Obviously plans changed. And yes i believe AZSpidey is correct. When all of these are released on line then mattel will release them to toys r us. So prob late may considering that two-face goes on sale May 15th on matty.com.

Did anyone else notice that on matty.com they made a He-Man accessory pack. What the Hell mattel!!! Thats all they had to do for the dark knight. That really grinds my gears.

New Movie Masters are hitting most if not all Toys R Us stores across the country simultaneously it seems. I'm in CT and the Northeast is usually the last to get new toys but I have found these at 3 different TRU stores in 2 days. I was able to pick up 2 of each of Jail Cell Joker, Two Face, Harvey Dent & Survial Suit Bruce (1 for me and 1 for my bro). The most awesome part is that the Toys R Us stores around me have had the old movie masters on clearance for $4.98 for like 3 months now and they didn't bother or didn't know to take the the clearance tags off of the pegs or specify the difference. So they gave them to me for $4.98 a piece!!!! Deal of the year as far as I am concerned. If any of you are looking for these, check if your stores have these clearance pegs and they will sell them to you for that price.

Just scored me Movie Masters Two-Face, Proto Suit Bats and Harvey Dent!!! Only 3 on the single peg. Apparently someone snaged the Jail Cell Joker that goes with this case but i already have 2 from matty.com. Now i dont have to pay the ridiculous $23.70 after shipping for Two-Face. Great figure and hope to get another to open up and display. I got them for $12.99 each, unfortunately no $4.98 pricing in my area.

I have a friend that works at our local TRUs and was talking to him about these and the new Mego styled superhero dolls. He said both those lines are now listed under TRUs computer as "collector" toys, and not every store gets them. He said its likely ours wont get the MM's because they still have a bunch of the old ones. Jokers, thugs, and Batmen.

As far as the Mego styled dolls, they had one case, sold out the same day, and dont know if they will get more in.

Toys r Us' ordering practices are wacked. That along with the comedy that is Mattel, there is little hope of finding any of this stuff. The best thing WB could do is take the license from Mattel.

Our TRU has a rather large supply of the original line of Movie Masters (Thugs and Batman making up most of the mass) and the last two trucks have included the new lineup of Movie Masters (Jail Cell Joker, Two Face, etc)

While it varies from store to store, this seems to be a rather different ballgame compared to the way stores rarely got shipments in the first few months of Summer 2008.

Dude, we gotta love the women in our lives sometimes huh lol. I spoke to one of the managers at my local toys r us this morning because there was one lonely Harvey Dent hanging on the peg. He stated that They have only received them twice in the last 3 weeks and it was only 1 box per shipment.

I scored Two face, Proto Bats, and Dent last week, so hopefully come Wednesday's shipment i can get me an extra Two face to open and hopefully customize as good as yours dude, and possibly get my hands on an extra Jail cell Joker. By the way what did you use to darken the area on Harvey's Face? That looks freakin great!!!

with the "official" release of Two-Face next month ("sniker") ,TDK Movie Masters officially come to a close...it's been 2 years (series 1 was released on May 1st,2008) ,lots of aggrivation,lots of gas wasted....but also lots of excitement,lots of speculation,and,indeed,lots of conversation amongst us all....

in the end,we got 14 different figures (including 2 chases) of 5 different characters,and 1 vehicle....

yes they are, thankfully so for those of us who liked the 6" scale figures from the first movie. but this time the majority of the attention is being put upon the smaller 3 3/4 inch scale figures, with only a few 6" figures in the whole line, and even then they are only "exclusives". there is a TRU exclusive 6" 3-pack of different colored comic-inspired ironmans, and then theres the walmart exclusive 6" mark 4 ironman, ironman with suitcase (not sure what that is) and war machine. unfortunatly i didnt hear of a 6" whiplash, but i hope eventually we get one though it seems unlikely.

theres also the marvel legends 7" mark 4 ironman and war machine that are Borders books exclusives which look pretty cool too, but i want the hasbro ones so it will fit in with my IM 1 figures.

I only need a MOC Two Face Mikey, but I'm in no rush. Saving up money for my MOTUC. It's pretty easy to find them at my TRU so I'll wait for the next shippment.

I hated the plastic used for Jokers face so I repainted him. I'm still not happy with the sculpt. Yes it's more detailed than the first Joker, but to me, if you're a good customizer, you can make the first Joker look really good.

I was finally able to pick up my second two-face and extra jail cell joker on Saturday morning. My local toys r us's out here in phoenix are literally only getting 1 case per shipment and thats not every truck. They receive about 3 trucks a week. lucky if they get 1 case on 1 truck.

Anyway anybody seen business suit scarecrow and sonar batman? ive only come across the two face, JC joker, Dent and proto bats case. No luck with sonar bats case.

well i got very lucky today and found the MM wave at 2 TRU and managed to snab the last twoface, which im very happy about! they had jail cell joker, survival suit bruce wayne and harvey dent. the only one i dont want is the harvey dent. AND i managed to get twoface at clearance price, though i had to do a little switch with the price tags. seriously i thinks its bogus that they are charging the new MM figures at full price of 12.99. that is a rediculously high amount for a figure that doesnt even come with a weapon. so if i have to cheat a bit to get the discount, i will. anyay the TRU guy lowered the price but said he could only do it for one figure, not for 2. so i could only get the twoface, didnt have enough to get jail cell joker or the bruce wayne so i took them and stashed them somewhere and i hope they dont find till the end of the week so i can go back and get them! these suckers are so hard to find.

i went to another TRU to see if i could do the same thing but damn they gave me so much flack about them being 12.99 and that only CERTAIN ones were on clearance and i almost got loud with them, i wanted them to clearnce it but they wouldnt and i was so angry i just left. some ppl are nice enough to lower the price and be more casual with it while others simply WILL NOT. it was just bad experience.

and no, i havent seen the sonar bats or scarecrow either, but i need the scarecrow.

also i saw the 6" ironman and war machine at walmart, they seemed to have them in abundance which is good for those of us who need to save some cash. but they look awsome, especially war machine.

i mean,everyone expected him to be there first,on May 15th....yet he started hitting TRU's nearly a month early....considering the line wasn't suppossed to even START being sold at TRU until after he went on sale online,those who've been patiently waiting for him CAN'T be happy that others just kinda "swept in" and got him first...and discounted,no less,in some cases!

i mean,do people continue waiting til the 15th? or say F-It,and try to get him at TRU,earlier AND cheaper?

also,how does this affect the supply? i mean,i imagine they HAD to know he was going to be a "hot" figure,and i would imagine they produced more of him than the others,but still,TRU orders are being filled BEFORE online orders...i gotta believe that will lower the available stock for matty.com...unless there was a set amount produced for online,and a set amount produced for retail....but even so,people are going to be pissed if he sells out online before they can order him,with the impression they should've filled the online orders first,before taking any leftover's to retail...

funny thing was,the 4H mentioned Superman Movie Masters around SDCC 2008...a Routh,and a possible Con-exclusive Reeve Superman in the future...then,nothing...

i guess it IS still possible at some point,as the Movie Masters brand encompasses other properties (Avatar, Ghostbusters) ,but i would imagine if they do make any,it'll be for the new movie Nolan is overseeing....

I strongly believe that Mattel will release more Batman related Movie Masters. Sales have been great not only on matty.com, which all of the movie masters have sold out but also at toys r us. Mattel is obviously not being stupid with production numbers this time around, which is great after the first fiasco.

I honestly just dont see why they dont bridge the gap between The Dark Knight Movie Masters and the 3rd batman figures with some 1989 bats and batman returns movie masters. It just makes so much sense.

The 4HM could make a solid 6 to 8 figures per film and break them up into waves. It generally takes roughly 6months to a year to go from concept to prototype to shelf for a figure. That means get working now on the concept sculpts and they could have new 89' and returns MM's on the pegs or matty.com by summer of 2011 and they could release the new figures through summer of 2012 and then release the mother load of new MM's for the 3rd batman film.

They could also throw in an MM batmobile and maybe a damn accessory pack for christs sake lol.

this could all be done. do you hear us Mattel, this could all be done and you would get our money lol.

they have the body and hands already done...use the Thug body for all,Scarecrow hands for all except Ra's (who'll keep the gloved Thug hands),and the Dent/Face tie...all you would have to do is mold the bodies in different suit colors,paint the shirts different colors,mold the tie in different colors,and - of course - mold Lucius' hands brown....

the only new parts they would have to make are the heads....

they have the body and hands already done...use the Thug body for all,Scarecrow hands for all except Ra's (who'll keep the gloved Thug hands),and the Dent/Face tie...all you would have to do is mold the bodies in different suit colors,paint the shirts different colors,mold the tie in different colors,and - of course - mold Lucius' hands brown....

the only new parts they would have to make are the heads....

I've been begging for a Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson) and Gordon since these figures were first released. I'd love to see an Alfred get made as well but if they can barely make main villains and I don't see much hope for any other characters

im pretty happy with what we've got if this is indeed the end of the line of this line. we got figures from both the dark knight AND batman begins, not to mention the incredibly awsome batpod. the MM batpod has got to be one of my favorite pieces in my action figure collection, its a great size, great detail for a toy like that. so really, im pleased and i cant wait to finally complete the collection and no more worrying about not haveing certain figures. there is hope that mattel may come back to MM for the 3rd movie but im not giving up my hopes for that.

also, anyone hopeing for a MM tumbler, gordon alfred, etc, please. that aint gonna happen for this line just cuz they made a harvey dent figure, which im also not picking up cuz its so, well, BORING. a guy in a suit. same thing with gordon, it just to me be boring. i like the visually appealing characters just lik everyone, and getting what is essentially a guy in a suit, bowtie, etc doesnt strike me as "cool". only figure i wish they made was a Ras al guhl, who i feel is the only character that is really missing from this line.

i'd be happy with both versions of Ra's ( Watabe and Neeson),and a Gordon....

also,keep in mind: Movie Masters was NOT intended to be the "main" movie line - the 5" line was...MM were intended to just be a little nod to the collector's....a very limited release...

but,the 5" line tanked,and everyone was buying the MM figures,so things kinda got reversed....so i am happy we got what we did,because i can imagine Two-Face being planned,but Proto Bats? Jail Cell Joker? Harvey Dent? ETC.? ....i would imagine we only got them BECAUSE of the line's popularity....if they had pegwarmed in the summer of '08 , we likely would've only got the first 2 series....

Very True Mikey. MM's were originally only intended as a nod to the collectors, but man oh man did Mattel hit a gold mine. God i hate the standard 5 inch figure line, just hidious figures. It would be great if Mattel just decided to scrap the 5 inch line all together for the next Batman film. Although they unfortunately cant leave the kiddies out because that would just be throwing money out the window in Mattel's eyes.

And i wish we could just get a damn Ra's at least. Wattanabe was cool but i would definitely much rather have

because they simply don't give a **** anymore...TDK is dead to them...the only reason we even got the last 7 figures released on matty.com (and 6 of them to TRU) was because they already produced them,and didn't want to have them sit in a warehouse and get no money for them....by the time they DID get around to making the new figures,Wal-Mart,Target,K-Mart,etc, had moved on,and weren't interested in ordering new stuff,just trying to clearance out the backlog of figures rotting on the pegs....a classic example of not striking when the iron is hot,and then losing sales....

I actually feel a bit sad for those of you who are still so interested in collecting this line. As a former "die hard" Batman collector I know what you all are feeling. In the end, these are just toys and not worth the aggravation, or money for that matter. As for a petition, Sabetooth, Mattel does not care about the fan/collector. It would be a nobel cause, but futile.

Our Iowa Toys R Us got in two cases of the "scarecrow" assortment (2 Joker with Missile Launder, 1 Night Vision Batman, 1 Scarecrow).

A steady stream of shipments all things considered.

Here's my take on the Sonar vision Batman figure.

All i did was take a regular TDK movie master and painted the eyes and added some gloss finish.

IMHO, mattel pretty much ruined the sonar vision batman ( not giving us what they pictured behind the card) and i don't see why they had to add battle damage to the figure, since the movie did not realy have any battle damage on the suit( the two face-gordon part) which was post the fight with joker.

I wanna start customizing again, I used to have a set of acryls and I did a few customs that turned out well, mainy a custom painted punisher(marvel 3.5 punisher repainted), and a duke nukem custom.

Stopped by my local toys r us this afternoon after work cause i had an itching feeling there was something there and i was able to score my extra Business Suit Scarecrow and Sonar Bats!!!! These were the last two i needed to complete my loose MM collection. Movie Masters are now complete!!! An entire collection sealed and a set Loose.

It seems as though there is a new case breakdown just so you guys know. Looks like x1 scarecrow
x1 sonar bats
x1 jail cell joker
x1 two face.

not a bad case at all. If anyone lives in Goodyear, AZ there were 2 two-face figures left hanging "damaged packages on both however" 2 jail cell jokers and 1 each of sonar bats and scarecrow, i grabbed the other two. Looks as though they got in 2 cases total.
