I want to welcome everyone to the new forum, on a new venture for Hype!
If you haven't figured it out, its a podcast SHH will be putting out.
In this forum, you can comment on it, suggest news items, or anything that you think revolves around the podcast.
Welcome!

What is the software one would need if they would like to contribute to the show?

Good that you mentioned Skype. I'm sure some thought there was a secret Hype convention going on that the rest of us were not invited.

Do I have an accent? I don't hear it of course, and I certainly hope it doesn't sound like the exaggerated drawl that the world loves to make fun of, and causes ridiculous stereotyping.

Nah, you're good. But tell me, that time you and Bo jumped across that river in the General Lee, how was Roscoe P. Coltrane able to follow and not fall in? :o :p
Straight up though, good job on the first cast, man...all of youse made some good points and had camaraderie.

Everyone usually hates their voice when they hear it recorded. It's not like the voice we have in our head. For example, I thought I sounded like I should be broadcasting from the basement of the science building (to quote Cheech and Chong), not the pleasing baritone I normally hear. So it's no big deal. I was more amazed at the quality of your microphone and how well it came across over Skype.

Actually, you do have an accent. That's not bad at all by any means, but you do have one.

For the time being. As time goes on and the show grows, new hosts can come on and things will start to move around. We would've had a fourth host on this show, but hopefully we can get him in on the next one.
