Future Upgrades to the Podcast

I wanted you all to know what I am looking to do.

1) Host the podcast in iTunes for you iPod lovers (I have a brand new one to....so yes, THIS WILL HAPPEN)

2) Setup a good XML RRS file so people using firefox, or other feed aggregators will be able to pull the information and episodes also.

Use Feedburner if you want to host it on iTunes. It makes things easier and you'll have a pretty accurate idea of how many people listen to it.

Never used Zune Marketplace...so that may take a few more minutes then others...

its actually really simple. all you do is put in the feed and then an image and you're done.

I didn't know if I should create a thread on this, so I'll just voice it here. Are you guys planning on making a recurring segment where you answer emails from fellow Hypesters? I think that would be a good addition to the show.

There is talk about that, and I personally think it'd be a good idea to answer things regarding the podcast and what we thought on certain issues. I think we'd have to get a few shows under our belt first to build up a repertoire and "find the show" as it were. But a few shows down the road, we can try something like that.

What are the future plans for the HypeCast? Now that TDK is out, what other movies and shows is there to talk about in the next few Episodes.

We're also going to hype up the other coming releases, talk about special events, maybe have an interview or two, and recap a lot of news. We may get into comic book and other mediums where superheroes reign (i.e. videogames, television, etc.). But now that The Dark Knight is out and in theaters, I have a feeling our podcasts will start getting a lot shorter.

Thanks! I appreciate you looking out for me. I'm not sure if I want to be a mod; sounds like a lot of work from what Malice and 'Fire tell me. I'm happy being an Internet Radio Personality for the time being, but if I ever advance beyond a simple civilian poster, I'll have you to thank for it!
