Like someone from the Hype or like celebs (ha!)?

AlteredEgo

i think celebs actually. SHH has more pull then you give 'em credit for. :o although i like the interviewing hype members too. think that could be interesting. pepper in some comic book industry people. think you'd have yourself a very geekgasm inducing podcast.

SHH has a little pull....but we need to get a show or two under our belt.
So we are going to aim about two months out....then really hammer for that point..unless Mirko can arrange some interviews for me before that.

The first to mention & really want Christian Bale interviewed should get a one month ban

Nor I. Is he in some movie that matters to the Hype?

I'd cast my vote for Zach Snyder or anyone involved in the "Watchmen" movie. That's shaping to be the big super-hero movie of '09.

That could just as easily turn out to be the next LXG

I second or third the suggestion for Stan Lee. Although it'd be fun to ask the Presidential Candidates if they prefer Marvel or DC.

I'd suggest a couple of the current Marvel/DC comic writers, get their opinion on the current flicks, some upcoming books, etc. I don't think they're quite Beatles status, they have public phone/emails.

BRUCE CAMPBELL!!!!!

Goyer and Faverau are great ideas and will prolly do it. They seem to care a lot about the fans (or at least talk about them a lot).

Any comic writer would be cool too

I swear though, if someone could get Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Kevin Conroy and Christian Bale all in the same room at once to interview, that would be the most watched and listened to thing ever.

I don't know what would happen if we could get all those Batmen onto one show at once. Perhaps the Universe would end... and it would be awesome!

That would be tough since Keaton said he hasnt seen a batman flick since he wore the cape, and Clooney said it was his biggest regret. But it would still be awesome.

I could actually see West Conroy and Bale getting in the same room. Maybe Kilmer i dont know what his opinion of Batman is.

Here's an idea: Whoever y'all decide to interview, wouldn't it be cool if you had like an open chatroom where some members of the Hype ask said celebrity questions? I think it could be pretty cool. Any thoughts?

Yeah, though that might be opening a massive can of stalker worms.

Other shows have made it so that listeners could send in e-mail questions so the hosts could pick and choose which ones got on the air. That's certainly in the realm of do-ability, and the question writer would get full credit on the air when the question is asked. It's slightly different than what you're suggesting, which is where the board members can ask a question directly to the guest.

We did say that we wanted the show to be fan-centric, so that is one of the logistical issues we're trying to work on if and when we are able to get guests for the show.

highscorefilms got the right idea, Ive seen too many of these go out of control. Sometimes the fans as well get ahead of themselves throwing questions before the person can even answer, so it would have to be heavily monitored.

I like the way Newsarama (i think it was them) did it. A week before they would create a forum for possible questions. The forum goers would submit them and the mods would get the best ones, weed out multiples, and set it up so that it would read like a straightforward interview the following week.

It'll liven up a bit closer to the holiday season. In fact, I'll go on record as saying that if we are able to get Frank Miller plugging "The Spirit," I'd volunteer to kill my microphone for the entire interview. If I didn't, I'd freak out like a schoolgirl who got to meet Justin Timberlake, and it would not be pleasant.

I'd personally like to see David Hayter come on the show, as he's one of my idols. But he's way the heck out in California and we're scattered across the country, so it'd have to be a phoner, or in our case, a Skyper.
