Yea brains and offal meats are definitely tastes that you need to get use to. Unfortunately they're some of the best things for you. Brains are good for your brain; kidney, liver and gallbladders are good for your kidney liver and gallbladder, respectively. I always found that interesting how literally "You are what you eat" can be sometimes.

I don't hate the taste of onions, peppers, tomatoes and other veggies, but the textures give me the willies.

Oh, and chickpeas. It tastes like what would happen if someone took sawdust, dirt, and stale peanuts and mashed them into a paste.
Also, I have an intense dislike for sushi. The texture of the wet rice combined with the smell... let just say the first and only time I tried it, it was about 7 seconds between consumption and vomit.

McDonald's... I hate that place
Agreed. Accept when you're really drunk and it's the only place open...
I can't believe how many of you guys don't like vegetables. Ive heard decent fresh fruit and veg is hard to find in the US. maybe thats why. what do you eat if you don't eat vegetables?
Plus, who doesn't like artichokes? i mean seriously, they're awesome! If i had a constant supply of artichokes, mushrooms and eggplant (obviously separate dishes) i could totally go vegetarian... for a few weeks anyway...
Also, as an ex fishmonger, very dissapointed that so many people hate seafood. But then again, living on campus and seeing what most people call seafood (ie frozen crap from thailand or processed "fingers") i can understand it. If i thought that was all there is, i wouldn't want to try it again.

I personally can't stand it. I think it's horrible. I've had it many times, both in restaurants and from Indian coworkers. Tastes awful to me. Another food that I can't eat is sushi. I like it, but it EFF's my stomach up every single time I eat it, and I've had it in a lot of different cities at a lot of different places, some of them rather famous for sushi. Destroyed my intestines every single time. So, no sushi for me. Cook that fish and then we'll talk.

The one place I will not eat is Steak and Shake. All their food is so greasy that it tastes terrible. If you ever buy a bag of Fritos, take one and smash it with your foot into a sidewalk. It will actually leave mark from all the grease.

That's disgusting. I've never liked Fritos though. However, I did stop drinking Coke (any cola or soda for that matter) over a decade ago when I saw it clean residual acid off of my car battery.

Lambs Head - delicacy for my father
Gristly Lamb Knee Joints (with cartilage) - another nasty delicacy for my father
Tripe - Consistency of Rubber
Ostrich meat - Tastes like old Beef thats been sitting in the freezer for too long
Vegetables:
Okra - Slimy and digusting
Cole Slaw
Dairy:
Limburger Cheese, the smell alone reminds me of cow manure or smelly feet.
Street /Junk Foods:
Dutch/Holland Kroket (Looks like a cheese stick, but tastes like tooth paste)
Egg Rolls
Orange Chicken - Thats not really orange..and Im gonna assume thats not really chicken either!
Qaboli Polov - Raisins dont belong in rice!

My dads whole family were farmers for generations so they eat some wicked stuff. He told me once he participated in an eyeball eating contest.
Id like to say that he's taught me to not take food for granted, but there are some things that I don't have the stomach for. Surprisingly, meat from the cheak of a cow or a lamb is really good...cow tongue actually tastes good also if you strip away the top layer of it...otherwise it feels like its tasting you back.

Slight allergy to shrimp and lobster, so while I like shrimp I very rarely eat any, lobster I just find awful anyway. Crab and fish I like tho.
Stories behind these 3, but cold McDonald's breakfast burrito, cold bamboo shute from a can, and pig's brains consist of the 3 nastiest things I've eaten.
I go thru a cycle with chocolate. For the most part I don't care for it taste wise, but rarely I'll pick up a chocolate candy bar, but for the most part I just don't care for it....chocolate milk, and chocolate ice cream are alright tho.
Can't really think of much else. In fact when in places I normally don't go I try the more exotic foods they have (outside of body parts like eyes or testicles...hell no). I've learned weird look or texture =/= gross, so I try not to judge a food by it's look for the most part. Also the mushroom and mustard hate surprises me heh.

Yes, this thing is called the Big Texas Cinnamon Roll. As you can see the wrapper boasts it won the Pastry of the Year award. Now some of you guys might call me crazy but I tasted one of these suckers for myself a week ago and it nearly made me vomit. I used to love them then one day I bought one and then i said to myself "What THE **** is wrong with me, this crap is DISGUSTING!!!".
They also sold this at my vending machine:

Oh and one thing I cant eat is ANY form of sausage....that is sooo disgusting. And how can people eat pork skins!?...that sounds so gross.
Or anythings skin?...some people like chicken skin the best, thinking about it gets me squeemish cause I always imagine someone like practicing cannibalism and taking a bite out of my arm and like eating off all my skin...yuck! It gets me paranoid :csad:
AND Cinnamon is soooo good. At the mall whenever I pass by Cinnabon it feels like my nose is in heaven. It smells so good and I love cinnamon buns (except for the cheap ones from the vending machines)...and cinnamon toast crunch, that like one of my favorite cereals!
