Greetings all.
Episode 003 is here.
Thanks to Tropical Storm Edouard (not sure how to spell it)
He delayed us a day, and the normal 2 days of editing and became three because of some noise in the background.
Take a gander at it
(we know there is some noise on it, but we are taking steps to remove that from the next ones.... If it was TOO bad, we would not have released it)

I can attest to that. I practically had the audio on life-support to get it to where it was.
But we are still ironing out the kinks of how to record multiple people with different equipment in different time zones and make it come out the best. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to record Skype on multiple tracks to give me a bit more flexibility in the editing process.

I may be technical, but when it comes to audio editing....um...no thanks

Thanks, Mal. I'm also working on some specialty drops for when we get intro/outro music and just for special occasions.

Ha, I like the little bit about Gillian Anderson. As for the Bat-Button bust thing, I'd totally buy that!

that Venom/Wolverine comparison is completely invalid. Venom has never carried a comic series outside of a number of mini-series. Wolverine has had a solo comic series for decades. also, Venom was seen in one film. Wolvie has three to his credit. poor pull for a comment.

But would you agree that the Venom film may have less of a shot than Wolverine? That was one point brought up during the show; Wolverine is a much more well known character, both through his popularity in the comics and through the film adaptations. Therefore, making a "Wolverine" spin-off makes more commercial sense, in my opinion.
Not to say that a Venom movie wouldn't work or make money, but it'd have to try harder than a Wolverine movie.

I remember reading years ago before Spider-Man 1 came out that David S. Goyer (I think) wrote a script for a Venom movie that never had any mention of Spider-Man.

yes, totally agree with that Venom has a lesser shot at being successful than Wolverine. it just seems a better comparison to Elektra, which was mentioned, than a Wolverine film.
i was just kinda shocked to hear someone say they were uneasy about the prospect of a Wolverine film because it would be just another character plucked out of one film for another.

Wolverine never carried his own cartoon, it's always been The X-Men. I believe there is a new show called Wolverine and the X-Men but it's still an X-Men show.
People will see a Wolverine movie because, Huge Jackman is in it, they liked the X-Men movies or/and they are a comic book geek.
People would see a Venom movie because they are comic book geeks or/and they liked the Spider-Man movies (maybe coz they liked the 3rd pacifically but not necessary)
The fact that the 3rd movie in both franchises were considered bad movies might hinder both spin-offs especially since it was only the 3rd movie in which Venom appeared.

Me...
I was saying, he's stronge enough to carry a comic but comic book geeks love him, he's not stronge enough to carry a cartoon coz he's just another X-Man to everyone else.
Doesn't help the Venom movie coz he's never had a comic or cartoon but still the point is there that Wolverine is just a X-Man to anyone that doesn't read comics.
