WHen Transformer first came out, my parents cheaped out on me for Christmas and bought me GoBots. You could buy all of them in one set for like 5 bucks.

I had both Gobots and Transformers, I always kept them seperate though, Gobots were not kosher :o

I have to admit, the guy doing Megatron does do a very good impression of Frank Welker's voice. Not too many fan vids like this can do it. He's either too raspy, or too high pitched. Not to cool on the bleeped out swearing though.

I think at some point Transformers ended up owning the name GoBots. I'm not a fan of either, so I'm not sure of teh specifics. I seem to remember some kind of Transformers: GoBots line.
