The snobby hott girls?
The pricks who made fun of you and your friends?
The geeky kids that pick on the more geeky kids?
Your first time drinking and smoking pot?
PROM?

oh yeah...I miss those those days...

I remember having the biggest crush on the hottest girl when I was in high school, I decided to see what she looked like recently so I searched her on facebook and oh boy did she put on weight.
not that there is anything wrong with that.
If I could go back, That would definately be the time in my life I would go back, knowing what I know now. Man, what good times high school was.

That happened to most of the hot cheerleaders I went to school with, which is good, because proportionally, not sure of the spelling, I was in the band, my alphabet only goes from A to G. They can still hold each other up in the pyramid.

our class was so self absorbed we had to make our reunion an 11 year reunion, so i guess we'll be doing a 22 year, maybe as a tradition i guess.

yeah, Clinton was a modern era, FDR. My fellow southern baptists and conservative Christians will disagree, but you can't argue with results. While I didn't agree with some of his views, he did a hell of a job in the office and I would vote for him if he ran again. The music was the best, the movies were better than they are now, people in other countries still liked americans. i know I went to some of them. had my own jazz band and we toured all over europe just after graduation and they loved us. i'm trying to get my trumpet player back so we can get the band back together, I just have to get him to quit touring with Prince.

And plenty more "meh"'s to come.
My advice? Don't take high school so seriously. The students, the teachers, everything. Don't get kicked out or anything, just do the best you can class wise and get the hell out of there.
I hated High School with a passion. Mainly because of the kids. The teachers were great though.

As far as the girls go, there was one I kind of had a thing for in high school, and we became friends. I should have known she was trouble being that she had a racist dad and lots of boyfriend problems. When we graduated I decided to not keep in contact with her and just move on.
Last time I saw her was last year, she looked not as hot as I remember plus she was in an abusive relationship with a butch lesbian.

i had my first everything in highschool pretty much
i remember i lost my virginity 3 days before the first Pirates of the Caribbean came out.
thats when i started to wear girl pants, and then 2 years later it seemed like EVERYONE did.
thats when i first learned i could actually dance and not feel stupid about it.
first time i got drunk, and yes, pot.
sometimes were good, some were bad. as a whole of 4 years, i seriously doubt it will be up there with the best moments of my life tho

Elaborate? For me, HS was definitely one of the best times of my life. *nerd* I made some very dear friends whom I am still friends with to this day. Didn't really belong to any particular 'cliques' as I got along with almost everyone. Except for girls who are convinced I was trying to 'steal' their boyfriends. And boys who thought that I thought I was a snob who thought that I was too good for them. It's amazing how they seemed to know what I thought when I didn't even think it!

Seems to me that if you're looking back on any short span of years in your life longingly, wanting to go back, wishing things were like that again- there's something seriously wrong with your present life and you should shift your focus to fixing what's wrong with that.
There's a difference between remembering that they were good and trying to live in those memories.

No, I don't want to go back. Been there, done that. Saying it's one of the best moments of my life doesn't necessarily mean I want to go back. Why live the same thing twice when there is so much new experiences to look forward to? Looking back at the past with fondness doesn't necessarily mean wanting to go back. That's not possible.
Can't speak for others who say they had the time of their lives in HS, but I love my present life as well. Each memories, each moment of my life, can't be compared, they're special in their own way. I love talking to my friends in HS about then as well as now and we're content at where we are, and where we were.

It was okay, I guess. The thing I miss most is playing baseball. Even THAT wasn't too spectacular. The classes were all too easy, and while I wasn't the least popular kid in school, I sure as hell wasn't the most popular. People knew me and liked me, but it rarely went beyond that. I think that was my fault. I could have been more social and socially successful.
Meh. That sums up high school. Meh.
