I was bored one weekend last winter when it was snowing like hell here and watched most of the series up until that point and really liked most of it. Some has the stupidity of the prequels, but some of the other stuff is darker, and would have made the prequels GOOD.

Most of the retcons I don't mind. The Mandalore one I had mixed feelings about. I mean, I thought it was a very interesting to take the Mandos in a totally opposite direction but its also kind a giving a big middle finger to everything that several other writers have worked to establish.

I heard that they had a big role in the last two episodes and that the Hutt Council was used and I was all "cool, maybe it'll give me some more ideas for my Rotta stuff." Dude, I know. Unfortunately it's a kid show, and I feel like they feel they are handcuffed by that. And that's why there's a lot of goofy crap in the show as well.

Hopefully if the live action series is ever made it'll be more serious.

Of course, that sort of goes against setting a common timeline for all the games that's being discussed. :p Although, if we ended by February, that would work.
