Four Years Ago, Kamino

"Hold the line!" A voice cries, it's sounds nearly drowned out from the gunfire and explosions. Fire flies through the air, balls of burnt flesh and limbs cluttering the air. Smoke covers their eyes, blinding them as they duck behind their brothers bodies. This is war.

Vill runs up behind a mound, holding onto his DC-17 blaster tightly. He makes a quick prayer, praying for the lives of his brothers. As he closes his eyes, he hears the sounds of death. He hears the noises of men crying, men bleeding, men dying.

Vill suddenly feels something grab him, holding onto his arm with a violent twist. He pulls back his arm and extends his vibro-blade, ready to strike. He opens his eyes and sees his brother next to him, his face scarred and bleeding. "Help...me, Vill." He says in a weary voice. "Help...me."

Vill retracts his vibro blade and grabs his brother, holding him by his mild armor plating on his chest. He pulls him up beside him, and keeps him close to his body. "Stay close," he tells him. "Keep your eyes ready." As he prepares to shoot, his brother begins to shake.

"This is no simulation," the clone says. "This is suicide." Vill frowns and grabs the clone by his arm. He smacks him across his already bloody face, getting his attention. "You know what this is?" He asks the clone. "This is what it'll be like out there. We're the best, we're the Republic's finest!" He releases the clone, and takes a deep breath as the ground shakes from the anti-armor explosions in the distance. "Now," he starts, looking back to the shaken clone. "Vode an," he tells him with a grin. "Brothers all."

IG-88B accessed the hatch to the 2002 and walked past the repair droid without a word. The 2002 looked pristine. The 2002 was the first IG-2000 the IG's had commisioned on Mechis III since the Battle of Endor. She had an Ion cannon, two laser cannons and two tractor beams. It's the tractor beams and the ions that have snared the most bounties. Quite a combination and the tractors were far above the standards. This new IG-2002 was top of the line.

Once 88B boarded the ship a cadre of IG-100 MagnaGuard droids boarded the 2002. The droids dispersed to their crew stations. Some to the brig. Some to the weapons arrays. Some to the bridge.

"Set course for Tatooine. Deactivate inertial dampeners. No bios on board."

"Roger, roger."

Time to find some work.

The droid itself had specialized sensors and scopes, a broadband antenna, and a hologram recorder and projector. It also knew a large variety of tools, star ships and other vehicle types and huge amount of parts suitable for them. The skeletal body composition allowed LE-series droids to squeeze inside even the tightest places in almost every type of machinery.

Sounding calm as any droid would even in a crisis situation, Leebo informed his master of his new findings.

'Imperial Ships Sir. I'm calculating their current position, and their altitude and I've pinpointed their desired destination"

"Which is?"

'Theed Palace sir. And from the reports on our scanners, they appear to be leading an invasion force of the capital.'

Even Leebo recognized what this meant. There job was about to become a bit more complicated.
