The 2008 Oscars have been and gone and one of the movies that stood out was No Country For Old Man, which won an Oscar for Best Motion Picture of the Year and then another 3 for directing, best supporting actor and screenplay. However, all is not golden for Tommy Lee Jones, who is suing Paramount Pictures (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tmz.com%2F2008%2F09%2F06%2Fto mmy-lee-jones-no-money-for-old-men%2F&ei=sHLFSIavKoie1wa6gr3bBw&usg=AFQjCNHfMvFQzBa0BQAViG8sg8BK5VzA9A&sig2=So2I06bt_kxnFjGqUJ37jQ) for $10 million, claiming that he accepted a reduced fee for starring in the movie with the promise of a cut of the box office. Neither Tommy Lee or Paramount expected the movie to make $160 million worldwide and it seems Paramount haven’t kept to their deal, so the lawyers are coming out.

I find it hard to sympathize with millionaires suing for more millions, although I suppose Paramount are in the wrong on this one.

I agree that they do have to live up to their deal . They made a deal with the actor and its unexpected sucess shouldn't be looked at negatively. In the end they all make money , lots of money.
