Transformers Tuesday on ET and the Insider!!

Hey guys,

I usually frequent the Batman boards, but I work for ET so I thought I'd let you guys know that this Tuesday, September 23rd, Entertainment Tonight and the Insider will air an exclusive set visit.

I logged most of the footage that fed in so this is what I can tell you:

There are interviews with Michael Bay, Shia Labeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Megan Fox, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura (one of the producers).

Here are the spoilers:

They will show a stunt from the final climactic scene involving F-16 jets and the set from the first film with the ruins and village in the Middle East. It's being filmed in White Sands Missile Base in New Mexico.

Obviously, no Transformers are there because they will be digitally added later.

The Autobots are now working with the government and military to fight agains the Decepticons.

The movie is set two years after and Sam is now in college, but Mikaela could not afford college, so she stays at home and works in a bike shop.

The scene they are filming is a rescue mission to save Sam and Mikaela.

Not only are they still together, but several times you could see a ring on Megan Fox's left hand. Even though I know she's engaged in real life, Bay would unlikely let her wear it for filming unless it carried significance. So perhaps Sam and Mikaela are now engaged?

For the Insider visit, it's Victoria Recano. So that part will likely be stupid. But the ET part was done by Mark Steines, who is a pretty big Transformers fan, so his visit was pretty cool. At least, the raw footage of the visit was fun to watch.

Sounds ok. Sucks that we won't really get to see any of the TFs (do the vehicle modes count?)

Maybe they'll give us a quick look at the animatics like they did last time, remember? With the Barricade animatic?

Lucky bastard and as for that scene it looks like exactly the same scene from TF1 with the same setting with just a few differences here and there.
